Chapter 60: Overestimated.
Once the auction is over, the robbers begin to make their move. The auction house had already warned the bidder to be careful. However, if the robbers are stronger, everything is useless.
In the woods, there are corpses whose bodies have been slashed or are missing a head. Beside them are masked women holding bloody swords.
The only survivor is a man holding the magic sword that he won in the auction.
"Damn it, Die!" The man takes out his revolver and aims it at one of the masked women.

The man keeps firing until he runs out of ammo. However, the bullets don’t go through the masked woman's body; instead, the bullet, when coming closer to the woman's body, slows down like entering a hard membrane and falls to the ground.
"What." The man's eyes were wide.
The masked woman then comes closer and slashes; blood splatters and the man collapses to the ground. Until death, he can’t believe he will die today.
Warriors since the last great war centuries ago have developed aura shield skills to defend against bullets and projectiles.
In the past, a normal human with a musket and revolver could kill an apprentice or adept with ease. Although weapon technology had advanced, the warrior and mage had also not stopped developing countermeasures to fight against modern weapons.
However, the knowledge has not spread to the whole continent because of greed. Rather than sharing the information to fight a common enemy, they don’t want others to get stronger.
"My lady here is the master sword." A masked woman handed him the magic sword.

A group of masked men is already waiting for Levi's group when they enter the woods. Thomas, the butler, moves in front of Ember to protect her. While the masked maid and muscular man move to the rear to protect her.
"Give us the space element magic book or die." One of the masked men spoke.
"How dare you try to rob us!" The muscular man shouted.
" We don’t care; no one will know if anything happens here."
"Young miss, there are many of them; let's abandon Mr. Levi." Thomas's priority is to protect her; if anything happens, he will never forgive himself.
"Can’t you do anything?" Ember whisper.
"No, my job is only to protect you." Thomas takes out his rapier.
While the others are wary, Levi looks relaxed and moves toward the masked man. "Protect Ember; let me deal with this alone."
"Do you want to give them the magic book?" Ember asked.
"No." Levi infused mana into his leg and leaped toward the masked men. His plan is simple: if he can’t defeat them, he is going to flee.
"Kill them!"
The masked men sprint toward Levi and the rest.
The masked men swung their swords toward Levi. Without taking out his sword, his arm turns into crimson scales and claws. During his time in the Leston Kingdom, he learned how to turn any part of his body into a blood-venom dragon.
Levi dodges the sword and slices the man's body with his claw. After that, he withdrew his hand, and his other hand had already grabbed the sword coming at him.
Bastard, let go of the sword!" The masked man tries to move his sword but won’t budge.
Without saying anything, Levi spits into the masked man's face.
AHHH, my eyes!" The masked man let go of the sword and touched his eyes. He collapses to the ground, and his skin turns green and a black blotch comes out.
Levi can turn his saliva into poison. After the lesser azure dragon bloodline mutated because of the primitive magic, He still had the same blood and poison of the primitive magic inside his body, only in a different form.
"What have you done? Forget the rest and focus on him!"
The other masked men leave Ember and her guard.
"Mr. Levi, watch out!" Ember shouted.
Thomas just watches and doesn’t do anything to help Levi. The masked men are not a problem; if he is alone, he can deal with them. But Miss Ember's life is his first priority. When he gets the news that someone tried to assassinate her, he almost gets a heart attack.
"It looks like I need to get serious." Levi's body begins to bulge and rip apart his clothes. His head turns into a dragon. While his skin turns to crimson scales and a long tail comes out from behind.
Once the transformation finishes, Levi's body is larger, and crimson scales cover his body.
"He is a Dragonborn!" The masked man leader shouted.
The robbers halted and fled. This is not something that they can defeat.
Without saying anything, Levi begins to chase the masked men. He launches several fireballs toward the fleeing masked men. They get engulfed in flames and die.
The other robbers get their limbs torn apart from their bodies.
While Levi is distracted, an arrow comes out of the woods and flies toward him.
Levi stops the arrow using telekinesis and throws it back to the archer. The archer's eyes were wide when the arrow pierced through his head.
"Please spare my life. I work for a count; you will die if you kill me and." The leader of the masked man grovels on the ground and tries to beg and threaten Levi.
Before the masked man can finish his word. Levi cut off the masked man's head using his claw, and blood spurts from the neck like rain.
After seeing all the robbers already dead, Levi changes to his human form, but his clothes are already ripped apart.
Ember and the other face became pale and wary. In not even half an hour, the robbers had been massacred by Levi alone.
"Can you leave first? I am going to change my clothes."
They nodded their heads and left.
Levi notices the change in their expression, but he doesn’t care. This time he overestimates the robbers’ strength; they are weak, and there is not even an adept rank among them. They must have robbed a weak group before; that’s why they are confident.
"Now let’s convert them to death points." The corpses turn into invisible particles and disappear once Levi walks past them, and after changing his clothes, he returns to the mansion.
Ember, after the shock, has already calmed down and talked to Levi like nothing happened. She doesn’t ask Levi about the Blood Venom Dragon transformation; since everyone had a secret, this is what she learns from her family. Nonetheless, her butler and guards are nervous when he is near them.

A few days later, at the large airport in the city. Levi and the rest are saying goodbye to Ember. This time they decided to travel to the Grosea Kingdom by flying ship. However, because of safety reasons, Ben needs to stay inside a cage in the ship's hold.
"Come and visit me next time!" Ember shouted.
Levi waves his hand. Ember, since that incident, has acted like usual and hasn’t told anyone about it.
The flying ship looked like a large medieval ship without a sailing ship pole and had a wing on both sides of the ship hull. The flying ship rose to the sky and left the city.
Jason and Clara are excited; this is their first time riding a flying ship. The other first-time passenger had the same reaction.
Levi is calm. It's not just different than riding a plane or hot air balloon. People on the deck are protected by a mana ship created by the flying ship to prevent them from getting blown away by the strong wind. Otis had the same expression as Levi.
The distance from the city to the Grosea Kingdom on the ground is usually around a month by horse or mount. Thanks to the invention of a flying ship, it will take several days to arrive, depending on the weather and monster attacks.
The monsters that commonly attack flying ships are the Harpy, Hippogriff, Manticore, Winged Ape, and Wyvern. However, thanks to the flying ship's speed, they can normally escape in time.
Several days later, the flying ship entered the Grosea Kingdom border and landed in the nearby city.
Jason can’t wait to see his family and buy a gift, especially for his youngest brother and sister.
At the airport, Ben yawns and comes out of the cage. Fortunately, Levi had stored enough food for Ben inside his spatial storage spell.
After preparing everything and going to the mercenary guild, they leave the city and head to Zholis City.

"What should we do now?" The middle-aged woman asked
On the bed, a middle-aged man with a bandaged arm is resting.
"Mom, our only hope is to leave this kingdom."
"But they will find us."
"I don’t want to give them my sibling."
"I agreed; if we stay here, nothing good will happen. With my arm broken, it will be impossible to get the money to pay off the debt." The middle-aged man said.
"When are we going to leave?" The middle aged woman asked.
"Before the city gate closes today." The middle-aged man suspected the accident today was not a coincidence.
