Reincarnated to Bonk in Another World

Chapter 60: Yale's True Power

Two hours later, Yennex and Yale finally returned to the mansion. There was a smile on Yale's face, showing that he had gained his freedom.

"Sorry, Albert. I made you wait outside. I wanted to bring you to the castle, but I realized it would just cause more trouble for you. After all, Her Majesty Lilith seemed to be serious about you, so my father might take this seriously and create problems.

"Hence, I asked you to stay here for the time being. My father wouldn't see your face anyway, so you're a free man." Yale smiled, explaining the situation.

"It's fine." Albert waved his hand, treating it as not a big deal.

"For now, I am planning to stay here for three days and make sure I don't leave anything important behind. I also need to prepare to camp outside since there won't be any support.

"If you don't mind, I would like to invite you to stay in my mansion for the next three days before we go to another place."

"Yeah. I don't mind." Albert agreed without hesitation. "Though I still have no idea where to go. Since you know more about the geography around here, I would like to talk about it later."

"Actually, I have a destination in mind. I think you will like that place." Yale smirked.

"Is that so?"

"Yeah. I guarantee it. We have been talking for the past few days, so I kind of know what you like and dislike. I will tell you about the details later, so for now, I want you to come inside first.

"I will prepare our equipment and any necessities, including money. This place is not that far, so we can go with food instead of searching for a caravan."

Albert thought for a moment and nodded. "Sure. It's going to be fun I believe."

"Yeah. It's the first time I leave on my own accord, so I bet this is going to be fun for me." Yale winked his eye.

Yale then turned to Yennex and said, "Yennex, can you go inside the mansion first and prepare our lunch?"

"Understood." Yennex nodded with a serious expression and entered the mansion while bringing the carriage with him.

Albert had been staring at the mansion for a while and still felt impressed by its appearance. It was hard for him to see a mansion back on Earth.

The building was two stories tall and seemed to be stretching over a hundred feet to the side. It was painted white with a huge fountain in the front. The best part was the fact it was surrounded by a garden with only green grass around. It was a place they could use to train.

The roof created a slope in two directions, so he was impressed by the architecture in this place, considering there was no technology here.

"Still, what will you do if others find you talking with a normal person like me?"

"As long as you don't care, I won't even bother with them. I mean, I'm leaving this place to become a normal person and enjoy the world… I live for myself, not them, so why should I care about their opinion?" Yale shrugged.

"Haha, you're truly interesting. I'm in." Albert extended his hand. "I will be in your care."

"No, no. You're older than me, so I will be in your care. Please use your experience to guide me." Yale politely shook his hand.

However, their peace was disturbed soon by an unpleasant couple.

"Oh? Isn't this Yale?" Suddenly, a female's voice echoed in their surroundings, making all of them face the same direction.

They saw a man and a woman standing next to them.

The man had long black hair that was tied into a ponytail. There were pointed ears on top of his head that looked like a wolf.

Meanwhile, the woman had silver hair that seemed to be sparkling even without anything enveloping it. Her enchanting, sharp white eyes stared at Yale. Yet, the latter could only feel disgusted and mockeries behind that gaze.

Yale gritted his teeth and shouted, "What are you doing here, Arsa?"

"I am just accompanying the third prince strolling in the city. Is that a problem?" Arsa made an evil smile as she didn't even bother to hide it anymore.

"Yale. I have heard that you have returned, so I am just visiting you." The man also didn't hold back, showing that he paid him a visit just to create trouble for him. "I guess you're lucky enough to be alive."

Albert, on the other hand, looked at these two with a shocked face.

Name: Raon

Race: Werewolf

Level: 64

Gender: Male

Name: Arsa

Race: Werewolf

Level: 50

Gender: Female

'They're stronger than Yale?' Albert furrowed his eyebrows. He could see that the man seemed slightly older than Yale, but the woman appeared to be as young as him. 'Their levels… It's not something I can interfere with, I guess.'

While Albert was observing them, Yale shouted, "I don't need your visit. It's better if you leave right now."

"Don't be so cold. It's your fault that you can't keep me. But thanks to that, I can find a man who is worthy of me." Arsa smirked.

Yale gritted his teeth as he couldn't help but remember what happened in the past. There was also another reason why Yale was sent to meet Lilith.

Yale was known to be a genius because he had started learning faster than anyone else. However, when he received a blessing from their Demon God, Yale turned out to be an anomaly.

His father still believed in him and took care of him for a few years, trying to help his situation. However, Yale's power was too much for him to handle, and eventually, Yale couldn't use his power because it would be too dangerous.

That was when everything started falling apart. Yale simply couldn't become the "one percent" of the anomalies even though he was a genius.

Yale knew about this and accepted his fate already, but he still didn't like it when they actually mocked him in front of his partner, Albert.

"If you don't go now, I will personally remove you." Yale glared at them.

Meanwhile, Albert thought, 'The audacity of this bitch... It makes Lilith look like an angel as she's a fair person.'

"Do you think you can? This is outside your property and you're weaker than me." Raon stepped forward as if he wanted to protect Arsa.

The latter even hugged him from behind and said seductively, "Ah, so cool. Please protect me from him."

"Then we will see!" Yale was already beyond his boiling point, and he finally charged forward.

The golden light appeared on his right fist as his nails grew a little bit and became sharper.

He leaped forward and sent a fist to Roan's face, but suddenly, the black flame appeared on his other hand and clashed with the golden light.

"Khhh!" Yale lost control of their power as both the golden light and the black flame disappeared, leaving him with nothing.

It was at this moment Roan slipped past his defense and hit Yale on the stomach, blowing him away.

"Gah!" Yale was launched into the air for a second before Albert hurriedly caught him. "Yale."

"Oh, what do we have here? You even let nobody call your name? A prince doesn't suit you at all." Arsa took this opportunity to continue mocking him.

"You… don't… insult… my friends." Yale clutched his chest, struggling to get up.

"Kh… Can't I do something for Yale? I feel bad to see him being bullied when I don't have enough strength to oppose them," said Albert inwardly while gritting his teeth. He felt sad when Yale needed to bear all the brunt by himself.

[There is one thing that you can do.]

'What is it? Give it to me that way, Bonkey.'

[You should just ask him to be your student. That way, he will be registered as a Bonk Officer, so he can wield the Bonk Bat.]

'Just take a look at their level difference. They're just slightly less powerful than Yennex. It's impossible to beat that gap with only the Bonk Bat. I know that they're horny, but unlike Lilith, I might die if I intervene.' Albert gritted his teeth.

[I think you are underestimating the power of the Bonk Bat.]

'What do you mean?'

[Why do you think you can get all seven jobs? Why do you think you can wield all elements?]

'Why?' Albert muttered before he came to a realization. 'Wait a minute.'

'For a Warrior, Bonk Bat can become something similar to that of a sword. For a leader, the Bonk Bat will act as my specter. For a Magician, the Bonk Bat can become my staff.

'The same applied to all jobs. My Bonk Bat is the most versatile of all. In that case, can it become…' Albert sucked a cold breath.

[That's right. You can wield all those jobs along with the elements because of the Bonk Bat. And why did I mention elements?]

'Don't tell me… The Bonk Bat is actually helping me wield all these elements? If that's the case, doesn't it mean it can help Yale with his problem too?

'I have heard that Yale couldn't control his power and almost killed people. No, I should say the fact that he almost killed people was scary because if he could control that power…' Albert soon understood why Bonkey mentioned the Bonk Bat.

"Yale… Do you trust me?" Albert asked with a serious tone.

"We met only a week ago, but yes… I trust you." Yale nodded while glaring at the couple. He struggled to get up as he planned to deal with them in order to protect Albert.

"No matter what, don't ask things and just do what you need to do." Albert took a deep breath and said, "If you agree to be my student, I will show you my true power. The one thing that you desire the most."

"What I desire the most…" Yale muttered.

"If you agree, just believe in it and imagine that my bat will appear in your hand. And go do your thing…" Albert smiled while closing his eyes.

Yale closed his eyes for a few seconds as he faced the dilemma in his heart.

However, Albert soon saw the thing he had been waiting for.

[Yale has accepted you as his teacher and officially become the first Bonk Officer.]

[Granting the power of Bonk to the officer.]

[Bonk Bat is usable.]

Suddenly, he felt a presence on his palm as he gripped it.

"This is…" Yale widened his eyes as he felt something different from the bat. "I feel like my power is getting sucked into this bat…"

Yale widened his eyes when he saw the golden light come out of his hand and cover the bat. But it was even more shocking when the black flame enveloped the white light before they spun around, creating a spiral that looked like a tornado of white and black flame.

The spiral covered the bat completely as though it was in harmony. For the first time in his life, Yale felt that he could control both of these powers at the same time.

"This bat…" Yale widened his eyes before he subconsciously smiled. He waved his bat down, creating a small gale to the surroundings.

With an excited smile on his face, Yale walked toward the man and laughed. "Hahaha!"

"What are you laughing at?" The woman gritted her teeth while the guy raised his hands as if preparing to strike him.

"What am I laughing at?" Yale smirked as he released more of his light and darkness power into his bat to the point it started generating extraordinary pressure.

He remembered when the woman actually broke the engagement and ridiculed him. It just fueled his power even more to the point she took a step back, feeling the oppression from the Bat. "What is this power…"

"What am I laughing at?" Yale repeated the question as he stepped forward. His eyes were filled with anger as he raised his bat. "I'm laughing at…

…your ignorance."
