Chapter 224: Teleportation Hall
The last time Zhao Kai remembered, Xu Feng didn't even qualify to equip a level 5 weapon.
Yet in the blink of an eye, Xu Feng announced that he was going to enter a city.
How could he not be alarmed?
'I'm only at level 9 after completing the mission, so how did Feng level up?' Zhao Kai exclaimed inwardly, feeling overwhelmed and shocked.
Although he didn't pay much attention in the forum, having immersed himself in the mission and training, he was sure the mainstream players were only a little bit over 10 or 11.
And to enter a city, one must be level 15 at the very minimum. Otherwise, they won't be qualified to teleport to the city, even if they have the funding to pay for the cost.
Meanwhile, Xu Feng didn't bother explaining the details. There was no need for him to know about his methods either.
"Anyway, just help me inform Fiona that I'll be in the city and might not be going to her blacksmith soon." Xu Feng calmly said.
"Heh, I doubt she would even bother." Zhao Kai scratched his head and smiled sheepishly. "Ever since she accepted your request, she had been hammering constantly. Not even her father was given much attention when he had returned."
"Eh? How perceptive of you?"
"Perceptive my ass. I nearly got killed by her father, who believed I was the cause of Fiona's lack of affection toward him."
"Hahaha, I see… Well, good luck gaining favorability with them. They are going to be valuable. Oh, I might create a guild soon."
"What kind of guild—" Before Zhao Kai could even finish his sentence, Xu Feng had already disconnected the video call.
With his brows furrowed, Zhao Kai took a deep breath before clenching his fist.
"MOTHERFUCKER!!!!" He roared in fury, unable to believe that Xu Feng had really just said his piece and gave him zero response.
However, that was only the beginning of his plight when he felt a sense of danger looming from behind.
"Who did you just call a motherfucker, Adventurer Shadow Blade?"
'Shit…' Zhao Kai swallowed a mouthful of saliva nervously as he slowly turned around, only to see a menacing smile on their face. The person was none other than Fiona's father, Thorin.
Currently, he was tasked with dismantling the Pyrite Drake corpses in a spacious room by Thorin, he wanted to lessen the workload of his daughter.
Naturally, he was displeased in the beginning since he had no experience, but Thorin still gave him a small lecture and demonstration on how to do it.
Afterward, he was left all along with a pile of Pyrite Drake corpses, but never did he imagine the small video call he had with Xu Feng would result in such a coincidence.
"N-No Sir, I was not cursing at you." Zhao Kai stutteringly said, feeling suffocated by the intense pressure emitted by Thorin.
"Oh really?" Unamused, Thorin glanced around the spacious room, finding no one else but him alone. "There's no one else here, but I kept hearing you call my name, especially that part regarding how my daughter was giving me the cold shoulder."
"..."
At this moment, Zhao Kai wanted nothing more than to punch Xu Feng in the face for the predicament he landed in.
"S-Sir, I can explain—"
Unfortunately for Zhao Kai, his luck seemingly ran out as Thorin gave him a round of beating. There was only the occasional sound of painful cries, whereas, in the lobby, Fiona continued to hum in joy, hammering on the anvil.
While Zhao Kai was suffering, Xu Feng arrived at the Teleportation Hall near the platform.
Most players were using the platform to teleport back and forth whereas the Teleportation Hall was the building where people were in charge of the teleportation's functionality.
To simplify, they are the administrators and the people responsible for the process.
"Halt, this is a restricted area." One of the guards by the entrance of the administrator's office warned.
With a simple detection, the guard could tell Xu Feng was level 10, completely unqualified to enter. The only reason why people would come here was to get permission to teleport to cities, so the guards were rather swift in denying him.
As for his noble status rank, it won't help, considering the restriction was in place to ensure unqualified people wouldn't die by heading to higher areas.
In fact, his noble status served as a detrimental factor, given that the guards would be foolish to allow a noble to enter an area that was out of their league.

However, Xu Feng had no intention of using his Baron status either as he retrieved the city token that Sandy had given to him previously.
"Am I not allowed with this token?" Xu Feng calmly replied, showing the city token to the guards.
When the guards noticed the token, they promptly took it and gave a thorough inspection.
"This is an authentic city token," the guard mumbled before waving his hands, signaling for his companion to move aside, essentially granting entry to Xu Feng.
Shortly after returning the city token to Xu Feng, he entered the office, where the administrator was busy with documentation.
Before Xu Feng could even announce his arrival, the administrator softly said, "You must have been the youth that the mayors are talking about. Just put your city token down and tell me the city that you wish to teleport to. The map is over there on the right side, so take your time to choose wisely."
The administrator went straight to business, clearly unwilling to waste his time idle chatting.
Naturally, Xu Feng was equally pleased with the behavior as he swiftly replied, "I have decided on the city to teleport to, administrator. It's Star Falls City."
The pen in the administrator paused, his chin lifting up as the administrator finally took a glance at Xu Feng.
"Are you sure you want to choose Star Falls City? That city's population hasn't been great lately because of the natural disaster." He questioned, almost astonished by his choice of city.
