Reverend Insanity: The Gacha System

Chapter 16: Domain Expansion

"I created some killer moves with the Reality Path, like Domain Expansion from Jujutsu Kaisen. This was created after I attained Master Space Path Attainment, which helped me refine the Reality Domain Gu using the items I got from the Gacha," Li Tianhuan mused.

"The killer move Domain Expansion Manovolent Shrine, when activated, the domain transforms the surrounding area into a hellish battlefield, resembling Sukuna's Malevolent Shrine. Jagged red-black stone pillars rise ominously from the ground, creating an oppressive and menacing atmosphere.

Using the Reality Fragment Gu, hundreds of light swords materialize in mid-air, hovering with deadly precision. These swords, amplified by the domain's power, possess enhanced durability and lethality, each strike equating to the force of a Rank 2 Gu Master's attack but amplified to nearly Rank 3 potency. (Based on the rank of the Gu, like Reality Fragment Gu is Rank 2 so its power is only Rank 2.)

The Multi-Blood Mark Gu locks onto multiple targets, marking them with glowing red sigils that ensure the swords home in relentlessly, curving and striking with unerring precision. This combination creates an overwhelming barrage, leaving enemies with no room for escape.

The Reality Fragment Gu further allows Li Tianhuan to manipulate the terrain mid-combat, forming walls, spikes, or traps that force opponents into concentrated kill zones. Illusionary terrain features are converted into tangible obstacles, turning even the most basic deception into an unavoidable hazard.

The entire domain glows with a dark crimson hue, with the hovering swords and marked targets standing out starkly amidst the chaotic, blood-soaked battlefield.

Similarly, a Wisdom Path Gu could one day help me emulate Gojo's Infinite Void. But for now, Malevolent Shrine remains my first creation, as I lack a suitable Wisdom Path Gu worm."

Li Tian got up from the ground as he walked inside the house.

The kitchen was modest, yet functional, with a sturdy wooden stove at its center. The flickering flame from the stove added a warm glow to the space, casting shadows across the neatly arranged utensils and jars of spices. Li Tianhuan opened his inventory with a flick of his wrist, retrieving two fresh eggs, a handful of ground herbs, and a pinch of salt. "Perfect," he murmured, his lips curling into a faint smile.

He cracked the eggs with practiced ease, letting the golden yolks spill into a smooth clay bowl. With a deft hand, he whisked them into a frothy blend, adding a mixture of finely ground spices and a sprinkle of salt. The aroma of the spices already filled the air, promising a savory treat.

Placing a flat iron pan over the stove, he added a touch of oil and waited for it to heat. The moment the oil shimmered, he poured the egg mixture into the pan. The sizzling sound was music to his ears as the edges of the omelet began to curl and crisp. He tilted the pan expertly, ensuring an even cook before flipping it with a flick of his wrist. A perfectly golden omelet emerged, fragrant and enticing.

Sliding the omelet onto a wooden plate, Li Tianhuan carried it to a small wooden table by the window. He sat down, savoring the aroma of the spices as he took his first bite. The flavors burst across his palate, a harmonious blend of the herbs and the perfectly cooked eggs. Each bite was deliberate, a rare moment of peace amidst his otherwise hectic life. Once he finished his meal, he washed the plate and utensils carefully, ensuring everything was left spotless. After that he stored all the things in the inventory, "I can't just keep it in my home to showcase it to everyone." Drying his hands on a clean towel, he stepped out of the kitchen and went out out of the house.

They continued their light conversation as they walked through the village streets, the chatter blending with the distant sounds of bustling activity. Together, they entered the academy grounds.

Today was the year-end examination, a competition designed to test the students' abilities and rank their progress. The academy grounds were bustling with activity, with rows of benches set up along the sides for spectators. From young children to adults, the crowd had gathered to witness the display of talent. Mortals moved about, cleaning the floors and setting up the final arrangements.

Li Tianhuan and Yan Yueqing found their seats among their classmates, positioned on the lower benches closest to the examination grounds. The chatter of students and the murmurs of the crowd filled the air, blending with the occasional clatter of preparations.

Above the main seating area, a raised platform was set for the elders of the Yanxiao Clan. The prominent figures of the clan were all seated together, their presence adding gravity to the event. At the highest level, four elders sat with a commanding view of the arena. Among them was Yan Yueqing's grandfather, Yan Shu, who occupied the corner seat. His sharp gaze swept over the grounds with an air of quiet authority, a reflection of his revered status within the clan.

The other three elders on the platform were equally distinguished, their names spoken with respect: Elder Yun Mo, Elder Yan Xiu, the Academy Elder, and Elder Meng Ruo. These three and Yan Shu are Rank 5 experts. That's why they are seated on top and equal, there was no clan elder as there will be conflicts between each other but as they were ranked 5 they were together and decided not to conflict this was the story outside people or unintelligent people know.
