After reading the news Vale continue to search for other information in the net and other online platform.
Vale learn many things from places that have been quarantine to safe zone in his area where multiple people gather because of the presence of military.
The nearest one is a big collage surrounded by the military and police in the area blocking the surrounding with cars and trucks to keep the madman from entering the safe zone, it was also Vale's short term goal.
After finishing the information gathering from the web the sun already rising in the sky.
Vale ready himself to depart from this place but before that he should pick something from here, consider it as a payback for making his nightmare start here.
He 'borrowed' some backpack and food from the grocery store.
Vale is acting like he was the only person in the world, stealing and making ruckus.
He don't care if a madman or possessed individual heard him and come as he know he can handle it.
His personality of bold in the morning and frighten in the evening is showing.
As he scavenge for food.
A 4 pairs of eyes look at his direction .
They look at Vale's back in curiousity and and cautious eyes they move silently from his back gripping a mop ready to beat the shit of this scavenger.
"Corned beef or tuna flakes?"
Vale muttered, deep in thought on what to prioritize.
"Whatever I take them both and get more backpack later"
A second later he come into conclusion and decided to take them both and dill his backpack with it and other kind of food.
It's better to have them all than to chose just one, only a kid choose I chose them all.
Before he move to the other shelf he heard a group of people walking silently behind him he stop what his doing.
Then Vale's body turn around and grip his axe that is always besides him and swung it backwards.
Seeing the guy they wanted to take out suddenly move the leading guy who preparing to beat the guy with his mop froze in place.
He watch the world that seems to move slower as the guy he want to take down swung the axe from his side towards him.
The bloodied axe is closing towards his face at a speed his brain is aching to understand.
But the axe never land on his head and stop just an inch away from him.
The leading guy kneeled to the ground from fear feeling his legs so heavy for his body to handle.
He cannot help but peed in his pants and cry.

Damn he never have been terrified this much, as a janitor from this mall his life can only be called monotous with no life threatening whatsoever.
Now his head almost split apart from this axe in front of him.
In contrary of the reaction of the group, Vale was ecstatic!
He finally saw other people for the first time after this whole mess started.
Only Vale himself know how exited he was, even do he was introvert it doesn't mean he wanted to be alone.
He still want to be in a group of people even if he don't really like talking with them.
