Chapter 6: Chapter 6 : Chapter 6 The Unfolding Battle
"I'm very interested in your strength, how about you come and do things under my hand?"
"Haha, are you worthy of my allegiance?!" Kaito sneered at Obito.
Obito shrugged nonchalantly, his hands forming seals as a pair of sickles connected by chains materialized in his grasp.
"I have to remind you that I am the one who released the Nine Tails eight years ago and I am the one who killed the Fourth Hokage and his wife!", so don't underestimate me! Otherwise... you will die!"
With that, Obito crossed the two sickles into an 'X' and dashed towards Kaito with remarkable speed.
Kaito smiled viciously and rushed towards Obito at the same time. In a swift motion, he threw a kunai towards Obito's head, then formed seals with his left hand, condensing a small black sphere.
Obito, unfazed by the kunai, relied on his Kamui to evade the attack.
As Kaito's kunai passed harmlessly through Obito's head once more, Obito closed the distance between them, slashing at Kaito's waist with the sickle in his hand.
"It's my victory!" Obito grinned triumphantly as the sickle left two deep gashes on Kaito's body. "That's the price of underestimating me!"
But just as Obito's sickle was about to pierce Kaito's body, Kaito disappeared in an instant, his voice echoing from above.
"No, you're wrong! I've won!"
"Rasengan!"
Kaito shouted, slamming the small black sphere into Obito's head. As the sphere made contact, Obito's right eye transformed into the Mangekyo Sharingan.
In the next moment, Kaito teleported a hundred meters away to a nearby cave entrance.
A blinding light erupted from the impact point between Kaito and Obito, engulfing an area nearly a hundred meters in diameter. When the light subsided, all that remained was a massive crater where the ground had been obliterated.
Kaito scanned the area, cautious despite the devastation.
"Ha ha ha ha..."
"You bloody bastard, you almost got me!"
Obito glared at Kaito, clearly angered by the attack.
Kaito remained on guard, watching Obito closely. The confrontation had taken a toll on both of them, but neither was willing to back down.
