RV Survival: I have a 100x amplification system

Chapter 14: The Struggling Sisters

After the lunch break, Su Chen woke up groggily.

[You have a new message waiting.]

"Who sent it?"

Opening his friend list, Jiang Susu's name was right at the top.

Su Chen looked confused. "What could she possibly want from me?"

---

Su Chen wasn't surprised that Jiang Susu had messaged him.

On the one hand, she wasn't the type to chat idly.

On the other hand, she must have gotten her hands on something she wanted to trade.

She had always been straightforward and businesslike.

Looking at her profile picture, which was just a frontal shot, she gave off an aura of unapproachability—likely the type of woman who was very assertive in daily life.

In short, a "strong independent woman."

---

"Does she have feelings for me?" Su Chen wondered.

"If not, why would she go as far as to set up a fan support group for me?"

...

Lost in thought, Su Chen didn't realize it until

Er Bao, his pet, tapped him with its paw. Only then did he snap out of it.

Er Bao frowned and looked at him.

"Master, why are you daydreaming? Did you overeat?"

Su Chen understood what it was saying.

"No, I was just thinking about something."

He almost forgot to reply to her message.

Hurriedly, he typed: [What is it?]

---

[It's a small box, but it's very useful. It might help you.]

Su Chen thought about it. This box probably wasn't something dug up; it was likely obtained from opening a blind box.

[What's its function?]

He waited a long time for a reply, but none came. Something might have happened on her end.

---

Su Chen decided to pack up the barbecue grill, clean it briefly, and stuff it into the RV's trunk.

"It's really hard to fit all this in. This RV is just so small."

But the amount of food Su Chen had on hand was already quite substantial.

Even the 20-liter bottle of cola was enough to fill the car to capacity.

"Sigh, I need to find a way to store all this food."

At this moment, Jiang Susu finally sent another message.

[It's a small storage space that has both a freezer and a regular temperature compartment.]

Su Chen was visibly excited.

[Really?]

This was exactly what he needed.

[I thought you might have too much stuff, so I wanted to ask if you needed it.]

Su Chen was touched by her thoughtfulness.

He quickly replied: [What do you need in exchange?]

---

It wasn't long before he received several messages.

[Boss, my sister and I are stuck in a barren desert. There's nothing here, and we haven't eaten in a day. We're hoping you can spare us some food. If possible, some fuel too, so we can get moving. Thank you.]

---

Surviving alone in this world was already a challenge, let alone for two women who couldn't even fend off a chicken.

If Su Chen didn't have a system, he might not be any better off than them.

This was something he needed anyway, so he decided to send over some of his supplies: dry bread, grilled skewers, slices of meat, and, most importantly, purified water.

He gave away more than half of what he had.

He even added, [I also came across some women's clothing today; I'll send those over as well.]

---

The 10-cubic-meter storage box was immensely helpful.

Su Chen immediately chose to upgrade it.

[Ding! Congratulations, Host! Upgrade successful. You've obtained a 100-cubic-meter luxury storage box.]

[Luxury Storage Box User Guide:

This is a magical box with two compartments:

1. Regular Temperature Compartment and Freezer (40 cubic meters):

Place food in the freezer to keep it fresh, ensuring it always tastes its best.

The regular temperature compartment can store items that don't require freezing, as well as tools or other belongings.

2. Private Room (60 cubic meters):

A small room where you can do anything—light a fire, make tools, or even use it as your secret relaxation spot.

There's no limit to what you can do with it.]

---

Su Chen realized he had been overthinking things. Every time Jiang Susu contacted him, it was always for something important.

---

Perspective shift.

In a desolate wilderness, barren and overgrown with weeds, there was only deathly silence.

Occasionally, a few crows let out unpleasant cries.

A pink RV was parked at a crossroads.

Next to the vehicle lay two beautiful women with slender figures.

They looked utterly exhausted, unable to muster the strength to search for food.

---

"Sis, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have insisted on taking that route. Now we're stuck, and there's no way back…"

Jiang Cancan's face was pale, her lips purple. She murmured incoherently, her voice trembling.

"Sob… Help! Is anyone out there?"

No matter how loudly she screamed, it was useless. In this vast world, people were sparse.

Encountering another human felt like a miracle.

---

"Sis, we've been searching all day and only found an empty box. Does anyone even want this? I just hope we can trade it for some food—I'm starving."

Jiang Susu, busy negotiating with Su Chen about the storage box, didn't have time to respond to her sister's complaints.

"Don't worry, just hold on a little longer. We'll have food soon," Jiang Susu reassured her.

---

Once she received the food from Su Chen, Jiang Susu immediately brought it over to her sister.

She handed Jiang Cancan a bottle of purified water and a pack of dry bread.

She also planned to start a fire to cook the slices of meat and skewers. Such things couldn't be eaten raw; they had to be properly prepared.

When Jiang Cancan saw the water and dry bread, her eyes lit up.

She grabbed them eagerly and devoured them without pause.

Having gone an entire day without eating, her ravenous state was understandable.

---

Jiang Susu, however, remained composed. She opened a pack of dry bread and began eating it slowly.

"This bread tastes so much better than the ones I've had before," she thought to herself.

"Could it be that even the bread Boss gets is of higher quality?"

"Slow down, sis. Don't choke," Jiang Susu reminded her kindly.

Her sister, however, was as carefree as ever, always making people worry.

---

Though they were twins and looked nearly identical, their personalities were worlds apart.

The older sister was calm and composed, while the younger sister was lively and carefree.

---

After Jiang Susu cooked the meat and skewers, she handed them to Jiang Cancan.

Taking a skewer, Jiang Cancan exclaimed excitedly, "Sis, where did you get this food?"

Jiang Susu smiled. "Didn't we set up a fan support group? It's from that Boss we're supporting. Now hurry up and eat. We also have some fuel. Let's get out of here today."

"That's amazing!"

---

Previously, Jiang Cancan didn't understand why her sister had gone out of her way to create a fan group.

But today, seeing so much food, she was overjoyed.

Eating high-energy food gave her the strength to work hard again.

Jiang Cancan stood up, intending to drive herself this time.

"Sis, you've been driving for so long. You must be tired."

Driving too long was exhausting, after all.

---

As she was about to get into the car, she noticed something.

"Wait… Why are there women's clothes? A dress?" Jiang Cancan's face instantly turned red.

Jiang Susu quickly grabbed the clothes and stammered, "Don't worry about it! Let's just get going!"
