It was another blossoming day full of wonderful experience for the young child who spent the entire day and night snoring loudly from fatigue while lying on his bed. Yuta was horrified by his own bodily fluids whenp he woke up to see himself drooling all over the bed.
He did his usual morning routine and brushed his mouth before going to the living room seeing the old man drinking his morning black coffee. He waved at him and located a couch close to him, picking up the remote controller. He turned on the TV to the news station and watched for a while but nothing piqued his interest.
"Old man, I heard a student of yours who learnt martial arts is now a pro hero. Is that true?" Yuta was curious but he got no reply as the old man continued sipping his coffee. The old man let out a sigh and turned his gaze to Yuta who was staring back at him with a smile on his face.
"Don't you know it's wrong for a kid to interrupt an old man sipping his coffee in peace?" The old man tried to change the topic but Yuta still insisted on hearing if it's true or false.
"I'm sorry. So can you tell me the name of the hero you trained?" Yuta was curious to know what kind of person he is and what type of quirk he or she possessed.
"His name is Gunhead. I trained him when he was a kid just like you but after he left, he went and pursued his dream which was to be a hero and he did. He became a pro hero and I haven't heard from him since he became a hero." The old man recalled the olden days when he trained a young boy who was determined to become a pro hero.
'A scum he truly is if he won't check up on his sensei…I'm gonna run a quick check on him on the net and if I see he's one of those fake heroes ...then I'll illuminate him for sure.' "That's great to know." Yuta pulled a fake smile on his face.
"Old man, Isshin will be here to pick me up any moment from now, so won't you tell me your name?" Yuta decided to ask.
"Nishinoya." The old man spoke his name and walked away.
"Nishinoya, huh. That's a nice name, Nishinoya sensei." Yuta spoke and thanked the old man for the care and training for a whole year.
"I hope to see you again soon, Yuta. You've a lot to learn from me." Nishinoya smiled while waving to Yuta. Yuta got a call from Isshin that he would be there in a minute's time as he went back to his bedroom and got his luggages ready to leave.
*Knock*
Yuta ran to the door and hugged Isshin as he hadn't seen him in a while. Isshin let loose on Yuta and entered the house, looking around since he was unable to locate Nishinoya. He first went to the refrigerator and drank a cold bottle of water, gulping it down to his stomach.. He turned back to his little student and asked.
"Where is the fucking old man?"
"He went back to his bedroom to rest."
"So that motherfucker knew I'll be here any moment and went back to his room not to see me off?"
"Is that true?"
"Well, nevermind. I'll pay him a visit with my fist."
Isshin couldn't hold his temper anymore as he barged into the old man's room with his clenched fist.
"Nishinoya!!" Isshin was furious seeing his old man on the bed cleaning his fingers. Isshin charged at him with his clenched fist and landed a clean blow on the chick of the old man.
"Why won't you see us off?" The old man rose off the floor and reclined on his bed, ignoring Isshin, who was annoyed.. "I'm off."
Isshin walked out of Nishinoya's room as Yuta followed him and exited the house. They walked down to the road and took a taxi to the train station and boarded the train for a few hours. They got to their stop and exited the train.
"I hope we meet again, Yuta." Isshin waved with a smile and turned his back ready to depart to his dojo since Yuta can find his way home from this point.
"Huh? What are you saying, Isshin? I'll be coming to your dojo every now and then to train with you." Yuta was pleased.
"Really? Then you're welcome at any time." Yuta followed Isshin to the dojo as he was welcomed by the kids and they exchanged some conversation as Yuta made his way out and went home.
'Home finally.' Yuta smiled as he opened the door and made his way inside, gazing all around as he noticed some things had changed within a year he was out for his little adventure.
"Mom! I'm back. I'll go take a quick bath and get back to you." Yuta screamed as he approached his bedroom upstairs.
"Welcome home, Yuta!" The mom exclaimed from her bedroom as she rushed down to the kitchen to prepare a meal for her son who was not at home for a year.
Yuta whistled as he saw his room was properly tidy up by his mom and quickly took off his clothes and took his time. "Nothing feels like having a long nice bath." He muttered to himself and wore a black short with a sleeveless t-shirt.
He rushed downstairs as his nose piqued a decent scent coming from the kitchen. Yuta sat down as his stomach grumbled from hunger. His mom dished the food to him as he rushed it flashily and asked for a second. "Eat up." His mom was amazed seeing her son after a whole year.
"Ahhh, I'm filled up." Yuta couldn't stand up from his seated position as he enjoyed eating his mother's meal for a longtime. "Mom, you're the best." Yuta chuckled with joy.
"I'm glad you took your time and enjoyed your meal." His mother was pleased. "So how was your one year training adventure?" The mom was curious to know how her son was doing.
"It was amazing."
"Really?"
"Yes, mom. I was trained to get past my limit everyday and I managed to land a decisive attack on Nishinoya sensei after months of trying."
"You were? That alone has shown me how strong you are."
"Really? But I can't say I'm strong enough to be the strongest since I've got a long way to go."
"I don't know what's your drive to be the strongest but if that's your dream to be the strongest hero, then I'll cheer for you."
"Hero? I despise weak and fake heroes. Don't get the wrong idea mom. I'll become my own hero so I need to be the strongest if I have to."
"Huh? Did I hear you wrong? Did you just say you despise heroes?"
"Yes, mom. I despise fake heroes and I'll be a real hero so you don't have to worry."
"Don't make me have a heart attack with that joke of yours. So, if you want to be your own hero then you should've enrolled yourself into any hero school or probably U.A, since it's the best hero school."
"Huh? I won't be going to any hero school since it won't stop me from being my own hero."
"Then, how will you be able to be your own hero if you won't be going to any hero school?"
'She probably got the wrong idea.' "Mom, you don't have to worry. I'll be okay."
"Goodluck anyways. I'll be cheering for you when you become a brave hero."
"Okay, mom." Yuta stood up from the dining table and gave his mother a hug and headed back to his bedroom.
Yuta entered his room and locked the door as he collapsed into his bed. 'She probably got the wrong idea.' He thought as he laid on his bed.
