Shadow Slave: The Holy Emperor

Keter woke up as the dark sea began to recede. 'Already? I feel like I've only slept an hour.' Keter stood up, summoning his map. He then looked towards where he knew Nephis and Cassie were. 'I need to give them a signal.' Keter used a Miricle to enhance his eyes to pinpoint exactly where they were. Keter frowns as he finds them 'They don't look very good. Is there any way I could tell them where I am?' Keter starts to consider his options. 'The range of my Miracles is nowhere near far enough to do anything with that. Wait didn't Nephis notice my gaze before, since both of our Aspects are holy related? Could she notice me from this distance if I flair it? I might as well try.'

Keter began to pour as much power into Miricle as he could, focusing it all into his eyes. Keter focused all of his intent on Nephis, making it so that even if just for a second she became the only thing he could comprehend.

--Nephis POV--

Nephis was trying her best to stay conscious after the hell that was last night. 'We will need to rest for the rest of the day, till I'm in fighting condition.' Nephis grabbed [Endless Spring] from Cassie's hand and greedily drank from it. 'Light is the enemy during the night, how unfortunate.' Nephis suddenly felt her core tremble before the world was consumed by intent. The light around her grew brighter, the shadows grew deeper and more agitated. She felt killing intent, desperation, adoration, and countless more emotions crash into her. 'Keter' Nephis concluded quite easily, recognizing the bloodlust from their spars. Even against the crashing waves of intent, Nephis's clarity held strong, and completely unmoving.

'It's gone' Nephis noted, the intent disappearing mere moments after it appeared. 'He's nearby' 

"We will be staying nearby for a few days," Nephis told Cassie giving her no room for argument. Cassie merely nods albeit a little confused on why.

--Keter POV--

Keter flinched as he felt something carving into his back. 'That damn feelings back. Well, at least I know for sure that Miricle is what's causing it.' Keter began to climb down the statue. 'I hope Nephis noticed.'

Keter looked up to the sky seeing the sun reach its climax he decided it was a good idea to begin heading back. 'I've mapped out a good chunk more, but it will still probably take 4 to 5 more days to find them. To make it worse the Scavengers will finish the corpse mid-tommarow if my guess is correct.' Keter jumped up slightly to avoid a Scavenger jumping out of the sand. 'It's not like I can't handle Savengers, but without a sword, I most definitely won't be able to keep up with their numbers.' Keter grabbed the Scavenger's shell and ripped it off with explosive force.

'It takes a lot of energy to deal with them, but it seems like my main problem is now solved' Keter summons the sabre along with its runes. 'It's not to bad at least, I like slashing far more than thrusting. Also more Azure weapons?'

Keter stares at the description momentarily then turns away dismissing the runes. 'That is certainly interesting, more lore after all.' The sabre was forged out of Azure steel with a long intricate pattern across it. 'It's a Scandinavian sabre.' Keter could tell quite easily. 'This will solve the main problem, but also should I hunt during the night? I did quite well last time, but it won't always be like that. One mistake is all it takes.'

Keter ponders as he gets closer to the statute. 'I can always run, I learned underwater combat in the academy after all. So it's not like I'm helpless, I will also get better along the way. But I want to mainly because of the fragments and that I can probably use it to evolve [Untainted Faith].' Keter began to climb up the statue. '[untainted] evolved into [Untainted Faith] after my faith was forced to cross a threshold, being constantly surrounded by the corruption of a Great Titan should be well more than enough. 

As the dark Sea rose once more Keter shivered a little. 'Well let's get this started.' Keter braised his sabre as he jumped into the dark sea.

Keter was covered in an azure glow from his armor as he walked across the sand covered head to toe in blood. 'I need to find another weapon soon but that won't be much of a problem especially since I'm about to have Nephis's help.' Keter turned a corner and sighed in relief as he finally found them. 'God finally that took even longer than I thought it would, eleven days total I believe.' Keter waved at them as a smile crept onto his face.
