Chapter 33: You Have a New Message, Please Check!

However, with Katsuragi's presence, Hinata obviously wouldn't have any further intersections with Naruto, especially since Naruto was deeply afflicted by his 'curse' and was doomed never to have a girlfriend again, Katsuragi maliciously thought to himself.

"Congratulations, Hinata. Does she have a name yet?"

"Yes!" Hinata nodded happily, "Father said we should call her Hanabi, Hyuga Hanabi!"

"That's a beautiful name!" Katsuragi smiled in agreement, feeling somewhat relieved internally. So far, apart from his dealings with Hinata, which differed slightly from the original story, everything else was about the same.

Well, at least there's nothing like Naruto turning into Naruko, and although Sasuke hasn't appeared yet, there probably won't be anything like Sasuko either!

"Katsuragi, let me take you to see her!" Perhaps because she now had a sister, Hinata was exceptionally cheerful today, grabbing Katsuragi's hand and leading him to see Hyuga Hanabi.

As they arrived at Hiashi's room, Katsuragi saw Hiashi's face filled with happiness. It had been a long time since he had seen Hiashi so relaxed and happy.

"You're here!"

Hiashi greeted Katsuragi and Hinata with a smile.

"Hiashi-sama!" Katsuragi greeted back and then watched Hiashi carefully holding the baby, thinking to himself how even the most dignified people show a different side in front of their newborn family members.

"Father, is Hanabi asleep?"

Hinata released Katsuragi's hand and tiptoed to look into Hiashi's arms, careful not to disturb Hanabi, her voice unusually gentle.

"Not yet!"

Seeing Hinata's careful look, Hiashi sat down, allowing both Hinata and Katsuragi to see Hanabi, saying happily, "Hinata, you'll have to try hard to be a good role model for your sister!"

"Yes, Father!" Hinata earnestly nodded, looking determined to do her best.

"Alright, let her rest now. You two take the day off and go have fun!" Perhaps as a doting father, Hiashi didn't want Katsuragi and Hinata to disturb his time with his second daughter, so he generously gave them a day off.

Although Hinata seemed reluctant, with Katsuragi's help, Hiashi managed to have some time alone in the room to cherish his second daughter.

As they left, seeing Hiashi still happily playing with Hanabi, a similarly perverse lolicon thought to himself, "What a daughter-con!"

Time flies quickly in the peaceful and stable village of Konoha. Before you know it, another three months have passed. Neji successfully graduated from the first year of the Ninja Academy as the top of his class and was promoted to the second year, though he still couldn't beat Katsuragi!

It was June again, and Katsuragi remembered the time he first came to the Ninja Academy to drop Neji off. Now it was his own time to attend.

Because of the great burden that is Naruto, Katsuragi didn't enroll with Hinata. Although he could ignore it for himself, he didn't want Hinata to be disliked because of Naruto.

Ever since he started interacting with Naruto, it began with the neighbors advising him, and then strangely enough, even passersby began to instruct him. Katsuragi didn't take it to heart and continued as he wished, which led to some people in the village disliking him as well.

All in all, Katsuragi had been dragged down quite a bit because of Naruto.

"Katsuragi, do you think we could end up in the same class?" At the school entrance, Naruto looked nervously at Katsuragi. If it weren't for Katsuragi being there with him, he really didn't know what he would do.

"Don't worry! We definitely will!" Katsuragi responded reluctantly. He didn't believe the Third Hokage hadn't made arrangements, and according to the original story, the people Naruto came into contact with were all from major families of Konoha.

"Phew! That's good!"

Naruto finally relaxed, always admiring Katsuragi and never doubting his words.

As they went to handle the enrollment procedures, Katsuragi noticed the staff member pause when he saw them, then without saying much, efficiently processed their paperwork, making Katsuragi somewhat grateful: It's good to have someone!

However, the moment he officially became a student of the Ninja Academy, several new messages suddenly appeared in Katsuragi's courtyard, causing him to freeze in place.

"Mission: The Ninja Path!"

"Bounty Seal Upgrade! (Unlocks after completing the mission)"

"What the heck!" Katsuragi glanced at Naruto beside him, wishing he could immediately enter the courtyard to thoroughly check what was happening.

Then he quickly looked down at the class roster and, finding their room, pulled Naruto along to find a quiet place. He planned to find a secure spot first to check out what exactly was going on in the courtyard.

"Katsuragi!"

Just then, Katsuragi heard a faint call and looked in the direction of the voice to see Hinata, quickly walking over with Naruto, "Hinata, did you find the classroom?"

"Yes!" Hinata obediently nodded, pointing in a direction, "It's over there!"

"Alright! Let's go together!" Katsuragi agreed and then immediately left Naruto behind, making a 'don't disturb us' face, and took Hinata's hand to head to the classroom.

When they arrived, the classroom was already filled with many students. Katsuragi scanned the room and recognized several familiar faces.

The one with the Uchiha fan on his clothes and a cool expression, Uchiha Itachi; Shikamaru Nara, already displaying signs of laziness at such a young age; and Choji Akimichi, continuously stuffing chips into his mouth.

However, Katsuragi had no interest in dealing with them right now. After finding seats for himself and Hinata in an empty spot, he turned to her and said, "Hinata, I'm feeling a bit unwell. I'll rest for a bit. Call me if anything happens!"

"Are you alright, Katsuragi?" Hearing Katsuragi mention he was unwell, Hinata immediately showed a worried expression, "Should we go to the hospital to check?"

"No, it's nothing! Just didn't rest well last night. Let me sleep for a bit!" Katsuragi reassured her, shaking his head. He was just eager to check the messages in the courtyard.

"Okay! Then you sleep. I'll call you when the teacher comes," Hinata agreed softly and sat beside Katsuragi, ready to guard him from being disturbed.

Katsuragi nodded, then laid his head on the desk. His mind shifted, and in an instant, he was in the courtyard. He first checked the bounty seal, as it was his main source of coins.

But where there used to be task details, now there was nothing but darkness, causing him to frown. Lacking this major source of coins, how was he supposed to earn coins now?

"Tasks, there are still tasks!"

However, Katsuragi didn't dwell on it too much. He felt the information again, which clearly stated that it would reopen after completing the mission. So now, he needed to figure out what this mission was all about.
