- I-I'm not drunk and I can walk on my own! - Betty screamed in my ear, literally hanging around my neck.

- Then at least stop dragging your feet! - Having already lost several litres of water and completely sweating, I was beginning to regret asking Brant for help rather than trusting Silver and Yuriko.

The problematic one was not only drunk, but also sang on the bus, which got us kicked off. And, as it happens, public transport runs a lot less at night. So I have to carry Betty on my back.

How many times when I've come across a dark alley with a bunch of newspapers next to it, I've had the irresistible urge to solve the situation by a much less energy-consuming method....

- Peter! Peter! - especially when Betty starts shouting in my ear.

- What?!

- Oh. Don't scream, I have a headache. - and I'm not going clubbing again! - Did you know you have a funny name? I mean, Peter Parker, doesn't that sound weird? Your first name starts with a 'P,' your last name--

- Yeah, my name is weird. Betty Brant is so different.

- Huh? What are you talking about? Neither my first name nor my last name starts with a 'P', silly~

I'd already beat my forehead off from talking to drunk Brant, but my hands are unfortunately occupied with her unconscious body.

.....

Eventually we somehow managed to waddle to the Brant family's flat. I don't think I've ever had a backache like this, not even after a night with Silver and Yuriko.

- Can you make it from here? - I asked Betty at the doorway with a great deal of disbelief.

- Es-este-esvesve-.... Of course! - To which she saluted with closed eyes and a drunken smile.

The door closed, Betty stepped inside and no sooner had I taken a step than.....

- Awww. - there was a pop. - Petey, I fell! - followed by a pitiful scream.

After fifteen minutes of Brant trying to open the door for me, she succeeded. But getting up from the floor of the stairwell didn't work.

.....

Why the hell did people invent buildings with more than three floors? Or rather, why the hell do the lifts not work in such buildings?!

Anyway, dragging Betty's drunken body up to the ninth floor... I'm not gonna say anything about dropping her on the way. The important thing is that I was able to get her up there alive and-- Just alive.

- Petey, where did I break my knee?

- ... - No one's ever died from a broken knee. Therefore, no one has the right to judge me.

- Oh. I guess that's what happens to them when a girl gives a blow job. That's why all those jokes. - with a drunken smile, Betty made up a theory that made me afraid she'd hit her head on the railing.

For, firstly, Betty hadn't given me a blow job, and I doubt her gag reflexes could handle it. Secondly, I can't imagine what it would take to break my knees in blood.

- Petey, there's my flat. - as soon as I put Betty at the door, she started lurching towards the stairs. See, it's not my fault - it's gravity!

- Haa. - realising it was useless to ask her if she could handle herself. I reached into Betty's purse to find the keys to the flat.

Half an hour later, I was ready to give up, for the contents inside were too much and with each new attempt the number of items seemed only to grow. However, about fifteen minutes later, I found the keys and let Betty into the flat.

- Just a shhhh... Mum and Dad are asleep... And I don't want them to see me in this state and in the company of a bloke.... I don't even want to think what they might think. - could it be worse than drunken unprotected sex in a club toilet?

- Well, where have you been, young lady! - but contrary to Betty's expectations, her mum literally leapt out of the bedroom, apparently without going to bed.

- Oh, Mum, hello! - Betty's mum turned her daughter's happily drunken face into my sober and tired one. But before I could think of a decent lie, Betty opened her mouth. - It's Peter, he took my virginity today!

The atmosphere dropped dramatically. Betty's mother's gaze turned sharply cold. Everything in my trousers clenched sharply.

- 'Mum, don't worry, he's wearing a rubber-oh, ha ha ha, we didn't seem to be using protection, did we? - And it seemed like it couldn't get any worse, Betty opened her mouth again.....

.....

- Awww. - I ended up at the bus stop with a bump on my head.

When Betty's mum freaked out, she started throwing everything she could get her hands on, from books from the cupboard to picture frames from the wall. At the noise ran out, woke up father, and from his look understood one thing .... I shouldn't stay any longer.

In general, running down the stairs, I was able to tear myself away from a middle-aged man in pants and a dressing gown, who despite his attire was quite frightening.

- So much for no-strings-attached sex. - well, no strings attached doesn't mean no problems.

Well, the important thing is that Betty gave me the number. So now I just need to get myself home and get in touch with A- tomorrow.

- It's been a while. - while I was thinking about the future, a familiar voice suddenly sounded.

- Oh, you? - As I turned around, my bedfellow stood in front of me in the lights of the New York night....
