Peter was currently in his apartment, taking a shower to relieve some of the exhaustion from his body.
The whole situation felt surreal to him; he didn't believe it was real. He couldn't believe he had finally mustered the courage to set the suit aside.
For years, he had thought about it but never had the courage or determination to let go of his alter ego. As much as he hated to admit it, the crazy mercenary had given him some convincing arguments-a surprising thing to expect from Wade.
But he noticed that as soon as he decided to put the suit aside and focus on himself, things began to fall into place and he managed to correct some mistakes.
Especially with Felicia.
"I still can't believe that proud woman cried in front of me and did all that just to make me jealous."
Peter sighed as the shower water ran over his head, though a small smile could be seen on his face.
Not long ago, Felicia had left for her place to grab her things to come live with him.
That was another thing he hadn't expected her to do, especially considering her luxurious apartment compared to his much smaller one.
But she had said she wanted to get to know the man behind the mask, and she couldn't do that while living away from him.
Peter felt strange about it and thought things were moving quickly. He noticed her enthusiasm about moving in, but he wasn't complaining.
He wished, just once, that the world would work with him, not against him, and that he could succeed in this relationship without repeating past mistakes or having it turn toxic again.
Running his hand through his slightly long hair, water cascading down his face, he sighed. "I don't think I could handle having my heart broken again. I hope I won't regret this decision."
Peter turned off the shower, ready to step out of the bathtub. But before he could, the bathroom door burst open, making him scream and cover himself.
"Ahhhh! Damn it, Wade! What are you doing here, and how did you even get in?" Peter snapped, glaring at Deadpool, who had barged into the bathroom.
Wade looked at Peter, clasped his hands, and exclaimed, "Ahhh, my dream has come true! You're even better than I imagined, and those spider-buns are larger!" The man in red and black fell into a trance.
Peter quickly left the bathroom, ignoring the man lying at the entrance, and went to his room to get dressed.
Once he was dressed, he returned to the bathroom and dragged Wade to the living room, slapping him twice to wake him up.
"Oh, Spidey, you won't believe the dream I had! It was the best dream ever-other than the one where my dad came back with a carton of milk. You were showering naked, and I walked in..."
Before he could finish, Peter interrupted, "Geez, Wade, just shut up. What do you want?"
Wade stopped narrating what he thought was a dream. "Well, the author sent me here for something very important."
Peter put his hands on his temples. "Wade, you were the one who convinced me to stop being Spider-Man. If you're looking for his help, I'm retired-you know that."
Wade cupped his cheeks under his mask, feigning shock. "Oh, Spidey, you're making me look like the bad guy. I'm in love with you, and I'd never break your heart. All I want is to be the godfather of all your future harem babies."
Peter's eyebrow twitched. "Wade, that wasn't even an answer to my question. What brings you to my apartment?"
"The author sent me here to save his first crush. Every time he reads about her, he starts crying." Wade pulled out a tissue and began dabbing his eyes.
"Wade, stop with the nonsense. What do you actually want?" Peter asked with exasperation.
Wade stood up, grabbed Peter's hand, and started dragging him out of the apartment. "Just come with me, Spidey. I'm sure you'll thank me later-and maybe even marry me once I turn into a stunning, deadly woman."
As Wade pulled him along, Peter yelled at the top of his lungs, causing the neighbors to be annoyed, "That's never going to happen!

Peter and Wade arrived in a dark alley in a poorer part of town. Peter looked around the dimly lit alley. "Wade, what are we doing here?"
But Peter got no response. He looked to his side and found the place empty, with no sign of Wade. "How does he do that?!"
He decided to let it go. The man was insane and might just drive him crazy, too.
Peter decided to focus on the alley where the crazy mercenary had brought him. With a small sigh, he stepped inside.
He knew Wade wouldn't do anything to harm him... or maybe he would. After all, Wade had killed him twice before: the first time he shot him, and the second time... he shot him again.
Peter walked cautiously, prepared for anything in case his Spider-Sense kicked in.
As he walked, he could hear the rough breathing of someone. Peter figured it might be a homeless person sleeping there.
As he got closer, he noticed a large box on the side, like the kind used for refrigerators.
He could hear the sound of that rough breathing coming from inside the box. He approached it slowly and cautiously.
As he reached the box, he looked inside, careful despite his senses not warning him of any danger.
Upon peering inside, his eyes widened completely as he found a young girl inside, covering herself with stacks of Daily Bugle newspapers featuring his pictures. The box was filled with cut-out pictures of him from the papers.
The little girl was fast asleep, and he could see she was struggling to breathe by the harsh sound coming from her mouth.
He felt a lump in his throat and dryness in his mouth as he resisted the urge to cry at the girl's condition.
Gently, he placed his hand on her forehead, feeling her slightly elevated temperature.
The girl stirred at the touch, and when she opened her eyes and saw Peter's face, she quickly jumped to the back of the box, shouting, "Please don't hurt me!"

I think you already know who the little girl is. Every time I read a story that mentions that girl, my tears start to fall.
This story shows you just one of the millions of children who were orphaned and lived under the abuse of orphanages or abusive foster families and their ultimate fate.
It was painful to watch that.
Even though this doesn't affect the real world and I have no power to change that, at least I try to make it look better in my imagination. Believe me, when the box's illustrator wrote it, my eyes started to well up with tears.
Because I remembered that this is the fate of many children in the real world in the world whether because of wars or abandonment or whatever but children do not deserve
this fate because they are just children and they are not guilty so anything is really painful
