Chapter 130: Operation: The Holy Scriptures of Septuagint
Sister Georgina wasn't about to roll up into Rave U looking like no nun today. Nah, she was about to blend in with the crowd, dripped out in the freshest Rave U uniform she could cop, swaggering through the front gate like she owned the place. She had her signature weapons hidden—vibro uzis strapped under her jacket, vibro glocks holstered at her hips. These weren’t no regular guns, either. They hummed with a deadly futuristic edge, each shot vibrating through the air with mana-infused power.
But this wasn’t no ordinary hit either. She had to play smart.
Adrian was chilling deep in his Seraphi Pact clubhouse, locked in the lab surrounded by monitors, typing away on a custom terminal with his fingertips flying across the keys. He wasn't just hacking; he was controlling everything like some kinda cyber overlord. Cameras? Hacked. Security systems? Under his command. He had his earpiece on, feeding instructions to Georgina and her clones, keeping track of every move they made. He had his crew on lock, no doubt.
"Yo, Georgina One," Adrian's voice crackled through the earpiece. "You better play this smooth. We need eyes on Ennuy, and you better not slip up. I got you on all the feeds—ain’t no way security's getting to you unless I let 'em."
The clones were scattered around Rave U, blending in as janitors, maintenance workers, visitors—all inconspicuous, moving like ghosts. They followed Adrian’s voice like a GPS. The goal? Isolate Ennuy and get him cornered.
As Georgina moved through the halls, one of the clones—disguised as a tech repair worker—set off the first wave of chaos. A mana-charged "fire drill" erupted out of nowhere, with alarms blaring, lights flashing, and students pouring out into the courtyard. It was the perfect smokescreen.
But then, things went sideways real quick.
Rhea, the sharp-eyed Black Kenku, wasn't fooled. She clocked the clones too fast, noticing how they moved too synced up, too slick for regular maintenance. She tapped her comms. "Yo, Aislin, we got some funny business by the east wing. You better check this out."
Aislin, sharp as ever, rolled up on the scene like a true boss, stepping to the clones with authority. “Yo, you got IDs or somethin'? Cuz y’all lookin’ mad outta place.”
Georgina’s clone didn’t even flinch. “We’re just here for routine checks. You got a problem with that?”
Aislin wasn’t buying it for a second. “Yeah, I got a problem.” She subtly signaled to Voira, the High Elf who’d been ready to pop off the moment things got heated.
Before anyone could say anything else, Georgina grabbed a pen off the desk nearby, flipping it casually before chucking it into the air like it was nothing. The moment it hit the ground, that pen exploded, shaking the entire east wing with a fiery blast that set off all the fire alarms. Flames roared up, windows shattered, and smoke filled the halls. It was pure chaos now.
Rave U was on lockdown, alarms blaring, but Sister Georgina and her clones weren’t about to stick around. They pulled out their vibro uzis and vibro glocks, energy humming through the air as they let off shots. Mana tasers and blades came out too, making it feel like a warzone right in the middle of the school.
Voira, being the warrior she was, charged straight into the fray with her mana-infused sword drawn, clashing with the clones. Her blade cut through the air with deadly precision, slicing clean through their attacks. She was fierce—every strike hitting like a truck, but the clones weren’t no weaklings either. They moved in perfect unison, dodging, countering, throwing up barriers with their new meta-abilities that made even Voira have to step back and rethink her next move.
Rhea swooped down from above, her wings spread wide, striking with deadly talons, trying to pick off the clones from a distance. But Georgina was ready. She whipped out one of her vibro glocks, taking aim in mid-air, and let loose. Each shot buzzed with vibrating energy, hitting so fast and hard that Rhea had to dip and weave like crazy just to avoid getting shredded.
And that’s when Xyra showed up.
Xyra wasn’t playing around. The second she stepped into the scene, the air itself felt different. Her eyes locked onto Sister Georgina like a predator hunting prey. She didn’t need to say anything; her soul weapon, those deadly chains, materialized out of thin air, wrapping themselves around the clones in a heartbeat. The chains weren’t magic; they were her soul. They twisted and coiled with an unnatural precision, pinning the clones in place and constraining their movements. It was like Xyra was toying with them, tightening her grip just enough to make them struggle but not enough to finish them.
One of the clones tried to fire off a shot from her vibro uzi, but Xyra yanked the chain tight, forcing the weapon to clatter to the floor.
“Thought you could roll up in here and cause trouble, huh?” Xyra sneered, pulling the chain even tighter, forcing Georgina’s clone to her knees.
Back at the Seraphi clubhouse, Adrian watched everything unfold, eyes darting from screen to screen. He saw how Xyra and her crew were handling the situation, and even though things weren’t going as smooth as he planned, he wasn’t sweating it yet.
He cracked his knuckles, leaning in closer to the monitors. “Aight, they wanna play tough? Let’s see how they handle this.”
With a few taps on his keyboard, Adrian hacked into the school’s security system. Suddenly, doors started locking, sealing Xyra and her team in the east wing with the clones. He shut down cameras, wiped footage, and opened up secret exits for Georgina’s crew to fall back.
“Georgina, retreat. Regroup at the west exit. I’m sending decoy drones to cover you,” Adrian barked through the earpiece.
Georgina, knowing the game was up, nodded to her clones. Even though they were pinned down, they weren’t out yet. With a swift move, she pulled out a mana taser, shocking Xyra just enough to loosen the chains. In that moment, the clones made their escape, dashing down the hallways as Adrian’s decoy drones flooded the area, causing even more chaos and confusion.
Xyra, still recovering from the shock, growled in frustration as the clones slipped through her chains, vanishing into the smoke-filled halls.
Xyra regrouped with Aislin, Voira, and Rhea, their expressions grim but determined. The clones had escaped, but not without leaving their mark.
“They’re gonna come back,” Aislin muttered, wiping the sweat from her brow. “This ain’t over.”
Xyra cracked her knuckles, her chains slithering back into nothingness. “Let ‘em. Next time, we finish this.”
Adrian watched as the clone signal on his screen flickered out. His lab was dark, save for the eerie glow of his monitors. He leaned back in his chair, rubbing his temple, already plotting the next move.
“That was just a warm-up,” Adrian smirked, hands steepled in front of him. "They’ll never see the real storm comin’.”
