Supreme Electromagnetic Tyrant

Chapter 14: Chapter 5 First Evolution_2

He observed carefully for a moment and soon made a discovery.

In the arms where Thousand Spirit Skillful Hand was located, those lines emitted faint light points, like drifting energy, spreading inside the virtual image of the human body and gradually expanding to the entire body. As time went by, the light points covered every corner of the body, and although still faint, they could no longer be ignored.

"Star Power!"

Ji Xinghuo suddenly realized that these light points represented Star Power.

At the same time, the interface on the left added a new line of text, just below [Rank].

[Star Power: 1]

"It is indeed Star Power!" Ji Xinghuo was pleased that he had guessed correctly.

All Mutants must train their Star Power, its importance and priority even above Abilities, for Star Power is the original driving force behind life's evolution!

Star Power is derived from the transformation of Ether Energy; the human body absorbs ether and transforms it into Star Power, enhancing one's strength, speed, and endurance, promoting life's evolution, and prolonging life.

It can be said that Star Power opens the gate to cultivation; possessing Star Power means truly stepping onto the path of evolution!

A Mutant's Ability can be mediocre or even useless, but Star Power must never be weak, as it is the very source of a Mutant's strength.

Additionally, using Abilities also consumes Star Power.

To use a virtual game as an analogy, if Abilities are Skills, then Star Power is the character attributes, serving both as Life Value and as Magic Value.

Gaining Star Power is not difficult, at least not for Mutants.

Merging with any Alien Species grants control over Star Power. Alien Species are born of the Star Realm and inherently contain Ether Energy; a successful fusion generates Star Power within the body.

Training Star Power is a required course for all Mutants.

There are no special techniques or shortcuts for training Star Power; there is only one way to do it, which is to constantly exercise the body to deplete the Star Power within, then wait for recovery.

Through cycles of expenditure and recovery, Star Power will slowly increase.

For a Mutant progressing from Primary Level to Advanced, Star Power exists in the body in an undetectable form of energy and is relatively weak.

On the surface, one cannot see Star Power; only the Mutant themselves can feel it.

Therefore, Star Power has a subjective characteristic.

But Star Power is also a real presence; when accumulated to a certain extent, it enables a Mutant to evolve, and upon ascending to the next rank, they can fuse with another Ability.

With Earth's technology, it is impossible to detect the existence of Star Power, let alone measure precise values.

Wanxiang Star Pupil, however, can directly display it.

However, the [Star Power] in the interface is just a numerical value without a unit, so Ji Xinghuo is unable to compare his Star Power with that of other Mutants for now; it can only serve as a reference.

A few minutes later, the Star Power value increased to 2.

Ji Xinghuo also quickly felt the effects of Star Power.

His body seemed to be imbued with an invisible energy, making his limbs stronger, and his internal organs, from inside out, were being enhanced; his hearing, touch, and smell all improved to different extents.

Every breath he took became deeper, every heartbeat became stronger.

His whole body seemed to have endless strength, and his spirit was greatly uplifted!

"This is the power of a Mutant!"

While Ji Xinghuo was still feeling his enhanced state, a staff member approached and asked, "Mr. Ji, have you successfully merged?" He had been in the observation room for over half an hour now.

"Yes," Ji Xinghuo stood up and nodded.

"Congratulations."

The staff member gave a formal congratulation and reminded him, "Mr. Ji, you can go home now. For the next few days, your body will be in its initial Evolution Period, undergoing significant changes. During this time, do not engage in intense physical activity, avoid excessive fatigue, and quickly adapt to the power of a Mutant to prevent causing harm to others."

Ji Xinghuo nodded; this was all common knowledge.

Jumping from an ordinary person to a Mutant, the first evolution of life is the most significant, with the longest duration, and it varies from person to person.

Some people take a week or even half a month to complete the evolution, while others only need a few hours.

The speed of evolution does not affect the level of enhancement.

Ji Xinghuo glanced at the interface of Wanxiang Star Pupil; the points of light in the virtual human figure were still increasing, and the [Star Power] value had grown to 3, predicting that his initial evolution would last for more than a day.

Upon leaving the Mutant Service Center, Ji Xinghuo received a notification from the Star Realm Department that he had officially become a registered Mutant of the Asia-Pacific Community.

Having used a free Alien Species, and having enjoyed the welfare of a citizen, he must unconditionally comply with a future conscription call from the country, fulfilling his citizen's duty.

"I hope they don't send out the conscription order when I'm still too weak," Ji Xinghuo thought to himself.

He didn't resist the conscription; it was his duty, naturally.

In fact, the vast majority of Asians' Mutants will never receive a national conscription order in their lifetimes, because over 90% of Mutants remain at the Primary Level their entire lives, lacking sufficient strength to be called to the battlefield.

If the day comes when even Primary Level Mutants are conscripted, it necessarily means that the Asia-Pacific Community, or even the entire Earth, is in a moment of crisis.

That would not be good news.

Ji Xinghuo wasn't afraid of dedicating himself to the country, but he feared that insufficient strength would mean sacrificing his life needlessly.

He stepped out of the Tianqin Sports Stadium and could hear a noisy and enthusiastic cry from afar: "Sword Immortal! Sword Immortal! The unrivaled Sword Immortal of Guanghan!"

The shouts came in waves, getting louder and more passionate.

Ji Xinghuo turned his head and saw that on the other side of the Tianqin Sports Stadium, hundreds of people had gathered in the plaza outside the main gate. Most of them were young, each wearing clothes with a golden pentagram, holding shiny signs, and following the leader in chanting slogans, their faces full of excitement and fervor.
