"What do you need us to collect, young master?" Lu Qing Yun asked.

"Look for the fruit from the Velvet Shrubs around us. Only take the unripe fruits for me. Also, try to ask around if there's cinnabar in this village. Collect these two ingredients and prepare a place for me. I'll change the recipe according to what we've able to get in our hand later." Qin Lan instructed.

"We've understood." the two of them left Qin Lan and Lu Yi after hearing their instructions.

"What about us, young master?" Lu Yi asked.

"Us? We're going to hunt some Yao Beast. Let's go." Qin Lan smiled. The two of them soon left the village.

"Can these people be trusted, your highness?" Huang Ping speaks with Su Wu Jian in private after everyone had left the house. In terms of seniority, Huang Ping is considered as a senior brother to Sun Wu Jian as they studied under the same teacher.

"We've noticed some activities nearby the border. And they belonged to other forces." Huang Ping narrowed his eyes the moment they talked about this topic.

"Is it from our side?" Sun Wu Jian asked. What he's most worried about is not an additional opponent but the arrival of an unwanted aide.

"They likely came from the Evil Infant Sect, your highness..." Huang Ping hesitates the moment the words came out of his mouth.

"This is even worst... Don't tell me that the bandits have something to do with their arrival?" Sun Wu Jian clenched his fist as he started to feel uneasy.

"Catch that Rock Demon Boar. We'll need it later." Qin Lan ordered as his finger pointed in a direction.

"Let's go!" a surge of Spiritual Energy wrapped around Lu Yi's body as he makes his move using the Thousand Miles Travel in a Step. In a flash, he's caught up with the Rock Demon Boar that's still unaware of his arrival.

"Zaiyun Storm Palm!" Lu Yi attacked the Rock Demon Boar ruthlessly as he tried to end this battle in a flash.

"OINK!" the Yao Beast cries after getting slapped close to six times in a flash. Tilting its head by a little, the demon suddenly picked up its speed and took a lunge at Lu Yi's direction.

**BAM!**

The boulder behind Lu Yi was smashed into pieces from this ferocious charge. But that also allowed him to attack when the Yao Beast is suffering a concussion from that tackle.

"Mistral Core Long Fist!" a dragon claw silhouette appeared when Lu Yi injected his Spiritual Energy into the Offensive Treasure on his right fist. His attack quickly ended the life of this beast without too much of a struggle.

After keeping the corpse into the Qiankun Pouch by his waist, Lu Yi returned to Qin Lan's side.

"Young..." Lu Yi addressed Qin Lan like how he's used to, but a Jewel Lotus Fruit was flicked into his mouth to stop him from talking. Qin Lan then pointed in the direction where a Crimson Battlewolf can be seen grazing on the grass.

"Are we going to capture this Yao Beast?" Lu Yi whispered beside Qin Lan as he focuses his sight on this majestic Yao Beast. It was as large as the  Thunderhorn Copper Rhino they fought before.

A crimson-red layer of hair covered the Yao Beast from head to toe. Perhaps this is where the name crimson came from.

"Yes. This fella is a sixth-level Flesh Foundation beast, so collaborate with me carefully. The name battle wolf was given to it for a reason." Qin Lan pulled his Eight Treasured Transformation Brush out as this will turn into a fierce battle the moment it started.

"Are you ready?" Qin Lan asked Lu Yi.

"Yes!" Lu Yi clenched his fist tightly. They would have to take this seriously if they wanted to capture this beast.

"Let's go." Qin Lan's Spiritual Energy turned the Eight Transformation Treasured Brush into an energy spear as they attacked at the same time. Qin Lan was the first to reach Yao Beast as he stabs his spear at the beast's head.

That single exchange ended in a flash as Qin Lan was thrown into the shrubs nearby. Even Lu Yi, who followed behind Qin Lan, felt lost.

Lu Yi smashed onto a tree about his size after getting slapped by the Crimson Battlewolf's claw. Its fighting ability is indeed frightening because two cultivators were thrown away by it without standing on all four of its limbs.

A hint of fear appeared in Lu Yi's mind as he gets back on his feet. His shoulder still feels sore from the attack earlier.

"Don't stop!" Qin Lan's word came into his hearing as three mirages surrounded the Crimson Battlewolf. The energy spear has turned into an energy sword as Qin Lan's expression gets serious.

"Come on, battle wolf!" Qin Lan yelled.

"Mountain Splitting Strike!" an energy slash capable of splitting a small hill into half made its way toward the Yao Beast ruthlessly.
