Supreme Human System

Kritos was stunned for a while, soon after, a flash of realization hit him. It turned out that the true path was not to his front, but at the sides. The path before him was nothing more than a distraction...

When he recalled that he had actually followed the path for such a long time, Kritos could not help but roll his eyes.

"Such an ingenious formation. No doubt, without Heavenly Glare, I could have been trapped inside it for a long time...Heavenly Glare Trait is a truly amazing power." 

Kritos secretly praised it as he strolled forward. Many wooden poles formed the walls here, however, after his previous experience, Kritos no longer panicked. After once again pushing open several pathways, a spacious drilling field appeared before his eyes.

Upon seeing that he had finally left that formation and passage, Kritos sighed in relief.

There was no other noise in this quiet field, only Kritos's soft footsteps sounded out, while he walked through the numerous monster stone sculptures. As he gazed at the ice-cold metal lumps around him, he felt a little dread in his heart. If these metal lumps suddenly came to life, it would truly be a tragedy for him.

Fortunately, the most tragic scenario did not occur.

The ferocious looking Stone sculpture monster legion did not move in the end, and Kritos also successfully passed through. Only when he arrived at the other end of the training field did finally let out a soft sigh of relief. He lifted his head and looked forward, suddenly a potent medicine smell drifted towards him.

What appeared before Kritos was a lake with water so clear that you could see the bottom. At the center of the lake, was a tiny pond that was built using jade. Quite a few elixirs were growing within the tiny pond and from the looks of it, they were not low-quality products.

Upon seeing this scene, delight surfaced in Kritos's eyes. He swept forward to the edge of the pond while his eyes scanned the area, before concentrating on a black elixir inside the medicine pond. That elixir looked very much like a curled up tiny dragon, and gave out an extremely potent qi, resulting in a layer of cold Qi covering the surrounding water. A rather peculiar sight.

[Ding…]

"Dragon Perception pill!"

As he stared at this black elixir, excitement finally rose up in Kritos's heart.

He never thought such a type of elixir even existed. Perception and six senses could only be increased through the increase of cultivation Realm. 

With this elixir, one could have an upper hand in the battle of the same realm practitioners. 

"My battle level would definitely sour upon consuming it, right?"

After which, the elixir was carefully placed into Kritos's mouth. He was too eager to undertake the elixir.

Anyway, after a few seconds, Kritos completely digested it in his body. However, the changes he thought to happen didn't occur.

The elixir didn't affect him much. 

"Ahh! Is it a faulty elixir?"

Soon, a voice resonated inside his mind with an explanation.

"Alas, it was a waste of a good elixir. If you could have told me before, I could have stored it and sold it at a high price."

Nonetheless, there were many elixir that he could sell at a good price.

Suddenly, Kritos sensed an amazing fragment, there seemed to be some lingering traces of extremely potent energy at the center of the medicine pond, however, after discovering the stem which had been cut, it was clear that it had already been taken away by someone.

Upon seeing that the best elixir had already been taken, Kritos could only helplessly shake his head. This was likely done by Lu Long and the rest. An elixir that could cause them to stop and collect it was definitely no ordinary item. Fortunately, there were many elixir that were not taken.

It seems they were not interested in any of the other elixir.

"These elixir are also not bad."

Kritos consoled himself in his heart before taking action, collecting every single elixir inside the pond no matter what grade they were at. Thus, a short few minutes later, the originally lush medicine pond had become rather empty. Only the faintly green pond water seemed to emit a faint medicine fragrance.

One could not blame Kritos for being greedy, after all, he did not have the vast resources that those other people had. He completely depended on himself and System to obtain his strength, and though the rest would not give a second look to these elixir, for Kritos, they were still rather precious.

"Phew..."

After collecting the last elixir, Kritos let out a long sigh. He lifted his head and looked at the stone door which had already been shattered, he could sense that perhaps Lu Long and the rest were already not that far ahead. This place was after all considered as the inner part of the legacy tomb.

"I really want to find out exactly what kind of treasures are inside!"

Kritos's gaze slightly flickered, but he did not immediately leave. Perhaps he may be unable to contest over the treasures with experts like Sasha, Lu long, and the rest, but he truly wanted to know what they managed to obtain.

However, as he was about to leave, the Egg inside the System storage violently trembled as if it wanted to come out.

"What is it?" Kritos was also taken aback by its actions. He looked at the green medicine pond, but did not discover anything, hence, he was puzzled as he asked System.

[Ding…]

[The lingering energy in this pond can be useful to that Mysteries Egg. The system suggests placing the egg at the center of the pond.]

'It seems this weird egg is anxious to absorb the pond's energy. Let's see what will happen next,' Kritos thought to himself.
