What if the world of Arkadia were an actual tabletop roleplaying game? Well, for one thing the skill tree would be a multi page, fold out, giant poster thing. The text on the poster would be printed in a tiny font size. There would have to be multiple expansions to the poster. If you were to run the game using the printed poster you'd have a conspiracy wall style tangle of pins and red thread
And if you were to run it on a table top what would the people of Arkadia look like as painted miniatures. I wanted to know, so I built them as miniatures using Hero Forge. These are mock ups using the Hero Forge website. The only thing stopping me from printing these out and painting them myself is that I don't have a 3D printer.
This is our heroine in the middle of scavenging in an abandoned Moonstone mansion. We see her holding the messer that she took from a murder hobo in the Black Woods. She liked that messer but it was not in the habit of carrying in around in the city without a good reason. It was sadly left behind in her flat on the day of the fall.
This is Nurse Trudy in her work clothes with her emergency bag on the floor next to her.
This is Amris, the most dapper man in Moonstone, taking his turn to read to the children in the Library.
This is Jethro as he looked when Petra first met him in the Black Woods. He looked very similar when he lived in Moonstone but he wasn't in the habit of carrying his felling axe strapped to his back and his hatchet hanging from his belt.
This is Agnes, the half-orc witch from the Black Woods. She's sitting on a tree stump, taking a break from dragging barrels of water around.
This is Gertrude, the Chief Archivist of the City Archive. This is how she looks when she dresses up extra smart for Council meetings. Sadly no sign of her preferred colourful knitted cardigans but at least you get to see a little touch of her haughty Elf bitch attitude.
