Sweeping Him Off His Feet

Chapter 14: What a ninja.

The entire night was chaotic for Augustine never in his life did he predict to be treated like a piece of garbage.

Eventually, when Charles began to feel exhausted, he closed his eyes and allowed the call of nature to take over him.

'What a ninja.' Augustine mused to himself as he shook his head sideways.

He moved towards the closet with purpose, returning moments later with a pair of black shorts that belongs to him.

Smiling wistfully, he sat beside Charles, savoring this fleeting moment of peace."

There, Augustine grabbed the edge of Charles's trousers as he slowly trailed his hands towards the button.

Biting his lower lip, he gently undid the button of Charles and slowly slid the zipper down, his breath quickening with each click.

'Sigh!'

Augustine sighed as averted his gaze towards the wall, taking his eyes off from Charles.

He slowly began to pull the trouser of Charles downwards but then… his hand touched something… and… it moved.

Augustine's face burned with embarrassment, his eyes wide with shock as he swallowed hard, struggling to comprehend what he had just touched.

His heart pounded in his chest, a tangled mix of emotions swirling inside him as he continued to gaze at the wall.

Augustine held his breath as he removed Charles's trousers, tossing them towards the floor.

'Should I dress him?' He inwardly questioned himself because he knew that dressing Charles without looking would be much harder than taking off his trousers of Charles.

Augustine exhaled, letting out his breath as he stood up from his seated position, walking over to grab the feet of Charles.

Augustine was about to slide the shorts over Charles' feet when Charles suddenly kicked his legs, his foot connecting with Augustine's face.

The unexpected impact left a stinging sensation on Augustine's lips, and he sustained a bruise.

'Fuck!' Augustine cursed beneath his breath as he placed his hands on his lips before shaking his head sideways.

With a sigh, Augustine made his way towards the neatly washed duvet and without looking, he tossed it over to the body of Charles.

He halts, diving his hands deep inside his trouser pocket. 'Why am I leaving my bed for him?' He inwardly questioned himself.

Augustine stares at the ceiling for a brief moment before proceeding to make his way towards the sitting room.

There, he took his seat on the couch before pulling his phone out of his pocket he stared at the time which was written on the front screen of his phone.

'Life is funny.' Augustine thought to himself.

Hours ago, Augustine left his company drained and ready for a quiet evening alone. But as he drove through the city, his gaze fell upon Charles, standing on the street corner with a red rose bouquet and a velvet box in his hands.

Curiously, the first thing that came to Augustine's mind was that Charles was planning on surprising him with the rose flower and the jewelry box if he came over to his house.

'Does he think I will fall for him because I am gay?' Augustine questioned himself as he accelerated the car engine and drove off to his mansion.

Augustine reached into the passenger seat, his hand searching for the file he needed to review, but unfortunately, it wasn't in the back seat.

'Why am I forgetful,' he groaned.

Feeling frustrated, he drove back to his company and retrieved the file, deciding to look at the company's financial records before heading back home.

It took two hours, but eventually, he let out a sigh of release after he had made sure that the financial records were correct.

Following suit, Augustine rose from his seated position with the file in hand and he stepped out of the company building, heading straight to his car which he had left packed at the company garage.

As Augustine opened his car door, his phone immediately began to ring.

Quickly answering the call, he placed the phone to his ear, hoping that it wasn't something important.

A crisp, professional voice greeted Augustine through the other end of the phone. "CEO Augustine, I apologize for calling you at this late hour. Unfortunately, I must cancel our meeting tomorrow. There's been an unforeseen circumstance that requires my immediate attention overseas."

Augustine sighed, knowing that the main aim of the caller was to ask him for a favour.

Without beating around the bush, Augustine questioned his business partner. "Do you wish for the meeting of tomorrow to be held today?"

"Yes. I would love that." The person from the other end of the line uttered.

Augustine glances at his wristwatch, staring at the time. "Where should we meet?"

"At Htyp clubhouse. I have the document you want and I promise that I won't waste your time."

Augustine wasn't one to forget a debt, so he forged ahead. "I remember the kindness you showed me at our last meeting, and I promise to repay you in kind. Consider this request a token of my gratitude."

He could almost sense the other man's smile through the phone. "Very well, CEO Augustine. Your humility does you credit."

With that, Augustine hung up the phone call.

Augustine slid into the driver's seat, as he revved the engine.

The night sky cast an eerie glow as he sped down the road, the headlights cutting through the darkness until he arrived at Htyp clubhouse.

Augustine parked his car outside the clubhouse garage, eager to make quick work of the meeting.

He headed over to the clubhouse and twenty-one minutes later, the meeting came to an absurd end.

Exhaling!

Augustine made his way towards where he had parked his car and upon getting seated inside his car, he found himself shifting his gaze towards the garage.

For an unknown reason, a creeping sense of dread washed over Augustine, the unfamiliar feeling drawing his gaze to the clubhouse garage.

He couldn't explain it, but something was amiss.

And just as if a spell had been cast on him, he made his way inside the garage only to see that someone was about to rape his contracted husband.
