The first thing I noticed was the silence. St. Mungo's was never truly quiet — there were always footsteps, whispered conversations, and the occasional explosion from the Magical Accidents ward. But this silence felt different, heavy with anticipation.

I tried to move and immediately regretted it. Every muscle screamed in protest, and where my magic usually hummed beneath my skin, there was only a hollow emptiness.
"I wouldn't try that if I were you," came a familiar voice. Albus Dumbledore sat in a conjured armchair beside my bed, looking both grave and amused. "Magical exhaustion of this magnitude requires absolute rest."
"The Potters?" My voice was barely a whisper.
"Safe," he assured me, his blue eyes twinkling. "Thanks to your rather spectacular intervention. Though I must admit, I find myself intensely curious about how you knew to be there that night."

Before I could respond, the door burst open. Lily rushed in, her red hair flying wild, and Harry clutched to her chest. James followed, along with Sirius Black, who looked like he hadn't slept in days.
"You absolute madman," Lily sobbed, carefully hugging me with her free arm. "You could have died!"
"Worth it," I managed to croak, reaching out to touch Harry's tiny hand. My nephew grabbed my finger, healthy and whole, his forehead unmarked by any lightning bolt scar. "Hey, pequeño."

"Mate," Sirius said, his voice rough, "they found Peter. The Aurors are questioning him now. He... he was the spy."
James's face darkened. "We trusted him. All this time..."
"What matters," Dumbledore interjected gently, "is that thanks to Professor Evans's timely intervention, Voldemort's plan was thwarted. Though the question remains of how he knew to be there."
All eyes turned to me. I could feel the system processing possible explanations, but in my weakened state, the interface was flickering in and out of focus.

"I've been having dreams," I said slowly, which wasn't entirely a lie. My memories of the original timeline could certainly count as dreams. "Vivid ones. About danger coming to Lily and James. When I realized what day it was..." I let my voice trail off.
"Prophetic dreams?" Dumbledore leaned forward, suddenly intense. "Fascinating. Perhaps connected to your unique magical heritage?"
[ALERT: POTENTIAL TIMELINE DIVERGENCE]
[NEW PLOT THREAD DETECTED]
[CALCULATING IMPLICATIONS...]
Before anyone could pursue that line of questioning, Harry let out a happy squeal and reached for me again. As I watched him, healthy and loved, surrounded by his family, the system displayed a new message:

"We've moved everyone to a new safe house," James was saying. "Sirius is Secret Keeper now — properly, this time. And once you're well enough..."
"You're coming to stay with us," Lily interrupted firmly. "No arguments. You saved our lives, Ramon. You're family."

I smiled weakly, even as my mind raced with the implications. I'd saved the Potters, yes, but what else had I changed? What new dangers might arise in this altered timeline? And more importantly, who or what had given me this system, and why?
The room started spinning again, and my vision blurred. The last thing I saw before passing out was a new system message:
[REST NOW, UNCLE. TOMORROW, WE BEGIN TO RESHAPE DESTINY.]
