The Diary Of A Summer Well Lived

Chapter 33: Chapter 31

Chapter 31.

The wheels of bus where going amazing still and stable despite the weight of the existent tension between the girls. The room was silent, so silent that even the air that passed by tried to take part of the tension with it while it blew could be heard. Everything was gloomy...….so much for a girl's day.

All times of thoughts went through Maya's mind, either she should stop the bus, get out of their and never speak to the girls again, but that was impossible because the next near and favorable bus stop from where she would be able to go home easily is the one that will stop at the end of the bus trip, so it was not a good idea. No noise were made, everyone maintained their silence. Suddenly the silence was broken when Maya said

Maya: " You can have him anyway but get ready to suffer because if he could have played TWO girls that were super close to each other and turn them into enemies, he sure can do the same to you and your "group of friends". So go ahead"

Tamara: " We are so sorry Maya, we came here hoping to help you get better but instead we are just making it worse, if you want we can just tell the bus driver to turn back and take you home".

Julia: "no no, that is not the solution to this, what should happen is that Aaliyah needs to come down from her bunk bed and talk things with Maya, because this isn't fair." Stares at Aaliyah with a mix of anger, rage and disappointment growing in her eyes "Don't leave the poor girl here in search of inexistent answers between your clueless words and narrate how and what happened between you and him".

Looking down at all her friends, she suddenly felt a huge distress, her stomach took 20 backflips and her hands wouldn't stop trembling. That was when she realised she had to come clean. Stepping down from her bed like a wounded warrior she silently sat with her friends while she started taking

Aaliyah: " We met online around April or sort some years ago, I don't really remember how we met but we did. He was the first one to text, said my photo seemed beautiful to him, like beauty in its highest level. He then told me why was happening in his family and how he could really use a friend and since we didn't live far away from each other, I agreed"

Maya: "What was going on in his family?".

Aaliyah: "Apparently his parents didn't make time for him even though they were really prestigious where he lived, it was like he was not a priority for them" ...
