Chapter 6

While Lisa went in search for food, Maya started organising her things and by the time she was done, Lisa had gotten back with more than enough food. After they finished, they both sneaked out to the balcony and ate their food while they watched the sunrise. And before their mothers would notice they were already back in their room.

It was finally morning and time for Maya to go , she had hugged her friend, had her legit goodbye 👋 moment with her, carried her bag headed out but as she was walking through the passage of Lisa's house she got stopped Franclon.

Franclon: "So I guess this is goodbye" Laughing a bit but felt worried. "Before going, I wanted you to know that I am honored and happy to be your first time. It was also my first time to and I am happy that it had been with you. Even though we've known each other for so little, it has felt like a long time and now I will forever have you in my mind, in my memory and in my history as my one and only first time–"

Maya: Hugged him tightly for a few minutes and then let him go "Thank YOU! for making my first time such an amazing memory for me too and I will also have you in my memory forever and ever. AND this is not goodbye, we will still see each other from time to time. I live like 3 houses away and I come here often, like every single day. So yeah". Grabs his hand "Thank you again for the amazing memory we've now created together".

Franclon: Hugs her too "Bye, then, until next time!"

Maya: Let's his hand go and says Until then!"

Maya, who had thought she would never have a boyfriend in her life, was now walking out of her best friends house, having slept with literally the hottest guy on earth 🌍 🌍, she was happy and sad at the same time, it was such an euphorical moment, when she realised that she had also killed her first fetus, but she tried her best to deem down the feeling of guilt she had from the abortion which was the negative part of what had happened,and focus on the positive part to feel better.

The ride home was quite, her mother was normally a talkative person whenever they were in an enclosed space together but she was surprisingly super quiet 🤐 🤐 as they headed home. Maya wanted to ask her what was wrong with her but she figured that it was better to keep her mouth shut because she could piss her off.

When they got home Mrs Scatts didn't get out of her car but Maya did and she was surprised to have found her dad running helter skelter and throwing every luggage and baggage of hers and her mom's .

Mrs Scatts: Yells from the car "Maya, take those baggage, put them in the boot and let's go"

While Maya was packing the luggages 🧳 🧳, she figured that her parents must have been fighting and were now definitely getting a divorce. And that must have been why her mum was so quiet during their ride. She was so confused and sad and angry and annoyed and upset but she had to keep her cool 😞 😞 and follow her mom's orders. So she packed the bag, put it in the booth of the car and they started heading away from their house.

Her two brothers weren't coming and that made Maya even more depressed. But with the anger, guilt and annoyance in her body she pushed herself to move her mouth and said:

Maya: "Mum, where are we going?" With crying in her tone.

Mrs Scatts: "I always knew you were a smart girl Maya. I knew you would have figured out the fact that me and your dad are fighting and wouldn't ask me anything. But I need to ask you something. I need you to be strong and ready because this is just temporal, we are not divorced, your dad just need a little time to calm down. Remember the huge mansion beside Mrs Collen's house?"

Maya: "Yes, the one you said belonged to a millionaire?".

Mrs Scatts: "Good job. That is the one I am talking about…..well it isn't actually owned by a millionaire. It is mine. Well, and you could also say that it was owned by a millionaire because last month me and my salesman calculated our funds and now I AM a millionaire!"

Maya: Jumps excitedly "This is good news MOM, I am so HAPPY for you, so have you told anyone yet?"

Mrs Scatts: "I told your dad and you could see what it has revealed. It turns out that your dad is a sexist motherfucker who couldn't believe the fact that a woman could have more money than him. So he threw me out of HIS house, because he said since I have lots of money now, I should be able to afford mine. And that's exactly what we are going to do. We are moving to that mansion which is actually a good idea considering the fact that we would be nearer to the Collen's Smith and you would be able to live closer to your best friend in other to survive this fight in a better and friendly way. And since this huge surprise already caused a lot of fight between me and my 30 years lover, it could cause more conflict between my friend so let's keep it our little secret".

Maya: "okay, I won't tell Lisa anything then or mention anything of sort during the presence of the Collens" Breathes deeply and holds her mom's hand " But MOM I am so proud of you for choosing your own path and sticking to your own principles and success even when the decision is quite hard. It takes a strong woman to take strong decisions and I am extremely proud of you".
