The Great Adventure

Chapter 17: Hoofa

The gang and the cheese fish arrived at their target planet after a few hours of travel. The planet was quite a couple of galaxies away. Halfway through, Bird went to bed and Mushpuff took over as pilot. When they arrived, Mushpuff woke Bird and he landed them on the planet. All eight individuals in the ship exited and took a look around.

The planet they found themselves on had orange moss covering the ground, and it was super hilly. The planet had three moons, except one of them was shattered into many pieces. The sky was purple. Massive purple cliffs could be seen in the distance, and just in front of them was a town.

“That’s our final destination,” said Bird. “Let’s get back in the spaceship and fly closer to town so we don’t have to walk.”

“That’s actually genius,” said Plagiarize.

So that is exactly what they did. They flew closer to the town. I don’t know why I’m dragging this part on so long.

Bird led the gang through the town, which was made of houses. He stopped in front of one of the houses.

“This is the house, yo.” He knocked on the door and waited for about 10 seconds before it opened and everyone gasped. Behind the door was… a dog. It was a WIENER DOG, and it was bipedal just like Mushpuff.

“Bro what the actual fuck?” said the dog, who was clearly very tired and was not expecting to find a human, a cat, a pig, and four fish made of cheese behind her door, accompanied by her friend she hadn’t seen in years.

“Yo what up Hoofa?” said Bird as a greeting. “I know it’s been a while but we need your help.”

“I’m gonna need some MAJOR context, yo,” said the dog, whose name was Hoofa. She opened her door wide to let everyone inside.

Hoofa’s house was very cozy. It was made of wood and it had a table, some chairs, a couch, and a fireplace. Yeah that’s literally all it had, and it was all crammed in one room, so it was quite packed, making for a very cozy experience. Covering the floor were empty cans of dog food, and one of the corners of the room had a massive pile of them.

“Alright now give me some context,” said Hoofa.

“Okay I will tell you everything you need to know,” said Bird, who proceeded to tell the entire story, with help from the rest of the gang because he was tired of telling the entire story to people.

“Ah, I see,” said Hoofa. “So you’re trying to defeat the Cow Galaxy, you have an army of bears coming after you, and you want directions to the planet of Smack-Smork so you can gather powerful magical artifacts so you can have a chance of defeating everyone you want to defeat?”

“That’s just about it,” said Bird.

“It seems like you’re in quite a sticky situation. You know, I used to be quite powerful back in my day. Say… if I join you on your adventure, you definitely won’t regret it. How about it?”

“Yeah!!!!” exclaimed Bird. “Another member joins the gang!”

“The gang?”

“That’s what I’m calling it! Anyways, these fish will live in this village now. Bye, fish!”

With that, the gang kicked the four fish out of Hoofa’s house. Then Hoofa went over to the fireplace and pulled a secret lever.

“Behold!” she said, and the fireplace opened up. Behind it were stairs going down. “My secret lair full of secret things! I haven’t been down here in at least 5 years.”

The gang made their way down the stairs, and Hoofa closed the fireplace behind them so nobody could sneak in and assassinate them. At the bottom of the stairs was a small room with some shelves. On the shelves were books. The room was very dank and water was dripping from the ceiling, which was starting to grow stalactites.

“How old is this room, exactly?” asked Bird, looking at the stalactites on the roof.

“I don’t know, dude!” said Hoofa. “It was here when I moved into the house. I don’t really question it. Anyways, here’s the map we need.” She went to a shelf and pulled off a mysterious crinkly scroll which was covered with dust. Hoofa blew on it and all the dust came off in a satisfying puff which landed directly in Plagiarize’s face. Hoofa opened the scroll, which was a map leading directly to the planet they needed to go to.

“Hmm…” said Hoofa, looking at the map very intensely. “Hmmmmmmmm… huh… well… I suppose… yes! Okay. I know just how to get there.”

“Okay, great!” said Bird. “Just guide me as I pilot the ship, yo.”

“Nonsense! I’ll fly it!” said Hoofa. “I’m a trained pilot.”

“Let’s go then!”

“Right now, yo?” asked Hoofa.

“No time to spare. We’re being chased by bears, as you know.”

The gang made their way out of Hoofa’s dank basement and were met with a horrific sight. Hoofa’s house… WAS EXACTLY WHERE THEY LEFT IT, AND IT WAS IN THE EXACT SAME CONDITION AS IT WAS WHEN THEY LEFT IT. Hoofa walked into her garage and came out riding an elephant.

“Gang, meet my elephant. His name is Gumpton. He and I always go everywhere together, except when ‘everywhere’ refers to the inside of my house. Or at least since The Incident.”

The gang then made their way to the spaceship, and it was a little awkward trying to fit Gumpton into the front door, but they eventually managed it after a bit of tugging.

At the exact moment Hoofa engaged the hyper engines, a Bearmy ship disengaged its hyper engines because of the fact that it had just arrived at the planet where they just left.
