The Prince of Sloth [DxD]

Chapter 15: Chapter – 14 The Emperor’s Little Sister

When Malakarion, Sephie, and Seirios arrived at the waiting room, Roygun and her peerage had already emerged. They had swapped their Rating Game battle gear for more formal, presentable outfits. However, they weren't alone—they were accompanied by others and appeared to be heading somewhere under the guidance of individuals dressed in black suits.

"Looks like we'll have to wait," murmured Sephie, watching Roygun and her group make their way down the hallway.

"Seems so," Malakarion agreed with a nod.

Seirios said nothing, his gaze fixed on the people accompanying Roygun. In particular, his attention lingered on a certain grey-haired woman. 'Is she...?' he wondered.

While Seir was lost in thought and Malakarion and Sephie deliberated on waiting, Roygun had already noticed her parents and younger brother. She exchanged a few words with a grey-haired man, who gave a brief nod while glancing in their direction. Then, speaking briefly to Lucia, she turned and approached them.

"Father… Mother…" Roygun greeted them.

"Press conference?" Sephie asked.

Roygun nodded with a bitter smile. "Yes… I'll have to attend. It might take some time."

"It's alright… we'll wait until the press conference ends," Malakarion said, deciding to stay and adding, "In the meantime, we'll meet up with some old friends."

Roygun nodded in understanding. "I see," she said before glancing at Seir. After a moment's pause, she bit her lip and added, "Since you'll be catching up with your old friends, wouldn't it be better for Seir to stay with me instead? He'd likely get bored sitting through conversations with those old Devils."

Sephie hesitated. "But wouldn't you be busy with the press conference?"

"It's fine," Roygun assured her. "One of my peerage members can look after him while I'm occupied. I am sure Liala would prefer that… or maybe Zest…"

"Well…" Sephie murmured, thinking it over. Then she turned to her son. "Seir, do you want to go with your elder sister? Though it might be noisy over there…"

"Uhh…" Seir hesitated. He was caught between two less-than-appealing options: either accompany Roygun to the press conference, where it would be loud and he might draw unwanted camera attention (he doesn't like camera attention all that much), or tag along with his parents to meet a bunch of old Devils. Neither sounded particularly enticing.

But then he thought to himself, 'Roygun probably just needs someone to lean on right now after her defeat…' That realization nudged him toward his decision. There was also another reason that piqued his interest: 'If that grey-haired woman is who I think she is… I have to take this chance. After all, I can't pass up the opportunity to meet such a beautiful lady, can I?'

With a faint smile, Seir nodded. "Alright, I'll go with Roygun."

"Sweet," murmured Roygun as she stretched out her arms and gently took Seir from Sephie. "Let me hold you," she said with a warm smile.

Seir didn't resist and allowed himself to be carried, though he thought to himself, 'Just a little while longer… As soon as I turn four, I'm saying goodbye to being carried around like this forever.'

With Seir securely in her arms, Roygun turned to Sephie and Malakarion. "Father, Mother… I'll see you both after the press conference."

"Alright," they both replied with a nod.

With that, Roygun left, carrying Seir with her.

.

.

As Roygun walked toward her peerage and the two grey-haired cousins, she let out a sigh and said, "I'm pathetic, aren't I? Even though I said I'd win… in the end, I couldn't defeat Diehauser."

Seir glanced at her and replied, "But you don't seem all that upset about it… or even surprised by the result."

Roygun chuckled with a self-deprecating edge to her tone. "Isn't this funny that this was within my expectations? Or rather, a part of me knew that this would be the result no matter what I do, after all, regardless of how many times I've tried, I've never been able to best Diehauser. Even when I use that, something he probably doesn't even know about, it still doesn't make a difference. He's just… in a completely different league."

'You really shouldn't talk about that in front of your little brother… are you trying to invite a certain group of people to assassinate me under some bullshit pretext?' Seir complained inwardly as he thought of the implications of knowing about that. Seir, who understood that 'that' in Roygun's words is probably the [King] piece, didn't want her to mention it in front of him, lest someone hear it, and it causes him endless trouble.

And in response to her self-deprecating remarks, Seir shook his head and said, "I don't think you're pathetic at all."

"Hm?" Roygun's ears perked up at his words, and she asked with curiosity, "What do you mean by that?"

"Well…" Seir dragged the word out as he folded his hands and said. "I think you were amazing out there, and you almost had him! Sure, in the end, he got lucky and managed to win, but honestly, I think that was your best match yet. I'd even say this might be the first time the Emperor was so close to losing. To push him that far? That's seriously impressive. And to me, you looked super cool."

"Eh? Really? You think so, Seir?" Roygun asked, a light blush blooming across her cheeks. She felt both a little embarrassed and incredibly happy to hear Seir call her cool.

"Mm-hmm," Seir nodded affirmatively, then added with a warm smile, "Besides, seeing you give it your all out there with a grin on your face made me realize just how important the Rating Games are to you and how much you enjoy them. Moreover, knowing that you put in all that extra effort this time in order to win for my sake... it really made me happy."

"Is that so?" Roygun asked softly, biting her lower lip as a warm, sweet feeling spread through her chest. Without realizing it, a smile had already crept onto her lips.

"Yes," Seir replied with a firm nod and added thoughtfully, "In fact, seeing you give it your all out there made me feel something. A part of me thought, 'I want to do that too.' I want to participate in the Rating Games... to compete against you and even against him."

Unlike Roygun, Seir had never been particularly interested in the Rating Games. It was similar to how he had never been into soccer, football, or cricket. Neither watching the games nor playing them. To be fair, he wasn't much of a sports guy at all. Sure, he worked out at the gym, went jogging now and then, and dabbled in badminton during his college days, but calling him a sports enthusiast would have been a huge overstatement.

Of course, the main reason he was never into sports was that he didn't really have any friends, siblings, or cousins who were interested in that kind of thing.

'Or maybe I should say, I didn't have any friends, siblings, or cousins at all—not just for dabbling in sports, but also for hanging out or simply spending time together. That's probably why I got into watching and reading fiction in the first place. It was an attempt to escape into a fantasy world and distract myself from the loneliness.'

Be that as it may, it's an undeniable fact that Seir never did much when it came to sports, or any group activity for that matter.

For that same reason, the Rating Games had never really caught his attention when he watched them on the flat screen a few times. However, experiencing it live from the stadium was something else entirely. Watching Roygun give it her all, seeing firsthand how much the people of the Underworld admired these players, and realizing the sheer joy the competitors found in these battles stirred something in him.

At that moment, he couldn't bring himself to dismiss it all with a casual, 'Nah, I'm not interested in that stuff.'

On the contrary—he did want to be a part of these Rating Games.

And you know what, deep down, he was even a little relieved that Roygun hadn't managed to defeat Emperor Belial. After all, if she had won, what would he do?

Defeat Roygun after she becomes the champion?

'Well, technically, she's already a two-time champion of the Rating Games... but it's a different feeling when you defeat the undefeated compared to someone who has been defeated multiple times...'

Defeating his elder sister wouldn't be nearly as significant an achievement as taking down the undefeated Emperor of the Rating Games, right?

'If she were an evil elder sister who bullied me, suppressed me, tortured me, and constantly caused problems for me… then beating her would make sense. It would be satisfying—an act of revenge to finally take her down and free myself from her clutches. But unfortunately, this isn't a tale like that, and Roygun's nothing like that. On the contrary, she loves me so dearly that some might even say she is obsessed with me, and I fear she might not even give it her all against me because she wouldn't want to hurt me. And truth be told, I might not be able to give my all against her either…'

Therefore, it has to be someone else.

Someone against whom he would have no such hesitation and no such qualms.

And who better to challenge than the undefeated?

Indeed, Seir had added another side quest to his list of personal goals: to one day defeat Diehauser Belial, the six-time Champion of the Underworld Rating Game Tournament, in a Rating Game.

'It has to be me, right? The one to defeat the undefeated?'

Roygun, well aware of Seir's usual lack of interest in the Rating Games, was taken aback by his words. "Eh? Really?" she asked, her eyes widening in surprise. "You... the one who's never shown much interest in the Rating Games... actually want to compete in them?"

"Yes…" Seir nodded, his gaze locking firmly with Roygun's. "In the next major Rating Game Tournament, I'll participate as a [King] of my own peerage and defeat everyone…" He paused, shifting his eyes toward the grey-haired man nearby before finishing with determination, "Including you… and him."

"Oh? So my little brother plans to defeat everyone, including me, and him to become the Rating Game champion?" Roygun asked with a teasing smile.

"Yes, it's a good side quest," Seir replied nonchalantly, nodding as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.

"Si… side quest?" Roygun blinked in disbelief, stunned by his casual declaration.

"Umu." Seir bobbed his head confidently.

Roygun was left speechless. "You little…"

For most [Kings] competing in the professional leagues, defeating someone like her—let alone Diehauser—is nothing short of a lifelong dream. Most can only imagine achieving such a feat, but barely a handful ever come close to the point that the likes of her and Diehauser are even considered undefeatable by most of the Underworld.

Even for her, defeating Diehauser would be a monumental accomplishment. It would be a dream come true. But for Seir?

It was nothing more than a side quest.

Smirking, Roygun teased, "If that's a side quest, then what's the main quest? Becoming a Maou? Does my little brother want to become a Maou?"

Holding his chin, Seir murmured, "Maou? That is indeed a position fitting for the great me…" but then he shrugged, shaking his head casually. "But it would be too burdensome with too many responsibilities. Definitely not my cup of tea."

Roygun's lips twitched at his response. While most children of the Underworld idolized the Maou, considering them heroes and symbols, and aspired to become like them, here was her little brother dismissing the role as too burdensome. Curious, she pressed further. "I see, so you don't want to be a Maou… but then, what is the main quest?"

A smirk crept across Seir's face as he seemed to drift into a private daydream, clearly fantasizing about something. But instead of answering, he simply placed a finger on his lips and said, "It's a secret."

"Oh…? Playing mysterious, are we?" Roygun asked with a smile, her curiosity piqued.

"Mm-hmm…" Seir nodded with a small smile.

"So, it seems I'll just have to wait if I want to find out what your main quest is," Roygun said with a playful sigh.

"That's right," Seir replied with a smug grin. "Patience is a virtue, you know."

Roygun blinked as a smile crept on her face upon hearing Seir's wise words and she murmured under her breath, "Cheeky little brat!"

.

.

"Hm? Is this your little brother, Roygun-sama? Oh my Satan! He's adorable!" The comment came from a stunning woman with silvery-grey hair, matching eyes, and a figure as impressive as Roygun's. She smiled warmly as her gaze lingered on Seir.

Roygun beamed with pride, puffing out her chest. "Yes, isn't my little brother the cutest?"

'Damn right, I'm him, when it comes to beauty standards!' Seir thought narcissistically, running a hand through his hair with exaggerated flair while casually slipping his other hand into his pants pocket, striking a pose as if he were the epitome of coolness.

His over-the-top display of confidence only made him look even more adorable, prompting the woman to exclaim with heartfelt enthusiasm, "Absolutely! He's without a doubt the cutest child I've ever seen." She then turned to the grey-haired man standing beside her and asked him, "Isn't that right, Diehauser-niisama?"

"Uh… maybe?" the Champion replied, his expression unsure and noncommittal as he looked at the child floating in the air with his bat wings flapping lightly.

"Maybe?" Roygun's tone turned cold as she crossed her arms and glared at him. "What do you mean by 'maybe'? My little brother is definitely the cutest! He's the most adorable!"

"Yes, yes, Roygun-sama's brother is absolutely the cutest!" the woman chimed in enthusiastically, siding with Roygun. Then, with a dissatisfied look on her face, she folded her hands under her large bust, and added, "Niisama doesn't know how to appreciate true cuteness…"

"Cleria…" Diehauser mumbled, looking helpless and a little betrayed.

Watching the 'Emperor' look so troubled, Seir snickered inwardly. 'Even the great Diehauser Belial, the Emperor himself, looks powerless in front of his little sister…'

It wasn't just Seir who found amusement in Diehauser's predicament; the rest of Diehauser's and Roygun's peerage also chuckled softly at the sight of their usually composed leader wearing such a troubled expression.

"Anyway, Roygun-sama… ignore my Diehauser-niisama, who doesn't understand how cute your little brother is…" the grey-haired woman spoke to Roygun, before turning her attention to Seir, lowering her voice slightly as she asked gently, "What's your name, Roygun-sama's otōto-kun?"

"Otōto-kun?" mumbled Seir subconsciously. He didn't expect her to speak to him using Japanese words and honorifics. 'Is she already operating in Kuoh Town?' he wondered to himself.

After all, the woman captivated by his cuteness was none other than Cleria Belial, the younger cousin of Emperor Belial who was assigned to be the Manager of Kuoh Town in Japan. From her use of Japanese terms and honorifics, Seir deduced that she was likely already serving as the manager of Kuoh Town.

'I wonder if she's already entered a relationship with that priest of the Protestant Church, Yaegaki Masaomi… I hope not. It would be a shame to see such a beautiful woman meet that kind of fate,' he thought to himself.

While Seir was lost in his thoughts, Cleria, thinking that the child probably didn't understand what 'Otōto-kun' meant, quickly realized her mistake. She stuck out her tongue and apologized, "Ah, I apologize, I said that out of habit…" Then, with a quick explanation, she added, "It means little brother."

Seir pouted and replied, "You don't need to explain the meaning of 'Otōto-kun' to me. I understand what it means. I was just surprised to hear you use Japanese language and honorifics."

Besides, even if he hadn't known the meaning of 'Otōto-kun,' the passive Language ability inherent to their race would have been enough for him to grasp her intended meaning.

"Eh? You know that?" The woman looked at him in surprise.

Seir shrugged and explained, "A [Pawn] of my sister's peerage is Japanese, so I know a few things about Japan..." 'Of course, this is a lie,' he thought to himself. While it's true that one of Roygun's [Pawns] is a Japanese girl and Seir has played with her quite a few times, the real reason he understood the meaning of 'Otōto-kun' was because he had watched quite a few animes and read quite a bit of manga in his last life.

Anyone who has watched animes and read manga, even if they don't understand Japanese completely, still manages to pick up a few terms here and there.

The woman blinked in realization. "Oh... that makes sense..." She nodded, subtly glancing in the direction of the slim woman with light blue shoulder-length hair wearing a navy blue leotard with a black collar, white skirt, and a navy blue cape, along with armor on all four of her limbs, and thought to herself, 'It must have been Nonaka Yuki-sama…'

While Cleria entertained such thoughts, a man in a black business suit approached Diehauser and Roygun, addressing them respectfully. "Lord Belial, Lady Belphegor, please step this way—everything is set up and the media is waiting."

Diehauser nodded slightly. "Alright..." He glanced at Cleria, who gave a brief nod as if saying, 'Don't worry niisama, I will be fine here.' Then began to move with his peerage moving alongside him.

On the other hand, Roygun responded like this, "Oh, alright... just a moment, please," before turning to one of her [Pawns]. "Liala, would you mind holding—"

Before she could finish, Cleria interjected, raising her hand, she volunteered enthusiastically. "Ano… Roygun-sama, let me watch over your Otōto-kun."

"Hm? Cleria? Do you want to do it? Are you sure?" Roygun asked, surprised by her offer.

"Well, it's not like I'll be joining Niisama for the press conference," Cleria explained with a small smile. "After all, I'm not a member of his peerage. I'll be staying behind regardless. So, I don't mind watching over your Otōto-kun." She patted her chest confidently. "I'll make sure your adorable Otōto-kun is accompanied while you're handling the press conference."

Roygun paused to think, her gaze shifting to Seir, who gave her a small nod of approval. Satisfied, she agreed. "Alright, then, I will leave Seir in your care for the time being."

Ordinarily, Roygun wouldn't entrust her little brother to just anyone, but she had known Cleria since the latter was the same age as Seir. That long-standing bond reassured her that Cleria could be trusted with such an important responsibility.

"Yes, please leave it to me!" Cleria nodded confidently, then added with a playful smile, "This is the perfect opportunity for us, the little siblings of Rating Game Champions, to get to know each other better!"

"Oh? Is that so? Well then, please feel free to do so," Roygun said with a smile before turning to Seir. "And don't cause any trouble for Cleria, okay?"

"Hmm… got it," Seir nodded lightly.

With that, Roygun and her peerage left, accompanied by the men in black business suits.

After Roygun left, Cleria and Seir exchanged a glance.

'Being this cute should be a crime!'

'So, you're the beauty who stumbles upon something far beyond your understanding and becomes the catalyst for something troublesome...'

Indeed, Cleria was a beauty by any standard. 'No wonder the priest from the Protestant Church fell for you...'

After a brief moment of silence, each lost in their own thoughts, Cleria finally spoke up, repeating her earlier question. "So, what's your name, Roygun-sama's otōto-kun?"

Seir couldn't help but think, 'I feel like I've introduced myself too many times these past few days. Maybe I should just wear a label with my name and title to avoid this trouble every time.'

'Ah, who am I kidding? Some people are just idiots. Even with the label clearly visible, they'd still ask for my name and everything else.'

Although Seir thought this inwardly, he gave a respectful bow and said, "Seirios Vandegor Belphegor is at your service, my beautiful lady…" He took her hand and kissed it, surprising Cleria, then added, "Please, call me Seir."

Cleria chuckled softly at being called 'beautiful lady' and nodded, "Then I'll call you Seir-kun."

Seir nodded approvingly, folding his arms across his chest. "Acceptable."

Cleria giggled lightly and continued the conversation. "So, Seir-kun, how old are you?"

"Three years old… but I'll turn four in a few months," Seir replied.

"Oh, I see," Cleria said with a nod before adding, "Then, Seir-kun, I've heard quite a few rumors about you…"

"Hmm? Rumors? About me? What do they say?" Seir asked, his curiosity piqued. This was the first time he'd heard of rumors involving him. 'Well, considering I am hearing this from the girl who loves rumors and gossip and investigates them to the point of digging her own grave, it might certainly be the case. Still, it's a little surprising… I haven't even met that many people until now for there to be rumors about me.'

"One of the rumors says you're even more of a genius than Roygun-sama. Is that true?" Cleria asked, her curiosity evident.

'Huh? There's a rumor like that going around? How did such a rumor start?' Seir thought, raising an eyebrow before shrugging. "How would I know if it's true or not? It's far too early to judge something like that, don't you think?"

"Hmm… I suppose you're right. It would be hard for you to know that" Cleria agreed after giving it a moment of thought.

"Yes. Something like that can only be judged as accurate if I actually manage to surpass her. Until then, it's just a rumor," Seir added casually.

"That's true, I guess…" Cleria nodded again as she thoughtfully pondered over Seir's words.

Noticing her momentary silence, Seir decided to speak up, "Lady Cleria…"

"Hm? Yes, Seir-kun?" Cleria responded, snapping out of her reverie.

"May I ask you something as well?" Seir inquired politely.

"Of course," Cleria replied with a nod, her curiosity piqued as she wondered what the child wanted to know from her. "What would you like to know?"

"Do you… have a boyfriend?" Seir asked in a casual tone.

"Wha–… a… b… b-boyfriend?" Cleria stammered, her cheeks flushing a deep red. She clearly hadn't expected such a question from Seir. Flustered, she shyly shook her head and stammered, "N-No… I don't have a… b-boyfriend!"

"Eh? Really?" Seir asked, his surprise evident. From Cleria's reaction, it seemed as though she didn't have much experience with men. 'Is that really the case? And if it is…' internally he began to grin as he rubbed his hands, together, 'Hmm-hmm~.'

"Yes! I don't have a boyfriend!" she declared firmly, nodding again as if to emphasize her point. Then, with a hint of exasperation, she asked, "Why would you even ask something like that?"

"It's because I think Lady Cleria is very beautiful," Seir replied matter-of-factly. "A woman as beautiful as you would surely have a suitor, a fiancé, or a boyfriend. If not, then something must be wrong with the world. But I haven't heard any rumors about you having a suitor or a fiancé, which led me to the next obvious conclusion…" He paused for dramatic effect before continuing, "A boyfriend. But now you're saying you don't even have that. It seems people don't know how to appreciate beauty."

"Cough…" Cleria felt her face heat up at his explanation. "W-Well…" She couldn't exactly get upset at being called beautiful, so she simply shook her head with a sheepish smile. "It seems there really is something wrong with this world, right? I have no fiancé, no suitor, and certainly no boyfriend."

"Hmm… that does seem to be the case," Seir nodded thoughtfully before adding, "But something being wrong with the world isn't a good thing, right? We need to do something about it; otherwise, it could lead to all sorts of trouble for people."

Cleria, surprised to hear such words coming from a child, couldn't help but smile. "Yes, that is certainly true," she agreed, curiosity getting the better of her. "So, what do you suggest, Seir-kun? What should we do to ensure that no one feels troubled and the world returns to normal?"

Seir paused for a moment as if analyzing the issue. "Since the cause of the world being 'wrong' is that Lady Cleria doesn't have a fiancé, a suitor, or a boyfriend… then to fix the world, we need to address the cause. That means…" he looked at her seriously, "we have to find you a boyfriend."

Cleria blinked in surprise but quickly decided to play along. "Oh? Do I really need to get a boyfriend? Will that solve the problem and set the world 'right' again?"

"Yes, I think it will," Seir nodded with conviction.

"Oh… but there's an issue," Cleria said, glancing around as she absentmindedly twirled a strand of her hair. "I don't have a boyfriend, and I don't see anyone around who would make me his girlfriend."

"That is problematic," Seir replied with a serious nod.

"It really is, isn't it?" Cleria agreed, playing along with a mock sense of urgency. "Then what should we do? If I don't get a boyfriend, something will remain wrong with the world…"

Seir let out an exaggerated sigh, folding his arms as though burdened with a great responsibility. "Sigh… We must find a solution to this problem…" He furrowed his brows, pretending to think deeply, before suddenly snapping his fingers with a look of triumph. "Aha! I know! I've found the solution!"

"Hm? Seir-kun, you know the solution?" Cleria asked, leaning forward with interest, her curiosity piqued.

"Yes, since this is for the sake of the world, and you don't have any other option…" Seir paused dramatically, pointing at himself with absolute confidence. "It can't be helped—I, who realized the problem, must shoulder this responsibility. I will become your boyfriend! Of course, only to ensure that nothing remains wrong with the world."

"Haah?" Cleria gasped, her eyes widening in surprise before she stifled a laugh. "Seir-kun, you'd do that? For the world?"

"We, the denizens of this world, must ensure that nothing goes wrong with the world we live in, after all, we have only one world to live in, if something happens to this world, where else would we go? To the Mars?" Seir declared with a resolute tone, placing his hand on his chest. "And since there is no other option, I have no choice but to step up and take on this responsibility myself." He then looked at Cleria with a confident smile and asked, "Of course, that's only if it's alright with you…"

"Hm? Well… I don't know…" Cleria replied, her expression turning playful as she adopted a look of uncertainty. "I mean, look at you and look at me. Now, I must admit, I find you so incredibly cute that I would be very happy to have such a cute boyfriend… but… there's just one issue. Our age. There's a big difference between us. Would you really be okay with being my boyfriend? Wouldn't it be troublesome for you?"

"Troublesome?" Seir murmured, momentarily stunned. He cleared his throat with exaggerated indignation and said, "My beautiful lady… haven't you heard the saying that age is but a number?! Besides, we are Devils. We have incredibly long lifespans. A century from now, do you think it will matter that you were two decades older than me when I became your boyfriend and you became my girlfriend? It won't even be worth mentioning."

"Well… if you put it that way, I suppose it makes sense," Cleria mumbled, seeing the logic in Seir's words. "The age difference really wouldn't matter a century from now."

"Then I take that as a confirmation, right?" Seir asked, a confident smile forming on his face.

"Yes… it seems so, I certainly don't have any other issue," Cleria nodded with a playful glint in her eyes. "Looks like Seir-Kun will have to be my boyfriend to make sure nothing goes wrong with the world."

"Well, it's a role I'll gladly accept, especially since Lady Cleria is so beautiful," Seir said, patting his chest confidently, and quickly added, "Of course, this is all to ensure that nothing goes wrong with the world."

"Yes… yes, I understand… It's all for the sake of the world that you are willing to sacrifice yourself," nodded Cleria in understanding, and added with a smile, "Then… please become my boyfriend, and I'll become your girlfriend."

"Yes, I'll gladly be your boyfriend," Seir nodded, accepting the role.

Suddenly, Cleria added, "I've heard that boyfriends and girlfriends kiss each other to seal the deal… I have even seen humans in my territory do this… let us also do the same."

"Huh?" Seir said, caught off guard as he hadn't expected her to suddenly say such a thing.

But before he could respond, Cleria had already leaned in closer. "Here I go… please close your eyes."

Instinctively, Seir closed his eyes. Seizing the opportunity, Cleria kissed him on the cheek with a soft chu~. "There you go… done. Now Seir-kun is my boyfriend," she said, smiling. Then, with her eyes closed, she added, "Now it's your turn. You must kiss me to seal your part of the deal and officially make me your girlfriend."

'Woman, is that what you call a kiss between a pair of boyfriend and girlfriend? Or is the influence of being around Japanese people that find even holding in public as ecchi!' Seir thought to himself, but he also understood that since Cleria was just playing along with a child's antics out of amusement, she wouldn't go as far as to give him a real kiss.

'I guess something like that will have to wait when we really are a thing…' with that in mind, Seir nodded, "Okay…" Mirroring her action, he too kissed her on the cheek with a gentle chu~.

Happily, Cleria clapped her hands together. "Yay~ with this, we are boyfriend and girlfriend..."

"Yes," Seir nodded, adding, "With this, nothing will go wrong with the world."

"Fortunately, Seir-kun managed to make sure nothing goes wrong with the world..." Cleria said with a smile, and asked, "You are a hero, aren't you, Seir-kun? Saving the world!"

Seir shook his head, "Nah-ah… I am the Devil!"

Cleria burst out in giggle, "Yes, that is indeed true… a cute little Devil!"

Just after Seir and Cleria had sealed their agreement, they noticed Diehauser and Roygun, along with their entire peerage, returning. Upon seeing their siblings, Seir and Cleria–now boyfriend and girlfriend–smiled lightly and greeted them.

"Diehauser-niisama, welcome back..." Seir said.

"Elder sister, welcome back..." Cleria added.

"Oh, the press conference is over. It's time to return to father and mother's side," Roygun informed him as Seir flew over to her.

"Wait a moment, let me say goodbye to Cleria..." Seir said, flying back to Cleria, who was talking to Diehauser.

As Seir returned to her side, she paused her conversation with Diehauser, and asked him with a smile, "Are you going, Seir-kun?"

Seir nodded. "Yes."

"Alright then... we will see each other next time," Cleria said, adding, "Next time we meet, I'll bring lots of treats from my territory. The city I operate in, in the human realm, has so many unique sweets and candies... I'm sure Seir-kun will love them."

"Okay, I will look forward to it..." Seir said as he approached her. Once again, he kissed her on the cheek and said, "Then... see you later..." Before he flew off, he whispered softly, "Girlfriend~"

"Hehehe!" Cleria giggled softly and nodded, "Yes, boyfriend-kun~"

"What is this all about?" Diehauser asked, confused, as he heard Cleria and Seir whisper terms like girlfriend and boyfriend.

"Oh, nothing, niisama... just playing along with a child," Cleria responded, smiling. She gently caressed the cheek that Seir had kissed moments ago, adding, "Seir-kun is such an amusing child... I think I might have taken a liking to him."

"Is that so?" Diehauser murmured thoughtfully, his gaze following Seir, who was now conversing with Roygun. After a brief exchange, the pair of siblings waved at them before leaving with the rest of Roygun's peerage.
