“Phew and with that we are done “Roxanne said as she wiped the sweat from her forehead. She just finished doing her part of the workload.

Before they start doing their work Roxanne sorted the huge mountains of paperwork into four groups. They are ; worth considering ‘, ‘ useless ‘, ‘ need to approve’ and lastly ‘need more opinions ‘ .

Roxanne took on the two groups named ‘ useless ‘ and ‘need opinions ‘ while the other two were given to Azrael. This grouping made their work quite easy as Azreal just needed to ponder about one group.

But despite this they took a long time to finish everything. Even for Roxanne who has Ciel this was exhausting.

But it was not like she wasted her time. When she was doing those papers she managed to get some insight into how Grigori worked as an organisation. Although it was taxing it was a good result.

“ You should get something to eat sweetie. We have been holding up here for quite some time after all “ Azrael said as she looked at her daughter.

“ Yeah, I would like that. All this paperwork made me crave some sweets, “ Roxanne said as she did some stretches. Her body was a little stiff after sitting for a long time.

“ Let me call for some refreshments then “ Azrael said as she tried to ring the small bell in her table. But before she could do that she heard Roxanne saying.

“ You don’t need to do that, mother Luciana is already on it “ Roxanne said and in a few seconds they heard a sound of knocking.

“ Come in “ when Azrael said this, the door was opened revealing Luciana who was pushing a small cart inside. On that cart there are numerous cake pieces.

“ I brought some sweets for Mistress and Madam, “ Luciana said as she placed two plates with cake slices in front of both Roxanne and Azrael.

“ How does she do that? “ Azrael asked in amazement. Even for her who lived for many years this is the first time she has seen such a competent maid.

While one would think Azrael would already be aware of Luciana’s talent when she lived inside Roxanne. The answer to that question is that when Azrael was inside Roxanne she for the most of the time trained and meditated to get back to her top condition.

Due to her having an almost new soul she had to get used to her new changes or that would dampen her combat capabilities. So unless she was called for she usually doesn’t spy on her daughter’s private life.

“ I honestly don’t know mother, “ Roxanne said with a look that screams she has given up on that subject.

She once asked Luciana the same question and all she got was , “ It’s because I aim to be the perfect maid. And the perfect maid always knows what her master is thinking. “ and with that as a starting line Luciana began a full lecture about the perfect maid.

So Roxanne completely stopped investigating this matter to protect her own sanity. Even for her who is called a monster by many Luciana who was giving such maid lectures was too scary.

“ I see, “ Azrael said as she looked away from her daughter. The look Roxanne had was something she couldn’t bear to see.

There was a few minutes of silence as both mother and daughter enjoyed the delicious sweets. Well who are they kidding. They are just thinking of a different subject and hopefully avoid another awkward conversation.

It was Azrael who finally broke the ice as she said, “ sweetie do you want to go on a tour in Grigori ? “

Roxanne thought about it. To be honest she was not that enthusiastic about it because as soon as she stepped into this place Ciel had completely mapped this place completely. Whether they are secret rooms or even the private arena Roxanne knows every thing that Grigori has. So even if she goes on this tour she will not be able to have that adventurous feeling.

But even so she couldn’t possibly reject her mother’s request. Not without a good excuse off course.

“ Sorry mother but me and Luciana have some place where we need to visit “ Roxanne said, shocking not only Azrael and even Luciana herself.

“ Oh where might that be? “ Azrael asked with a pout. She thought she would get to spend some time with her daughter now that it’s the school holidays.She even planned a whole schedule of stuff they could do together.

As she thought of this she began to pout more. And suddenly she had a rather bold idea, ‘ wait could it be my daughter has a secret lover. She is at that age where girls fall in love. But then again why is taking Luciana with her then. Wait could it be to keep watch for anyone who would ruin their moment. ‘. As she thought, the more she thinks her conclusion is possible.

She looked at her daughter and said with a smile, “ Ok you could go. But remember you are still young so don’t make any hasty decisions. Oh and also remember mother would always be on your side no matter what you decide to do “ she also gave Luciana a small smile.

“Huh “ quotation marks appear on top of Roxanne’s head as she wonders what the hell her mother is talking about. She just wanted to bring Luciana and meet Grafia since her maid clearly forgot their promise . And while she is on that she would also go and meet Issei and see how his training is going by.

Unlike Roxanne who didn’t get the meaning behind Azrael’s word Luciana understood it. At least that’s what she thought but she too misunderstood her words.

Luciana blushed as she thought, ‘Is madam giving me permission to make my advance on Mistress. But how did she know that I have feelings for the Mistress? Is this the so-called mother’s instinct?

No matter what, I must not waste this opportunity. I will make the most of it and possibly confess my feelings to my Mistress. ‘ Luciana thought with a determined gaze.

And so with a whole new level misunderstanding Roxanne and Luciana teleported away.
