Issei felt vision darken suddenly as he and Tannin were swallowed by something. Due to his earlier fight he was utterly exhausted so even when he wanted to do something he was powerless to do anything.

The same could be said about Tannin. Even when he wanted to blast everything with his magic he was unable to do anything as a sudden chain wrapped around him sealing his magical powers completely.

“ Now now guys don’t get all worked up yet “ Roxanne said as she appeared before them. While she said that her mischievous smile said otherwise.

“What are you doing here Roxanne “Issei asked as he gave Roxanne a puzzling look. Why did she come to the underworld?

“ You know her “ Tannin who at his side asked as he tried his best to break free from the chains. But no matter what the chais wouldn’t even budge a little.This greatly unsettled him since he had never heard of any weapons that could witsand a full might of a Dragon king.

“ yeah she is one of my childhood friends “ Issei said his words carefully. Although he isn’t very smart he could tell that Roxanne has a reason to hide her identity.

Roxanne notices this thought, ‘oh this is a rare scene, Issei is finally using his brain. Maybe the recent fighting must have made him unconsciously use his brain power like how uses it in a fight ‘

“ Oh issei don’t worry about my identity being revealed , unless I allow it no one can see my face or even remember my name or who I am. “ Roxanne said as this was a matter of fact.

A while earlier she had a breakthrough in her magic research and managed to upgrade her privacy magic. So unless she allows it a very few could even see her face and remember encountering her.

Even when she was in Grigori no one had seen her face. The only reason they didn’t find anything strange is because of the passive hypnosis magic Roxanne releases.

“ Oh “ that was all Issei could say as his mind was still processing Roxanne’s ridiculous claims. Thankfully he was just introduced to the supernatural world or else his whole worldview would have collapsed.

Just like what is happening to poor Tannin. “ What a monster “ he muttered as his mind was filled with dread. When he heard Roxanne’s words he subconsciously looked at her face and almost fell into the hypnosis magic again.

It was only due to his strong will that he barely managed to retain his awareness. Even now he could feel that magic was affecting him.

In his entire life Tannin has never seen such a monster who could manipulate others to this extent. And this completely terrified him. He placed her threat value on the same level of Great Red and Ophis.

“ So where are we “ Issei asked as he looked around, “oh and can you please let Tannin go. I doubt it is very comfortable being tight up “ he asked as he looked at Tannin. With their earlier spar he grew to respect him. So he didn’t like to see him being tied up like a criminal.

Tannin threw Issei a grateful look. Frankly, he could somewhat understand why he was detained. He is an ultimate class being so this much preparation is expected if they are suddenly kidnapping him.

“ Sure I just chained him due to habit “ Roxanne said as she willed the new creation to return to her imaginary space. She is going to call this one Dragon Suppressor.

“Sorry about that Tannin. If you like I can offer you something as an apology “ Roxanne said after she took the chains away.

Although Tannin wanted to refuse he was a bit curious so he asked, “and that would be “

“Here “Roxanne said as she threw a fruit she bought out from her imaginary space.

Tannin catched and inspected it thoroughly. The fruit she handed was shaped like an orange. But unlike a normal orange this one had a darker grey colour. Tannin sniffed it for a few times and was surprised.

Although the colour doesn’t look that apaticing this fruit has a great aroma. After hesitation for a bit he took a bite. Immediately his face lit up. A sweet flavour flooded his taste buds. And even more he could feel dragon blood boil.

“ This has the same properties as the Dragon apple. “ Tannin said in shock. The reason Dragons need to eat Dragon apples is to improve their bloodline. When dragons are just born their bloodlines are very weak.

Normally when a Dragon is in a life and death situation they unconsciously refine their bloodlines making their potential even greater. This is why the most famous dragons are the strongest. The constant fighting made them able to refine their bloodlines to the extreme.

But in modern times fighting isn’t possible anymore. Furthermore during ancient times numerous dragons lost their lives due to not being able to make a breakthrough and dying in battle.

This is when th Dragon apple came in. While it doesn't have that much effect on adult dragons but for the little ones it was able to refine their bloodlines a little bit. With this they were able to grow older while not growing weaker.

And when they found out about this Dragon apple was extinct in the human world. So that is why everyone under Tannin’s lead came to the underworld.

All this time everyone thought the Dragon apples are the only fruit that is able to help them. But after eating this Tannin changed his mind quickly. Furthermore the effect this fruit has is even more potent than the Dragon apples since it can even affect him who is already an adult dragon.

“What is this fruit “he asked with barely contained excitement. Although the dragon race is already satisfied with the Dragon Apple no one would say no to another fruit.

“Well this fruit is called the Devil fruit. As you may have guessed this fruit is able to refine your dragon blood.

And just so you know this fruit is something that is only available in certain areas even in the underworld. In fact there is currently only one place where you can grow them “ Roxanne said as she remembered the torturous research she did to find this.

‘Well all of that effort is worth it if I managed to give her a reason to smile ‘Roxanne thought as she thought of a certain friend of hers.

Roxanne nodded and said, “Yes I do. Follow me you could even see the farm “. saying that she walked towards a certain direction.

Issei and Tannin too followed her. After a few minutes of walking they arrived at a large gate that is made from a black shiny material.

Roxanne unceremoniously pushed the door opened and shouted, “ Ereshkigal I brought some customers to your farm “
