The Speed Of The Stars

Two days later. Its another normal routine day for everyone at the Gas station. Collei and March attend to a customer Fueling up his car and cleaning the windshield. While Lyney, Seele and Amber are talking to each other about Collei's battle in Amakane.

Beidou speaks up "We got to admit at this point, that Collei's technique is genuinely the best of the best by far. The real deal. Even if you take her away from Yougou.

"It's more than just technique, Beidou. You need a helluva tight grip on natural talent to race that well on a different pass." Lyney Muttered

"But still. The matter of the fact is that Collei managed to beat all those racers with the best of the best sports cars with an Eight six from the Eighties is crazy" Amber bows her head slightly.

As Collei finishes up with a customer. A Van delivering flowers parks up. its driver steps out. holding a bouquet of Roses. Moments later Lyney grabs the flowers and the Flower delivery man leaves.

Lyney scratches his head "Flowers? Who did this come from?"

He then notices a note placed in the flowers and opens it. He takes a peek than quickly closes it.

He then turns to Collei "This is for you kid."

"Huh? Who's sending me flowers?" Collei mutters

"The Tianquan, Ningguang. She sent you these" Lyney hands Collei the letter

Collei reads the letter. Her eyes widen "No. Way..."

Seele Then takes the letter from Collei's hands "Let me read it. It says Ten on saturday. At the top of Yougou."

Beidou's eyes widen "So its happened. The Tianquan herself has challenged our girl to a downhill battle."

Amber Puts both hands over her head "The fastest racer in all of this prefecture..."

At Araumi. A Midnight purple FC Is racing up on the downhill with a sky blue Honda S2000 Following suit. The two of them driving like they are racing one another. The two of them fly past each corner with ease and finesse. As the two of them pass through another hairpin. Some spectators make some comments about the two of them

"Look at Keqing go! I'm telling you she's improving the more she drives here!"

"And that S2K That's Keqing's "student" Ganyu. She started teaching Ganyu the ways of Driving on Mountain passes just recently. And she's driving as fast as her!."

"Ganyu's a fast learner. And when Keqing doesn't want to race anyone. Ganyu is there to take her place"

Later on. Ganyu's S2K and Keqing's RX7 Are parked at a Parking lot near the start line of Araumi.

"So... Umm. Keqing? Why aren't we challenging this Eight Six of Yougou at Araumi?" Ganyu said.

"Araumi, Huh? Well cause for Ningguang. She doesn't like to bring our opponents to our home turf. And if we loose here. It would be an embarrassment to me and to the team. As Keqing drinks a bottle of water.

"How about if i challange the Eight Six?" Ganyu responds.

Keqing then smirks a little "Thats not for you to do. Just let me and Ningguang handle this. And we still got an Uphill battle to prepare with Yelan in Jinren Pass tomorrow. Leave this to Me and Ningguang. I'll see you tomorrow."

Keqing then Gets in her RX7 and drives off back to Ningguang's place. Leaving Ganyu behind to think about what she's thinking of the Eight Six.

"I'm sorry Keqing. But i gotta race this Eight Six. Somewhere not in Yougou. It's my only chance to beat her. And if i win. I'll show you that i'm that capable." Ganyu mutters

The Following morning. Collei arrives from her normal morning routine. Delivery runs in the Eight Six. Collei then steps out of the eight six and enters Arlecchino's home.

"Welcome back kid. Breakfast's on the table" Arlecchino smiles a little.

"Oh. Alright" Collei responds.

Before heading to the dining room. Collei stops and approaches Arlecchino.

"Hey Dad? Can i speak to you for a second? Collei mutters"

Arlecchino then scooches over her seat "Sure thing kiddo. Have a seat."

Collei then sits down beside Arlecchino "A Couple nights ago. I went up to Amakane pass and raced this Girl that was an old friend of Beidou's. I thought the experience driving there is going to be different."

She then mimics holding a steering wheel. "But when i was driving there. I realized how similar it is to driving in Yougou Pass"

"Hmm. That sounds about right" Arlecchino responds"

"You think so?" Collei looks to Arlecchino

Arlecchino smiles a little "Of Course. Sure Amakane is different in every single way. But a race you run there will be as similar as you doing a race here in Yougou. Think of this Collei. It is about how much Of Yougou, you bring with you to the other courses."

Collei then stands up "I see how it is father."

Arlecchino smiles "Go on now kiddo. Your breakfast is getting cold.

That night at Jinren Pass Beidou, Seele, Pela And Amber arrive at the race between Yelan and Keqing. The group stepping out of Amber's Sileighty

"They got a big pack of crowd around here tonight" Amber speaks as she looks around her surroundings

"Yeah. This race is packed. Say Where's Collei and March?" As Seele looks around and tries to find Collei's Eight Six.

Meanwhile at an intersection Collei browses her phone for directions.

"This sucks. Why does the signal here have to be so bad!?" March panics slightly 

Collei sighs As she continues to brows for directions "Can you relax for a bit March? Its slow but we're progressing.

"We might be late for this race!" March looks at Collei

"I got it! We go left" Collei then puts her phone down

"Then lets hurry!" March signals to go ahead

Collei then turns to the left and heads up Jinren Pass. The weather is getting bad. The sound of thunder clearly echos around Jinren Pass. At a parking area at the base of Jinren. Keqing and Yelan are in deep conversation

"You know you're late. Right Keqing?" Yelan Scoffs

"There's a saying Yelan. The main character comes late" "Keqing giggles a little

She then looks above. Dark clouds clearly looming around.

"Looks like we might expect some rain" Keqing then looks to Yelan.

"Yeah. Looks like things are getting even more interesting." Keqing smiles a little.

She continues on "Did you learn your lesson and De-tune your Blackbird?"

Yelan nods "Yeah From 700 Horsepower. I lowered the boost on both of them. Its making an estimated 400 Horsepower. And before you ask. I also changed the tires as well."

Then. the sounds of a car is heard going up. Then two headlights appear from the corner.

"Look who decided to show up." Yelan smirks

The eight six passes Keqing and Yelan. The Eight six climbing up slowly. Taking it easy as the entire course is packed with spectators for this race.

"I'll show you how much I've improved Collei." Yelan mutters

"I knew that you'd show up Collei" Keqing smirks

Time ticks by and Collei and March parks the Eight Six Beside Amber's Sileighty

"Look who decided to show up" Amber then puts a hand on her waist"

Collei waves and walks towards the group "Hey there guys!"

Seele and Beidou then look back "There's our superstar" Beidou winks

Collei giggles "Stop it Beidou! Lets just focus on the race"

March taps Collei's shoulder. "So. What do you think of this course Collei?"

Collei looks at March. "I kinda like it. Mostly Fast corners and wide hairpins. Helps me keep my speed up on cornering.

Amber looks at Collei "If you were to race here. Would you win?"

Collei giggles "We're seriously talking about this now huh? Well. we'll have to see on a downhill race."

The group laughs at their weird conversation. Back at the base. Both Yelan's Blackbird, And Keqing's RX7 line up at the start line. Silverwolf, with a cast on her Right arm. Guides the two and brings both of them to a stop." Then a coordinator's radio rings "The summit's clear of traffic. We're ready to race."

The coordinator then walks up to Silverwolf "We're good to go. We can start any time now."

An Intense Uphill battle at Yelan's home course is about to begin. With changing weather potentially changing the results of the race. As Blackbirds. Don't like the wets.
