Chapter 22: Consecutive Breakthroughs And... The AquaRing Kingdom

'That makes the 11th Cultivation Base Condensing Cycle.'

A small smile appeared on Azmond's tired countenance as he sat under the stunning waterfall, cultivating.

He had been sitting under this waterfall cultivating for almost a year now, as he had already reached the age of 3, though his body showed no sign of that young age.

...

'I should be able to breakthrough into the 4th Stage of Quantum Qi Condensation within the next few weeks as long as nothing goes wrong.'

Expectation crept up on Azmond's facial features for a few moments before he continued cultivating in the same spot he had been sitting in for over half a year.

.....

Three weeks later.

WAAA! WHIRL!

Azmonds breakthrough finally came as the Qi in the air started to swirl around him in massive quantities.

'My breakthrough is finally here!' He thought with an excited smile.

The Qi in the air started to be absorbed into his Dantian as his face took on a paler shade due to his intensive way of cultivating, even when breaking through.

...

A month of slowly dissolving his gains had passed.

Azmond was finally able to breakthrough into the 4th Realm of Quantum Qi Condensation!

'Here we go again...'

These were the last thoughts Azmond had before he faded into a state of unconsciousness with an exhausted look on his face.

He was going through yet another transformation as another galaxy-shaped cocoon formed around his naked body.

....

2 months later.

"..."

A boy who looked to be around 14 and a half years old emerged from within the shining cocoon.

He had long black hair that reached his waist, bright blue eyes that were as deep as the big blue ocean, and beautifully chiseled features that no mortal could hope to compare to. He was still only 5'11 but he definitely gained a few millimeters with this latest transformation.

'Looks like I finally broke through into the 4th Stage of Quantum Qi Condensation and went through yet another transformation,' he thought. 'But the question is, why do these transformations keep happening to me? I haven't heard anything like this happening to anybody else who cultivated the Divine Devil Arts Scripture... Is it something just unique to my special circumstances? I did start cultivating as an infant after all so some slight deviations to the normal way everybody else cultivates was bound to occur.'

He pondered the subject for a few seconds before he thought, 'It almost seems like my way of cultivating demands change, a change that only happens with exponential growth. That's all to say that these transformations must be related to my body needing to evolve to its full maturity fast enough so it can handle the exponential change that's caused by my way of cultivating.'

'I'm part of a very unique situation... but no matter. I'll still continue cultivating with everything I've got, no matter the price I have to pay... just like I always have,' he thought with a resolute expression.

Following his evaluation of the oddities surrounding him, he continued to go over his gains from the recent breakthrough.

It took him a few moments to decide what he wanted to look at first, but he eventually decided, as he thought, 'I guess I'll start with my cyclones...'

After landing upon that option, he inspected his Dantian space with his divine sense, and it was as he expected.

There were now 4000 Qi cyclones within his Dantian space—3000 larger-sized Qi cyclones coming in at 4 feet in diameter and 1000 far smaller Qi cyclones that were 1 inch in diameter.

A small grin emerged on Azmond's face before he said, "Let's do the usual then."

The 'usual' in this case was simply increasing the size of his Qi cyclones again.

And that was exactly what he did as time passed.

.....

2 months later.

Azmond's Qi Cyclones were now all 9 feet in diameter!

That went to say that he had 4000 miniature gas planets orbiting around his Dantian!

It was an amount and size that would make any mortal cultivator become stunned in disbelief.

'Now that that's out of the way, let's check on my physical strength...' Azmond thought to himself before he began to inspect every inch of his body with his divine sense.

What he found out surprised him greatly.

.....

'Well, I'll be damned... It looks like the physical increase after my last two breakthroughs was quite substantial, as I now possess the physical strength of a Peak-Late Golden Core Realm cultivator!'

A satisfied smile emerged on Azmond's face as he clenched and unclenched his fists, getting a feel for his newfound strength.

'I really want to test out my new strength on something...'

An eerily sinister smile appeared on his expression as he looked toward the nearest mountain he could find with provocative hand gestures.

'Why do you keep on coming after us?!? What in the lord's name did we ever do to you???' The mountain Azmond was pointing at was in utter disbelief at this monster's obvious hatred for all the mountains in existence.

However, luckily for the mountain, Azmond was having conflicting thoughts as he muttered, "As much as I want to go 'find' some punching bags, I can't for now... I need to continue cultivating if I want any hope of beating the Big Boss Goblin Piggy within the next few years."

"I need to be absolutely sure of my own strength before I go and attempt to fight the biggest green piggy of them all!" He exclaimed with a 'chivalrous' look on his face.

"Nonetheless, I may love to fight, but I don't want to fight a battle that I'd have no chance of winning... I still have my path to absolute power to pursue after all," he began.

"I don't need some big green celery head to interrupt that path of mine by cutting my life short. In addition, I also want to see that silly blue-haired Aqua again, and I can't exactly do that if I'm dead, now can I?"

A sudden surge of resolve filled Azmond's mind as he continued to cultivate even after his repeated breakthroughs.

What he had was far from enough for him to be satisfied! He wanted to reach far higher realms than a mere 4th Stage Quantum Qi Condensation!

*******

Meanwhile, tens of thousands of miles away, in the AquaRing Kingdom, there lay a vast land filled with technologically advanced machinery and buildings as high as the highest skyscrapers on earth.

And in the highest and largest building, which resembled that of a sea palace with various towers surrounding the building and guards surveying the premises holding three-pronged tridents, a girl who appeared to be around 16 years old was walking up the steps of the giant sea palace with furrowed brows.

She was adorned in a beautiful blue dress, and she had long silky blue hair, sparkling blue eyes that shined like the prettiest of blue gems, and bright pink lips that left a stark contrast with the rest of her mostly blue dominant features.

She also had a shapely body with moderately sized breasts that would best be described as the 'perfect size for your hand' type—not too small and not too big, but just right.

She was a perfect sea beauty in every sense of the word.

*tap* *tap* *tap*

The sound of her slowly and gracefully walking up the many steps that lead to the front door of the absurdly large Sea Castle echoed all around the silent palace.

The beautiful blue-haired girl continued to walk up the many steps till she heard a crisp and elegant voice come from within the Large Sea Palace as soon as she approached the large castle doors.

"Let my daughter in," the voice commanded.

The voice of the unknown woman was a refined one that allowed no refusal, and after this melodic and pleasing voice sounded out, the doors to the Sea Palace were opened.

"..."

The Beautiful blue-haired girl walked through the palace gates with a neutral look on her perfectly shaped face as she approached the origin of the elegant voice that allowed her entry into the Sea Palace.

"What have you come here for, Aqua?"

The elegant voice of the now visible owner of said voice was seen in clear view for Aqua.

The classy voice's owner was sitting upon a large crystal blue throne in the middle of an enormous, lavishly decorated throne room where the main theme was like the ocean, similar to the rest of the city and even the very palace itself.

The voice's owner was a woman who looked to be around 25 years of age. She had long, silky blue hair that reached her waist just like her daughter, and she also had the same beautiful blue eyes.

Her body, however, was in a different league than her daughter's, which Aqua noticed right away upon entering as she clicked her tongue in annoyance.

*Tsk* 'That annoying woman and her large milk jugs—she really gets on my nerves!'

The elegant woman who was sitting upon the large crystal throne had an 'extremely' well-developed body with her supple jade-like mountain tops out in the open, as even her long dark blue dress couldn't hide the full extent of her curves.

*Boing!*

"I have come here to discuss my husband, Mother," Aqua replied with narrowed eyes when she saw those large cow jugs swaying in full swing.

*Humph!*

A subtle scoff echoed throughout the hollowed halls, followed by Aqua's mother saying, "You mean that mangy boy you met in the middle of who knows where and apparently 'saved' your life?"

"He is not mangy mother! He is kind and handsome... but yes... that is the one," Aqua responded with a small pout on her beautiful face.

"I already said he would never be your 'husband' many times before," Aqua's mom refuted. "You stopped listening to anything I told you to do when you came back from your little romantic rendezvous in the jungle! That boy is a terrible influence on you!"

*Jiggle! Jiggle!*

The Queen's mounds of pudding swayed left and right with every word she spoke as she lectured her daughter in a reprimanding tone.

*Humph!* "I don't care what you think, Mother; he is and always will be my husband!" Aqua spoke to her mother with annoyance apparent in her gaze as she watched those mounds sway back and forth.

"You're such a stubborn girl! Who did you get this attitude from? It must be that useless father of yours fault!" The Queen responded with a low snort, which made her large milk jugs move around even more than before.

"If it weren't for your sudden enthusiasm in cultivating, then I would've already banned you from even thinking about that so-called 'Husband' of yours," she added.

"I love him, Mother! And there is nothing you can do to change my mind! I just came here to inform you that I have broken through to the Middle Foundation Establishment stage and will soon go looking for my husband when I break through to the Core Formation Stage."

An obsessed smile appeared on Aqua's face when she thought of her 'Husband' again, but it quickly turned to a solemn one when she spoke about her cultivation realm.

"I will not allow it!!"

An annoyed look appeared on the Queen's face as she gave an order to Aqua.

"I don't care what you think, Mother; I will go see my husband one way or another."

"No, you won't."

"Yes, I will."

"N-O, NO."

"Yes."

"..."

"..."

The voluptuous Queen and her moderately sized daughter traded blows as neither one of them was willing to back down.

*Sigh* "...Fine, I'll allow you to go see that 'husband' of yours..."

A sigh was heard as the Queen started to rub her temples with an exasperated look on her gorgeous face.

"Thank yo-" Aqua's relieved response couldn't even come out as her mother interrupted her, saying:

"But only if you reach the Nascent Soul Realm first."

"But Mother, I-"

"No 'buts'; my order is final. I will not allow my daughter to get into harm's way over some random boy she found in the forest unless she's strong enough to handle herself. I'll put you on house arrest if I have to; don't test my patience, Aqua."

The Queen's commanding voice was heard as Aqua had no choice but to reluctantly accept her mother's offer.

"...I will be on my way then, Mother; I need to get back to cultivating." Aqua spoke with an indignant look on her face as she turned around and headed back outside of the palace throne room in the direction of a tall tower that was connected to the outer walls of the palace.

*Sigh..* "That girl will be the death of me one of these days."

The tired voice of the Queen sounded out as she turned her head in the direction of a certain location in the room and spoke in a neutral tone:

"Go keep an eye on her to make sure she doesn't do anything stupid."

FWIP! FWIP! FWIP!

Following the release of her voice, a few flashes of light disappeared from behind the throne and headed in the direction of Aqua's tower as the Queen slumped back into her throne with a fatigued look on her mesmerizing facial features.

Her 'assets' were especially tired from all that swaying around she did.
