THE STRONGEST CREATURE OF THE BEAST PIRATES

Chapter 80: CHAPTER 80

Even Boa Hancock had to admit—although this man was unbearably rude, he was undeniably different from the ordinary "stinking men" she despised. He possessed a boldness that set him apart, daring to act in ways others would never even consider.

After a moment of contemplation, Hancock finally gave a haughty nod of agreement, though her words remained tinged with arrogance.

"It is said that you have copper skin and iron bones, with unparalleled physical defenses. This concubine wishes to see if that is true."

She then added, her voice dripping with sarcasm:

"Another thing to note, Alastor, rude man that you are—whether Salome throws you to the bottom of the sea halfway is of no concern to this concubine. If you die, do not dare blame me!"

Alastor laughed heartily, his confidence unwavering. "You don't need to worry about that, Hancock. We'll meet again very soon."

Without waiting for a response, he leapt into the sea, landing on Salome, Hancock's massive snake companion. Salome coiled reluctantly, her large eyes glistening with what could only be described as tears of protest.

Having accompanied Hancock for years, Salome understood human behavior well enough to know she had no choice. Dutifully, she carried Alastor through the waters. Once her task was complete, she would inevitably return to her mistress, leaving no room for concern.

Meanwhile, at Sabaody Archipelago…

Admiral Kizaru (Borsalino) descended onto the island with his characteristic casualness, stepping lightly on beams of light as though walking on air. His entrance, though graceful, was marked by his usual indifference.

Instead of immediately searching for Alastor, the man rumored to have killed a Celestial Dragon, Kizaru preoccupied himself with a more trivial task—locating his subordinate. He pulled out a Den Den Mushi, its eyes closed as it rested.

"Hello? Zhan, can you hear me?" Kizaru's lazy drawl carried across the area. "Huh? Why's there no response? Strange…"

"Zhan, are you there?"

The marine soldiers nearby exchanged bewildered glances, one of them hesitantly stepping forward.

"General Kizaru, um… you haven't dialed the phone…"

"Oh?" Kizaru tilted his head, contemplating this revelation. "Is that so?"

The soldiers stifled groans. Even the vice admirals accompanying him struggled to mask their frustration.

"Your Excellency," one of them interjected, "our priority is to locate the criminal who killed the Celestial Dragon. We can deal with Zhan later."

"Well, that makes sense," Kizaru mused, stroking his chin. Then, in typical fashion, he added, "But… the old man has a feeling that he's no longer here."

The vice admirals bristled in exasperation.

"Your Excellency! Please don't discourage the troops without even trying!"

Unfazed, Kizaru allowed his lieutenants to take charge, permitting them to lead a sweeping search of the island.

The marines' search unleashed chaos on Sabaody. Pirates who hadn't yet escaped—including the infamous Supernovas—found themselves facing unprecedented danger.

"Damn it!" Eustass Kid growled, his fists clenched. "An admiral and five vice admirals? This is insane!"

Nearby, Capone Bege shot an accusatory glare at Basil Hawkins. "If it weren't for your blasted predictions, we wouldn't be in this mess!"

Hawkins, ever unflappable, calmly shuffled his tarot cards. "I merely foresaw what was inevitable. Blaming me changes nothing."

"Then divine something useful for once!" Bege snapped.

Urouge chuckled nervously, attempting to lighten the mood. "How about you predict our chances of surviving today?"

"I already have," Hawkins replied, his tone detached. "Our defeat rate is 100%. However, our survival rate is not zero."

Bege's face turned crimson with rage. "You and your cursed mouth! Stop talking!"

Suddenly, a massive shadow loomed over them, crashing to the ground with a deafening thud.

"Who's there?!" Urouge demanded, his voice tinged with unease.

As the dust settled, the group's eyes widened in shock. Standing before them was none other than Bartholomew Kuma, one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea.

Kuma's mechanical gaze swept over the pirates as his cold, robotic voice declared:

"Urouge, the Mad Monk. Bounty: 108 million berries. Confirmed enemy. Target: neutralized."

With calculated precision, Kuma raised his paw-shaped hand, the air around it warping as a laser began to charge.

Urouge's expression darkened. "An admiral at our backs, and now this… the road ahead is pitch black."

Hawkins continued shuffling his cards, his eerie calm unshaken. "Don't worry. None of us will die today."

"Oh? Predicting the future, are we?"

A voice as casual as it was dangerous interrupted the tense scene. A yellow light shimmered in the distance as Kizaru strolled forward, his hands in his pockets.

"Well, well… the Supernovas really are as terrifying as the rumors suggest."

Urouge moved to confront Kuma, while the other Supernovas scattered. On the rooftops, Scratchmen Apoo prepared for his next move. At the end of the street, X. Drake squared off against his foes.

Kizaru, however, set his sights on Basil Hawkins.

"Speed is power. Have you ever experienced the speed of light?"

Without waiting for a reply, Kizaru's glowing leg shot forward in a devastating kick. Hawkins barely managed to transform, his massive scarecrow form absorbing the blow.

"Hmm… scary. You're all as monstrous as they say."

Despite Kizaru's nonchalant tone, the Supernovas struggled to hold their ground. One by one, they were either sent flying or pinned down, but none were captured—a testament to their resilience.

As Kizaru turned his attention toward his next target—the Straw Hat crew—another fierce battle was already underway.

Luffy and his crew were fighting a Pacifista, but the overwhelming strength of the machine—a combination of Bartholomew Kuma's physique and Kizaru's laser capabilities—proved too much. Without mastery of Haki, the Straw Hats could barely hold their ground.

The battle for survival on Sabaody had only just began.

The arrival of Admiral Kizaru brought a new wave of despair for the Straw Hats, already struggling against a Pacifista. His leisurely demeanor only heightened the tension.

"Have you seen Zhan, or perhaps that Alastor who killed a Celestial Dragon?" Kizaru asked lazily, stepping on Zoro, pinning him to the ground.

Zoro gritted his teeth, trying to resist the crushing force, but before Kizaru could deliver a finishing blow, salvation arrived.

Rayleigh, the Dark King, intervened, blocking Kizaru's attack with a single sword stroke.

"Admiral Kizaru," Rayleigh said with a calm yet commanding tone, "that man you're looking for is no longer on this island. You'd best try searching other seas."

Kizaru tilted his head, lips curling into his signature smirk. Using his Devil Fruit powers, he materialized the blade of light, Ama no Murakumo, in his hand. As the two clashed in a display of incredible swordsmanship, Kizaru replied, "The old man had a hunch… but hearing it from you, Rayleigh, the Dark King, makes it even harder to believe."

Rayleigh chuckled, though his expression darkened slightly. "Perhaps it's destiny for that man to die—or survive against all odds."

"That's not necessarily true," Kizaru said, swinging his sword with sudden ferocity.

As their battle raged, another figure entered the fray: Bartholomew Kuma. This time, it wasn't a Pacifista but the real Kuma, holding his Bible. His presence was imposing, yet his demeanor seemed contemplative.

Unknown to most, Kuma had been on Sabaody Archipelago for some time. As a revolutionary army member, his goal had always been to undermine the Celestial Dragons. Knowing his time as himself was running out due to Vegapunk's experiments, Kuma was determined to do one final act of defiance: protect his daughter Jewelry Bonney and Monkey D. Luffy, the son of Dragon.

Kuma had witnessed Alastor killing a Celestial Dragon but had chosen not to intervene. With his abilities, he could have stopped Alastor, but his allegiance to the revolutionary army outweighed any concern for the world government.

Kuma also noticed something others missed: Alastor's escape route wasn't on Sabaody but toward a ship in the distance—the Perfume Snake, Boa Hancock's vessel. However, Kuma kept this vital information to himself.

Now standing beside Luffy, Kuma prepared to act. "Farewell, Straw Hat Luffy," he said softly, raising his paw-shaped hand. A moment later, Luffy disappeared, sent flying across the seas.

Unlike the original timeline, Kuma didn't send Luffy to Amazon Lily. Instead, realizing the danger Alastor posed, Kuma sent him to Baltigo, the Revolutionary Army's headquarters. He knew Dragon would be both surprised and prepared for what was to come.

The rest of the Straw Hats were scattered as in the original events, each sent to a location that would prepare them for the challenges ahead.

As Kizaru and Rayleigh's battle came to a stalemate, Kuma's presence drew Kizaru's attention. The admiral sighed. "Kuma, you're making things very difficult for this old man. First no Alastor, and now you're scattering the Straw Hats."

He smirked, adding, "I thought I'd catch a few Supernovas and call it a day."

In the end, Kizaru left the island empty-handed, capturing only insignificant pirates. The failure to apprehend Alastor or the Supernovas left Fleet Admiral Sengoku fuming. However, there was little he could do. Kizaru's indifferent nature, coupled with Kuma's impending loss of autonomy as a slave to the Celestial Dragons, made punishment irrelevant.

Sengoku could only shift his hopes to Aokiji, planning to deploy a massive force in a future operation. Yet unbeknownst to Sengoku, the revolutionary army's involvement would make their efforts futile.

Meanwhile, Alastor had successfully escaped the chaos of Sabaody. Despite the immense water pressure of the ocean depths, his near-impenetrable defense, boasting a staggering 8,000 points, allowed him to survive unscathed.

"Thank you, Salome," he said, stroking the red boa's head. Salome, Boa Hancock's loyal companion, hissed nervously, her body trembling.

"Oh, and tell your mistress," Alastor added with a smirk, "that her bed is very comfortable."

Salome's eyes widened in shock, and she immediately dove into the sea, fleeing as fast as she could. Alastor laughed heartily, pleased with his recent exploits.

Not only had he escaped Sabaody, but he had also secured an alliance with the Pirate Empress herself. Though their partnership was tenuous—Hancock often threatening to petrify him—it was undeniably effective. Her decision to chase away navy warships and allow Salome to escort him to safety confirmed her commitment to the alliance.

The alliance provided Alastor with a valuable layer of protection, one that would play a crucial role in his future plans for the upcoming Summit War.

"Now, let's see how the world government handles this." Alastor grinned. His confidence and ambitions knew no bounds.
