The Time a God of Destruction was reincarnated as a slime.

Chapter 14: God Of Destruction

Without anyone knowing except for Beerus, Athena was working in the background to activate the Third Key, which would grant Beerus access to all of his latent power. After the successful raid on the Eastern Empire, Beerus, satisfied with the results, decided it was time to rest. Little did he know that Veldanava, the Creator himself, was trying to make contact with him.

As Beerus fell into a deep nap, he suddenly found himself transported to the same ethereal space where he had first encountered Veldanava. The awe-inspiring dragon stood majestically before him, his presence radiating immense power and wisdom."Welcome back, old friend," Veldanava greeted him with a warm smile.

Beerus smirked in response. "I thought you were enjoying your vacation, Veldanava. What brings you back here?"

Chuckling, the dragon replied, "How do you like the cardinal world?"

Beerus crossed his arms, reflecting for a moment. "It's... not bad. There are plenty of interesting individuals. Still, compared to the worlds I've seen, it's far behind in development. But I'm planning to change that."

Veldanava's eyes glimmered with approval. "I've been watching, and I must say, I like what you're doing with Celesterra. A new superpower—a model kingdom—that others will aspire to emulate. It will accelerate the development of the entire world."Beerus raised an eyebrow. "Flattery aside, I'm guessing you didn't bring me here just to pat me on the back."

"You're right," Veldanava said, his tone turning serious. "I brought you here to give you the Third Key, unlocking your full potential. As a token of gratitude for all you've done, I will also grant you access to the Voice of the World and a portion of my memories."

Before Beerus could respond, an immense wave of information surged into his mind. Athena, ever vigilant, stepped in to regulate the influx, allowing him to process it without being overwhelmed.

Beerus smirked as the data settled. "So, I'm essentially the new god of this world, with the power to do whatever I wish. Interesting."Veldanava nodded. "Yes, but remember, this power comes with responsibility. Lead them wisely. And one more thing—take care of my sisters and my daughter, Milim."

Beerus's smirk softened into a nod. "You have my word."

With that, Veldanava began to fade. "Farewell, old friend," he said, his voice echoing into the void as his form disappeared.

The Evolution of a God

When Beerus awoke, he smiled, a new sense of purpose burning within him. Velzar, who was still seated beside him, noticed his expression and asked, "What's wrong?"Beerus didn't answer her directly. Instead, he summoned both Zerna and Velzar to join him immediately. Once they arrived, he addressed them with a commanding presence.

"I'm leaving for a short time," he announced. "When I return, we will reveal Celesterra to the world."

Velzar, ever loyal, offered to accompany him, but Beerus shook his head. "This is something I must do alone."

With Athena's help, Beerus teleported to the Voice of the World (VOTW), a plane of existence entirely separate from the cardinal world. The dimension was breathtakingly beautiful, awash with vibrant colors and celestial energy.

A booming voice echoed throughout the space: "Who dares enter this sacred place without authorization?"Beerus smirked and spoke in an ancient, divine language—a tongue incomprehensible to mortals but now accessible to him thanks to Veldanava's memories. The voice paused, as if processing his presence, before suddenly yielding.

Moments later, a powerful surge of divine energy enveloped Beerus, and the VOTW began its announcements:

At Beerus's command, Athena fused all of his skills into a singular, unified ability. Instead of activating individual skills, Beerus would now manifest his will directly, unbound by the limitations of mortal rules. He had transcended to a realm where he was the law, the beginning and the end, life and death itself.

When the process was complete, Beerus's aura, appearance, and presence underwent a profound transformation. His gaze alone emanated divinity, and his power was unparalleled. The VOTW spoke again:

"Welcome, Master. I am at your command."Beerus began meticulously plan his grand return to the cardinal world, ensuring that the revelation of his country, Celesterra, would coincide with his descent. He envisioned a moment so monumental that it would be etched into history forever.

Meanwhile, in the cardinal world, life continued as usual. The Eastern Empire was struggling to recover from the devastating attack, while Guy Crimson was happy about what happened to them. The world was settling back into its rhythm—or so it seemed.

Suddenly, everything changed.Time seemed to stand still. The air grew impossibly thick, weighing heavily on every living being. Emotions surged uncontrollably through the populace: fear, death, happiness, anger—all at once. It was as though the world itself was trembling under an unseen force.

Then, the Voice of the World (VOTW) boomed across every corner of existence, from the heavens to the depths of hell:

"ATTENTION: THE GOD OF DESTRUCTION BEERUS AND SUCCESSOR OF VELDANAVA IS ABOUT TO DESCEND."Shock rippled through all realms. Be it mortals, demons, angels, or gods, no one could move. All eyes turned to the sky, where a rift began to tear through reality itself. A colossal, majestic door materialized, visible to every living being in the cardinal world, in heaven, and in hell.

No matter how strong or powerful one was, they were rendered helpless, unable to lift a finger. They could only watch, their hearts pounding with a mixture of awe and dread. For many, this moment felt like the end of days. The massive door creaked open, its sheer presence radiating overwhelming divinity. As the light poured out, every living being fell to their knees, unable to resist the gravity of the moment. From within the door, Beerus stepped forward, his form exuding unmatched power and majesty.

As Beerus descended, another proclamation from the VOTW resounded across the realms:

"CELESTERRA, HOME OF BEERUS THE GOD OF DESTRUCTION, IS ABOUT TO BE REVEALED."A radiant, blinding light illuminated the sky. Slowly, an enormous floating island emerged from the heavens. Celesterra, as vast as the Eastern Empire, descended like a paradise being brought to earth. Its beauty was unparalleled, its presence both awe-inspiring and humbling.

Beerus descended alongside his kingdom, guiding Celesterra to its predetermined location. Once it reached its destination and settled into place, the divine aura that had gripped the world began to subside, though no one could yet speak or move.

This day would forever be remembered as "The Day Heaven Descended to Earth."Once Celesterra was firmly established, Beerus issued a command to Athena. She was to erase all memories of his face from the minds of most beings, leaving only the most powerful entities—True Dragons, Demon Lords, Feldway, Zelanus, and similar figures—fully aware of who he was.

For everyone else, the memory of what had happened would remain vivid, but Beerus's identity would be a mystery, hidden from their minds. The event itself, however, was seared into the history of the cardinal world as a divine moment, marking the arrival of Beerus and the revelation of Celesterra.
