The girl said this while looking around, but instead of applause or agreement, all she got were scoffs and laughter.

After finishing the reception, we were guided by a teacher to a waiting room, where we sat in empty chairs.

“I’m Shuvina. I just joined these two’s party recently.”

After we introduced ourselves, the girl cleared her throat and straightened up to introduce herself.

“I’m Sonia Scarlet, a descendant of the first sage, and the third daughter of the Scarlet family.”

She seemed a bit different from the Sonia I knew, but her dislike for discrimination and caring nature were very much like the Sonia I met in my previous life.

Sonia’s face paled with fear at the prospect of being killed.

Fiera and Shuvina moved closer, hugging her and holding her hand to comfort her.

I squatted down and placed my hand on her back, channeling my magic to help guide hers evenly throughout her body.

“Alright. Next, we’ll work on controlling your magic and using spells. We still have time before the exam, so by then, you should be able to use it decently.”

After that, I taught Sonia how to use magic and control her power until just before the exam started, and she managed to become capable of using magic at a basic level.
