Chapter 177 – Kalaallisut

[2009 – October]

Her slightly swollen lips touched Elijah's while her forehead was pressed against his, Jean breathed raggedly as she gazed into her love's shadowed eyes, warm droplets of water running down their faces.

He looked at her as if she was the only thing that mattered, the intensity of his gaze only surpassed by its gentleness.

Her legs wrapped around his waist, Elijah lovingly held her to his chest, his hard length still buried to the hilt in her sex. She could feel his scalding seed in her womb, this mark of her love's passion making her feel wholly conquered.

Jean knew that she was his.

She knew it because there was no place that she felt safer than in his embrace, his strong arms holding her up while she felt the powerful beats of his heart reverberate in her own chest.

The warmth in her lower abdomen made her feel incredibly blissful, knowing that she was the only one to ever experience how it felt to be claimed in such a primal yet beautifully intimate way by Elijah, the proof of his passion carrying within the potential and dreams that she had for their future.

Jean knew that they were still young, too young in fact to even think about creating a family of their own, but she couldn't imagine a scene more precious than one where the two of them were raising a little boy or girl that had her love's charming eyes and gorgeous smile.

As such, she didn't only not mind it when Elijah left behind his essence inside her, she loved it.

Not to mention that there was nothing that made her feel more whole than being joined with him in a lover's fashion, the feeling of his heat and strength pushing into her sensitive depths, a place that she never wanted another man to touch.

She couldn't quite express with words the incomparable sense of belonging that welled up inside her heart when they were together, her very soul crying out and calling for him.

His warm breath passing from his lips to hers, Jean raised her small hand and delicately caressed Elijah's cheek, her fingers brushing back his dark wet locks before she parted her lips and voiced out the only three words that she knew to be irrevocably true: “I love you.”

Hearing her words, a tender light started to bloom in the depths of his eyes as his lips curled up into a soft smile that hid within such quiet joy that it made her tear up.

"I love you too, Firefly.", Elijah whispered back, his lips connecting with hers for a feather-light kiss, his arm around her pulling her even closer, causing her to moan quietly as she felt him reach even deeper inside her.

After our shower, I helped Jean dry off while she just stood there, leaning on me with her watery eyes overflowing with vulnerable affection, her full lips begging to be kissed, her soft hands wandering over my neck and down my chest, almost desperately searching for my warmth.

I had hardly finished putting on some pajama bottoms, after having helped Jean slip into a short white two-piece nightie made out of silk, when she took my hand and dragged me to our bed, gesturing for me to lie down before she moved closer and climbed on top of my chest, burying herself in my embrace.

I wasn't sure what had placed her in such a particularly cuddly mood but I had no intention to deny her either way, as I loved feeling her so close. My arms moved to wrap around her slender frame, combing through her flaming locks with my fingers while rubbing over her lower back with my other hand.

I heard her sigh quietly, humming in comfort as she basked in my warmth and presence, her slender finger drawing soft hearts on my chest, her cute little feet entangled with my own.

I brought a book to my side using a barrier and started to read it out loud for her. It was the one that we were currently reading together, one written by Nicholas Sparks.

I didn't stop my ministrations while I did so though, levitating the book next to me.

I continued to caress the warm skin of her back, my right hand having slipped beneath her top, while I enjoyed the feeling of her smooth silken hair flowing past the gaps between the fingers of my other hand.

It was still early afternoon but that didn't stop Jean from slowly drifting into sleep, her flawless face carrying an adorable little smile as she did so.

Her consciousness returning to her, Jean awoke from her nap, though she didn't immediately open her eyes.

Instead, she stayed where she was, the slow rising and falling of Elijah's chest gently rocking her slender form while she listened to her love's heartbeat, the wonderful warmth that his heated skin radiated seeping into her.

She could feel his left hand resting directly on her lower back beneath her silken top, his warm palm holding her close affectionately.

It was such a peaceful moment as if nothing else mattered while she lay atop Elijah's chest, nestling in his embrace.

Right now, she felt safe in a way that had been completely foreign to her ever since she had thought that she had lost her parents, up until before she had met Elijah. She just knew that he would protect her, her trust in his determination to do so, unshakable.

Her eyelids fluttering open like the wings of a butterfly, Jean supported herself with her hands on Elijah's strong chest as she sat up, her core pressed against her love's lower abdomen with her calves to both sides of his waist.

Rubbing the sleep from her eyes, she looked down at the dark-haired young charmer with the most beautiful shadowed green eyes and saw him put down one of the many books about foreign languages that he had bought.

Placing down the textbook about Kalaallisut, the official language of Greenland and one of the four languages spoken by the Inuit, I couldn't help but smile as I saw how cute Jean looked with her wild red locks framing her gorgeous face while sleepily rubbing her eyes.

Reaching out, I placed my hands on her hips, my thumbs brushing over the thin silken shorts that covered her lower body as I asked her softly: “Did you sleep well, Firefly?”

Smiling like a blooming flower, Jean placed her hands above mine as she replied lightly: “I always do when you're with me.”

And just as she wanted to add something, her stomach rumbled rather audibly causing her soft cheeks to take on a red hue, her eyes widening adorably while she held her stomach.

Her embarrassment making her look even more loveable, I suppressed my laughter as I stated with a mischievous smile: “I think someone's hungry.”

"I am not!", Jean protested shyly as she covered her face and dove back into my chest, hiding away from sight while I could no longer stop the amusement that bubbled up in my heart.

I wrapped my arms around her as I laughed, kissing her neck and ears while she dug deeper into my embrace.
