ALL NOVEL 25 – The quick and the dead
I knew rich people were crazy, but this is getting ridiculous.
The car is opening up, folding like a deck of cards: one half detaches and the two bodyguards disappear with a scream at the sides of the road, falling into the ditches while behind us.
“Hold onto me, my love!” She proclaims, her arms holding me so close my face is practically buried inside her boobs.
Tina’s side is going to crash into the traffic pretty soon.
“Oh, that’s your game, hm?” Tina’s grin splits her face as she lunges, plunging her ice pick into the seat’s soft fabric.
“Stop being such a social climber, you rat!” Claire hits her in the face with her naked foot, but she just give it a bite as she pulls herself into the right part of the seat, while her half turns and swirls back into the traffic. “I’ve had just about enough of you! I demand you to- iiighh!”
Claire winces as Tina takes a swing with her ice pick and almost takes off her right ear.
“You demand what, Princess? Time to eat the rich!”
“Wait you two, you are shaking too much!”
“Let’s see how good you look once you are mince-meat against the road!” Tina chuckles and hits the belt buckle next, making it explode in fragments of plastic.
“Eeeek!” Claire holds onto me as I grip the seat for dear life, literally.
“Serves you right, you little rich bitch! Now my boyfriend and I are leaving!”
“I’m only leaving for the hospital, dammit! Tina, stop swinging that thing!”
“I’m not trying to hit you, my love! Please stand still!”
“I don’t want you to kill Claire either!”
“You ugly Jacobin rat, go back to your-“ She kicks her in the face with her other foot, even as Tina swings another time.
It’s one time too many.
The piece of the car rattles and swings to the left, leaning into the water-filled ditch.
“Hold oooon!” I shout, pulling the two of them into an embrace. Tina lets out a squeal and loses her grip on her weapon just as we hit the water.
