Chapter 22: Bad Mood

"I'm baack!" Lucas exclaimed, jumping out of his house. He grew larger, his presence imposing. As he looked around, he noticed the deck was covered in snow, a shimmering white blanket.

"Finally came out of your shell, huh?" Zoro remarked from the crow's nest, his keen eyes observing the sea. His tone was teasing, but there was a hint of relief.

[A/N: Apperantly it's called a Top or Fighting Top but I like crows nest better]

Lucas made his way inside, where he met the others. "So, what have you been up to, mister wizard?" Sanji asked, his voice dripping with curiosity and a hint of irritation. Ever since they left Little Garden, Lucas had been mysteriously absent.

"What's this all about?" Lucas asked, sensing the tension.

"What I mean is, I find it weird for you to just vanish like that for days without even telling us," Sanji said, his voice rising with frustration.

"Guys, don't fight in here. Nami's resting," Usopp interjected, trying to keep the peace.

Lucas sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. "Did you read my note?" he asked, shaking his head slightly.

"Huh? What note?" Sanji asked, confusion evident on his face.

Lucas glanced at Carue, who looked nervous. Vivi grew worried, thinking Lucas might harm her beloved duck. "What are y..." she began, her voice trembling.

"This one," Lucas said, pulling out a letter from Carue's bag and showing it to them. Carue avoided eye contact, clearly having forgotten about the note.

"I've brought more water," Igaram suddenly announced as he entered the room, breaking the awkward silence.

"Hey guys... I think I found something," Zoro informed them. Usopp and Luffy rushed outside in excitement to check it out.

"I figured it wasn't enough to just tell Igaram I'd be busy for a while, so I left this letter with the little ducky here to give you guys. But I guess the berries I gave him as payment were more of a distraction," Lucas said with a smile, petting Carue gently.

Sanji took the note and read it aloud. "Gone to an island to meet a friend. I'll be back. What's this supposed to mean?" Sanji asked, still slightly confused.

"Are you telling me you went to another island and came back that fast and without a log pose?" Sanji asked in disbelief.

"Wait, I think you misunderstood something," Lucas replied, pulling out a gem similar to the one in Lilian's necklace. As he held it up, it shined brightly and opened a portal.

"I used this gem to travel," Lucas explained, as the others watched in shock. Lucas then stepped into the portal, seeming to vanish. Moments later, he popped his head back through. "See, you can come in if you'd like," he said with a grin.

Sanji and Vivi followed him through, while Igaram stayed back to tend to Nami. "What... I've never seen something like this. It's like magic," Vivi exclaimed, marveling at the new location they found themselves in.

"Where are we?" she asked in awe.

"This is GreenHaven, an island in the East Blue," Lucas said with a proud smile.

"East Blue?" Sanji repeated, his eyebrows furrowing in confusion.

"Lucas! You're back again!" Lilian exclaimed, her face lighting up with joy as she spotted him. She looked like she was with her friends, her happiness evident in every word.

"Oh, someone's excited!" one of Lilian's friends teased as Lucas emerged, his presence drawing all attention.

"And who might these lovely ladies be?" Sanji dashed forward, his eyes sparkling with interest as he prepared to greet them.

Lucas, sensing the need to intervene, suddenly stood in front of Sanji, blocking his path. "Before that, weren't you trying to confirm something?"

Lilian tugged Lucas's hand, curiosity and warmth in her eyes. "Are these your pirate friends?"

"How silly of me. My name's Sanji. Oh, how lovely it is to meet you, ma'am. May I have your name?" Sanji turned and smoothed his hair, pulling out a rose and placing it between his lips. He knelt on one leg, holding Lilian's hand to greet her.

Lucas stepped forward, his expression firm. "She's my girlfriend, the one I came to visit. Her name's Lilian," he replied, his stance a clear warning for Sanji to back off.

Sanji, sensing Lucas's seriousness, stood up, albeit a bit reluctantly. "Anyway, we're just here to confirm some things," Lucas explained, his gaze softening as he looked at Lilian.

"I guess your story checks out," Sanji said, nodding as they began to head back. But just as Lucas was about to close the portal, Vivi's voice rang out with urgency.

"Wait, is there a doctor on that island? We should take Nami there to find some help," she said, her concern palpable.

"Yeah, we cou..." Sanji began, but suddenly, the ship shook violently.

"What's all this shaking?" Vivi gasped, her face pale.

"Nami! We have to..." Vivi said worriedly, fearing that the shaking would disturb Nami and affect her recovery. But Lucas, already anticipating the danger, used Gravattack's powers to stabilize Nami's bed.

"Mahahahah!" A loud, menacing laughter echoed. They rushed outside to see what was happening, leaving Vivi with Nami and Igaram guarding the door.

"What's going on?" Sanji asked, lighting a cigarette with a swift, practiced motion.

"Oh, Sanji! We're being ambushed," Luffy replied, his expression a mix of excitement and determination.

"Well, I can see that," Sanji replied dryly as he and Lucas stepped onto the main deck. They were swarmed by pirates, their guns aimed threateningly.

"I'm not in a very good mood today, so could you not point that gun at me?" Lucas said, a vein throbbing on his forehead.

"Five... There can't be just five people here. Search the..." The enemy captain began, but was abruptly interrupted. As the Straw Hats watched, the man pointing his gun at Lucas suddenly flew into the sea with a massive splash.

"I said lay off me," Lucas said, his voice cold and unyielding.

"You! How dare you lay your..." The leader tried to retort, but Lucas's fist met his face before he could finish, sending him sprawling.

"Insolence! I am the great Pirate Captain Wapol," Wapol declared, trying to intimidate Lucas. But Lucas couldn't care less. He transformed into a skeleton-like creature with a slimy substance covering his body, increasing the molecular density of his fist. He punched Wapol again, sending him flying even further.

"As I said, I'm currently in a bad mood. So I don't care who you are," Lucas stated, looking at the remaining pirates. He then morphed into a hybrid of Ghost Freak and Gravattack, levitating all the trespassers and throwing them back onto their ship. With a final swipe of his fingers, he sent them and their ship soaring into the sky.

"Fuwuu, that was somewhat relieving," he sighed, returning to his normal form. The other Straw Hats stood in awe, once again amazed by Lucas's display of power.

"That was awesome!" Luffy's eyes gleamed with excitement as he watched the enemies disappear into the sky.
