Volume 1 Chapter 13: Where Did This Seductive Vixen Come From!
The class meeting took about half an hour, but the cafeteria was still crowded, filled with new students in their military training uniforms.
Ning Chu, feeling angered over the misconstrued sexual orientation, followed Wen Yang with a cold and distant expression, not saying a word for quite some time.
“Tomorrow, we’re supposed to wear those quick-dry clothes. They said there’s going to be physical training.”
“Oh.”
“Do you have sunscreen on your side? I’ve gotten a shade darker in these past couple of days.”
“No.”
Wen Yang ordered his food, sat down, and looked at Ning Chu’s cold demeanor. He sighed in helplessness. “I was just making a joke.”
“Fine, fine, I was wrong.” He placed a piece of sweet and sour pork onto Ning Chu’s plate. “Here’s a piece of meat as an apology. I won’t bring this up again.”
Lured by the offer of a piece of meat, the icy expression on Ning Chu’s face softened slightly, and the tension in the air was diffused. He sighed in resignation.
Being mistaken for a woman and having his sexual orientation questioned were the most sensitive issues for him right now.
“Your reaction wasn’t this big when Shaoqing mentioned it…”
“Well, I didn’t have any expectations for him in the first place!”
Ning Chu gave Wen Yang an indignant look.
That guy was a ruthless villain in the book, having preyed on countless girls. Ning Chu only hoped that Zhang Shaoqing would be a decent person, and he couldn’t ask for more.
Wen Yang, on the other hand, was different. Although he was a harem-scum in the story, all the girls he had relationships with did so willingly, and some even initiated the seduction.
Ning Chu had higher expectations for the protagonist.
It would be best if he remained a virgin forever! If the male protagonist was a virgin, even if the heavens themselves intervened, they wouldn’t be able to advance the main plot!
“Wen Yang!”
Lost in thought, Ning Chu suddenly heard a cheer and looked up in confusion. He saw a girl from their class approaching, holding her tray with excitement, and plopping down beside Wen Yang.
Who is this?
“Yuan Yuan, what’s up?” Wen Yang glanced at her and continued eating.
“Are we going to the bar tonight?”
“I don’t think so, I’m broke.”
Yuan Yuan leaned seductively against Wen Yang’s shoulder. “I’ll treat you~”
Ning Chu furrowed his brows in annoyance. Where did this seductive vixen come from? She’s flirting with the male protagonist right in front of the author?
Damn, he was so envious!
Was it just because he looked a bit handsome and had the aura of a male protagonist?
Wen Yang hesitated for a moment, as he had never been to a bar before and was curious yet apprehensive about the idea. He was torn between going and not going.
“Oh, by the way, the twins from my dorm are also going~”
“Twins, huh…”
Ning Chu suddenly remembered when she mentioned twins. The chapter where the twin is the heroine was quite straightforward: both of the sisters and a tipsy Wen Yang ended up having a rough and raw babymaking sex in a bar, It was an exceptionally intense storyline, since the story of the twins spanned for three chapters and eight thousand words.
The current girl, Yuan Yuan, wasn’t mentioned in the book. She probably got drunk by that time.
“Are you going? If you’re going, we can leave now.”
Seeing Wen Yang’s excitement and his impending temptation by the twins, Ning Chu quickly intervened, “No, we said we’re playing doubles tonight.”
“Huh?”
Wen Yang looked at him with a puzzled expression. “You said that last time too.”
After experiencing the ordeal of being locked up in a double cell once, Wen Yang no longer looked forward to playing games with Ning Chu.
Ning Chu racked his brains for a new excuse, “Didn’t the counselor ask you to fill out forms for us?”
“It’s not a good idea for both vice-class monitors to be assigned tasks right after taking office. What if they mention it to the counselor…”
Ning Chu put on a concerned expression, trying to convince him, “Let’s do it next time. We’re pretty tired from the military training lately.”
Yuan Yuan turned to look at Ning Chu, her eyes filled with a strange suspicion. She scrutinized him from top to bottom, completely bewildered.
Why does it matter to you whether we go to the bar or not?
“That makes sense,” Wen Yang accepted Ning Chu’s advice and, with a somewhat embarrassed expression, said to Yuan Yuan, “We have a few things to take care of tonight, so how about another time?”
“Yeah…” Yuan Yuan’s expression turned cold, and she let out a soft hum of discontent, casting a suspicious glance at Ning Chu. Reluctantly, she nodded her head. “Fine…”
Fortunately, the current Wen Yang, although a bit awkward, wasn’t the kind of womanizing character who thought with his lower body.
Men can be quite stubborn, that’s normal.
But he was worried that if he didn’t keep an eye on Wen Yang, he might end up going out with some girl one day.
Watching the girl leave, Ning Chu’s tense heart finally relaxed, and he sighed, rubbing his temples in frustration.
Now he had to watch over Zhang Shaoqing to prevent him from getting hurt emotionally and turning into a villain, while also keeping an eye on Wen Yang to ensure that he didn’t get taken advantage of by aggressive girls.
It was really tough.
“Women are so troublesome. If you don’t want to go, just say so. No need to make a face,” Wen Yang muttered, focusing on his meal.
Ning Chu nodded in agreement, “You can’t stand such women; they’re just annoying.”
But suddenly, Wen Yang looked up, his gaze strange and direct as he stared at Ning Chu, startling him into immediate silence.
He didn’t find out anything, did he?
“Are you jealous of my good luck with women? You won’t let me go out both times,” Wen Yang teased with a smile, “How about I introduce you to a few?”
“Can you?!” Ning Chu’s eyes lit up, but he quickly sighed dejectedly, “Forget it.”
While he was tempted by Wen Yang’s proposal, he still hoped to find a good girl in Little Emperor Wen’s world without being too much of a playboy. That requirement seemed to be quite challenging.
“I’ll go get some more rice.”
Wen Yang had a big appetite and had already finished his meal, so he reluctantly scooped some of his own dishes onto Ning Chu’s plate to avoid wasting them.
Burp
“What’s wrong?”
“I can’t eat anymore.” Ning Chu pushed his plate forward and started playing with his phone with one hand. “I’ll share my dishes with you to avoid wasting them.”
Wen Yang was stunned for a moment, looking at the food that Ning Chu had barely touched. He asked, “Can you get full like this?”
“Yes.”
“You need to eat more to grow taller.”
Ning Chu let out a belch and said with a wry smile, “I know, I’m full.”
His appetite really wasn’t that great. He couldn’t even finish half of the rice from a normal fast food meal, and whether it was ordering takeout or eating at the cafeteria, he always ended up with leftovers.
“Okay, fine.”
Wen Yang continued to eat heartily, but his gaze remained fixed on Ning Chu.
No wonder they said that good friends were like siblings. Having a good friend did indeed make one feel at ease.
It was just that this friend looked too young, had a feminine appearance, and was a bit prone to jealousy and meddling.
Another date had been ruined.
Wen Yang sighed deeply in his heart, but he couldn’t blame Ning Chu for it.
