Traumatized and Betrayed By Everyone!

Chapter 6: Obsidian Academy (3) Rule Girl – POV

“A new school year” I spoke out with a happy yet serious expression.

I look out at the courtyard filled with old and new students arriving for the new school year to begin again. It was my first year in high school like most others arriving, but I had also attended the middle school section of the academy. So, I had also known most of the people arriving today.

My name is ‘Freya Williams’, I’m at the height of around 140cm. Which is quite short for most girls in this school for their age, but I don’t lose to most girls due to looks. I have shoulder length silverish grey hair which I take from my mother’s side as she comes from Sweden and piercing green eyes from my father. I am president of the disciplinary committee, who enforces the rules on students who don’t follow them or causes problem for other students who are trying to have a good school life. But most people have the tendency to see me as a cute animal or mascot which can get kind of irritating.

I had started going around the courtyard correcting different students’ uniform was surprisingly very few, which had made me kind of happy because people are taking this academy’s prestige seriously.

I spoke to a few helpers that was requested by the student council president, 2 of whom I was good friends with since childhood. So, I could essentially call them my childhood friends.

When it was starting to get close to the start of the day a voice had caught my ears.

“Well. If I attend school when needed and take the exams. I can squeak by.” A slightly deep voice was murmured from a tall guy walking past me,

“Hey! Did I hear that right? You’re already planning to skip school even though it’s your first day?!” I sternly asked him to show I won’t take nothing for an answer.

I stared up at the boy who didn’t completely look in my direct and I could only see his blue eye peering from his long dark hair down at me showing dark emotions towards me. This causes me to stiffen slightly because I have never seen a cold stare from someone of my own age and it was like peering into a deep darkness.

Hey stares at me for a few seconds as if deciding what to say but he had instantly turned his back to me and continued walking away from me into the school, disappearing amongst the crowd of students.

“Hey! Get back here! I’m talking to you!” I shout after him after shaking of my shock of the looks he gave me.

“H-hey, Pres? He’s not worth it right now. It’s just the first day of school and you’ll find another chance to straighten him.” One the girls in the committee that was helping me out was trying to warn and stop me.

“She’s right President!” The other person who had only joined the committee this year at the start of high school who was also agreeing with her.

“Students like that shouldn’t be welcome here. I’ll find him again, but we must also report this to Lena.” I muttered calming my breath before replying to them to which they started nodding their head in agreement because if anyone can do something, it would be her.

“Right. Time for class everyone! That includes you 2!” I call out to the people still around on the courtyard as the 5-minute warning bell goes off to let people know they should be heading to class. Also calling out to couple of my friends as the energetic one hugs the serious one.

“”Ok!”” They call out as they entered the school.
