"Good morning, Watson," greeted the young man, his voice calm and collected.

"Is there anything noteworthy to pay attention to?" he inquired, his eyes fixed on his reflection in the mirror.

The room was luxurious and spacious, with high ceilings and ornate furnishings that exuded elegance and sophistication. Yet, there was no one else in the room with him.

Watson, the robot assistant, replied in its usual monotone voice, "The protagonist Kudo Shinichi and the heroine Mori Ran have taken a flight to New York. They are expected to arrive at the airport in approximately nine hours."

The young man let out a sigh as he contemplated the passage of time. "Has it really been twenty years since I arrived in this world?" he murmured, a hint of nostalgia in his voice.

It had been two decades since he had been reincarnated in this world, a place filled with psychotic murderers, corpse lovers, and evil organizations. However, he had been given a unique advantage as a world traveler, having been granted an optimized Hanma clan bloodline as part of his newbie package. This had transformed his body into that of a devil, with limitless physical abilities, intelligence, senses, nerves, and even longevity.

Over the years, he had tested all kinds of weapons, from conventional firearms to cutting-edge technology, and had emerged unscathed every time. He was virtually invincible, a monster in human form.

But that wasn't his only advantage. At the age of five, he had met Vermouth, a notorious member of the Black Organization, for the first time. Using his super intelligence and knowledge of the plot, he had easily gained her trust and admiration, and she had taken him in as her adopted son. It was then that he had activated his unique system, which had granted him even more power and abilities.

As he stood there, gazing at his reflection in the mirror, the young man recalled the past, 15 years ago.

Flashback.

A five-year-old boy with black hair and black eyes, dressed in ragged clothes, gazed at a beautiful blonde woman sitting on a bench, watching children play with a sense of sadness in her deep, melancholic eyes. As he stared at her, a newly activated system appeared in front of him:

It had found a suitable female character to bound.

A woman named Sharon Vineyard, whom the boy did not know yet, so his current affection level for her was zero.

The system presented him with a package to obtain the first female character, which he eagerly accepted. It also offered him a Detective Potion, which would provide him with knowledge, skills, and sub-skills related to detective work. He even sensed her inner emotions, invisible killing intent, and could predict her actions under certain circumstances, just like Sherlock Holmes.

The boy then continued his observation by noting Sharon's hard-working nature and surmising that she must be a trained soldier, policeman, spy, or professional killer. Sharon was astonished by his sharp insights, particularly about her being a spy, which she found unsettling. As the boy's affection degree increased due to his insightful observations, his temperament and knowledge changed accordingly.

The boy's innocence and charm piqued Sharon's interest, and she found herself drawn to his mysterious aura. He even noticed her cautious and meticulous nature, which impressed her. She patted his head and smiled eerily, and thus began their first encounter.
