Chapter 190: Guda is green?
"Whaaat?!" Upon hearing the name that excited her, Gudako was utterly shocked. She had been planning to capture this guy named Di... yes, Di-brush, and then disguise him as her beloved Red Hare . She thought that this way, she would have a mount for tomorrow's racing competition. Although it would be a bit simple, it would still work. Besides, her Red Hare was already leveled up to 100, far surpassing this Di-brush's abilities. If possible, she definitely wanted to get her beloved Red Hare back!
However, just at this moment, she learned from Di-brush himself about the whereabouts of her beloved Red Hare. This piece of news was probably the only good thing she had heard in the past few days.
Instantly, Gudako's eyes reddened, and she stared at Di-brush fervently, shouting, "Where?!!!"
Seeing Gudako in this passionate state, Diarmuid was taken aback. In this moment, he didn't see her as the Savior of Humanity but more like a human possessed by something sinister.
Yet, as soon as this thought crossed Diarmuid's mind, he swiftly dismissed it. Gudako was here to save the world, a true hero. It was unfair for him to think of her in such a negative light.
Illusion, it must be an illusion!
"Ah, it's just... over there?" Diarmuid turned around and pointed behind him, towards an intersection.
Earlier, he had coincidentally seen Red Hare there, and since Gudako seemed to be looking for it, he had returned to let her know where it was.
Before he could finish his sentence, he saw Gudako disappear with a 'whoosh,' rushing towards the location of Red Hare like a starving tiger pouncing on its prey.
"So fast!"
Diarmuid watched the afterimage left by Gudako's rapid departure and was amazed. "What kind of speed is this?!"
As a Lancer renowned for his agility, he never thought he could reach that level of speed. This kind of velocity was probably only attainable by the fastest Heroic Spirits in human history.
At least, he had no chance of catching up himself.
In awe of Gudako's extraordinary speed, Diarmuid silently raised his thumb in approval. "Truly worthy of being the savior of humanity!"
"Red Hare!!!" Gudako sprinted while shouting, her face flushed like someone in heat.
She was getting closer. In an instant, Gudako reached the intersection. Now all she had to do was take a right turn, and she would arrive at the place where her beloved Red Hare, was located!
Right as she reached the intersection, Gudako's lightning-fast sprint finally hit the brakes.
Standing at the intersection of the streets, Gudako looked to her right and caught sight of a crimson-colored centaur distributing flyers on the street.
"Red Hare!!!" Upon hearing the familiar voice, Red Hare stopped handing out flyers and turned to look in the direction of the voice. "Oh my, isn't this master?"
"Red Hare, I missed you so much!" Shouting with joy, Gudako opened her arms wide and ran towards the direction where Red Hare was, resembling a child who had gotten lost in a mall and finally found their parent.
At this moment, Gudako was undeniably happy.
"Allo?" Just as Gudako was about to reach Red Hare, she suddenly noticed that something seemed off. Why was there a little girl sitting on Red Hare's back, happily enjoying a lollipop? And there were several other children around, petting her beloved horse, even touching it?! Gudako's heart skipped a beat, and she felt the world darken around her.
*Thud!* Her legs gave out, and Gudako collapsed to her knees on the ground. Clutching her chest tightly with both hands, her heart was racing uncontrollably. "Why... why... why..."
Observing her horse playing happily with the other people, such a heartwarming scene, yet for some reason, Gudako felt as if a green light of love had illuminated her head. She realized she had been fooled!
"Oh no, master, are you okay?" Worried, Red Hare saw Gudako suddenly kneel on the ground, one hand pressed against her chest, and grew concerned.
"I'm fine..." Using a nearby railing for support, Gudako struggled to get back up onto her feet. Though she claimed she was fine, it was clear that she was glaring at the children with intense red eyes, unable to hide her murderous intent.
*Huff... huff... huff...* After taking several deep breaths, Gudako managed to suppress the raging anger within her. With a forced smile, she turned her gaze towards Red Hare.
"Everything is just fine~."
"Well, that's good to hear." Red Hare responded, then playfully ruffled the hair of one of the nearby children.
Little did he know, this action by Red Hare only added to the torment of Gudako's already fragile heart. With a distinct *crack* sound, Gudako's heart shattered.
Seeing Red Hare affectionately patting someone else's head, a mix of envy, jealousy, and hatred surged within Gudako. Her eyes were wide with envy, almost popping out of her head.
But... these were all trivial matters, just temporary setbacks. In the end, Red Hare still belonged to her! With each step, Gudako approached Red Hare, her pace heavy as if she were carrying lead in her shoes. She carefully concealed her aura, so no one noticed anything amiss about her.
Among the playing children, not a single one was aware that the Chaos·Evil... had descended!
A little girl who had just received a flyer turned her attention to petting Red Hare's belly. Suddenly, she felt a chill down her spine and turned around, only to find Gudako standing there. Recognizing her as a gentle older sister type, the little girl greeted her, "Oh, hello, big sister."
*Thump!* Upon hearing the little girl's voice, Gudako's reddened eyes instantly shifted towards her. Their gazes met, and the little girl's smile froze. Cold sweat broke out all over her body as she felt like she was standing in a pitch-black graveyard surrounded by abhorrent ghosts. The overwhelming killing intent began to materialize, causing the little girl's sanity to rapidly plummet.
Clearly, a young girl like her couldn't withstand such a terrifying presence. Just by looking at her, one could tell – she... had wet her pants.
