Ultimate Herrsher in DxD

Chapter 17: [17]Azazel's bad day

Azazel was having a great day, especially since he found out his old friends whereabouts.

Azza was one of the very first angels that had fallen from grace, and what was what caused her to fall?

Love.

She's fell in love with a human and left behind her angel hood for him. Unlike most angels that fell for lust, envy, sloth.

She fell in love.

But of course despite that, the sands of time are a cruel thing. She continued to live as she saw her own husband and child die to old age. It was horrible, yet at the same time it was the reality of the world.

That nothing is truly eternal.

After that she didn't know what to do. That was untill Azazel reached his hand out to her, offering her a place in Grigori, a faction of fallen angels. And she as a consultant that trained human that Grigori picked up due to their talents.

Azza was quite reluctant at first when Azazel's had offered her the spot at the organization but eventually gave in as she didn't have anything left to do.

That was when she discovered her love for teaching and taking care of the young, watching them as they grew stronger and more dependable.

She continued to fill the spot for years to come... until she became tired. As the years continued she began to feel a sense of emptiness. Especially the political battles of the magical world tired her out.

Teaching the future soilders of Grigori didn't give her the same sense of fulfillment as before. The sense of the hole in her heart being filled was no longer there

So one day decided to quit and disappear completely.

With the money she herself had in a hidden account she built an orphange so that she could save children that didn't have a home. Despite leaving Grigori she still had a passion for children.

Over the years she took in children left and right, she took care of them and nurtured them.

But one day a knock came to her orphanage door, when she opened the door she wasn't surprised to see a baby in a basket as that was how she obtained most of the children in her orphange.

Picking up the basket, not knowing that this child would change her life, she saw a small card that read on it 'Otto Apocalypse'.

Going back to Azazel, after many years of searching he finally found a lead. It seems like her old friend was running some sort of orphange, away from all troubles and magic.

He wasn't really surprised at this since he knew that she had a passion for teaching and raising children.

And so, he went to Germany and visited the place. He was worried about her afterall and was wondering how she's been all these years.

When he finally arrived he was surprised to be received by a handsome young boy that look like he was on his 18's, Aazel tought that he might be one of the children from the orphanage that stayed to help.

The boy was incredibly kind, even offered to let him in, acomplete stranger. Azazel felt that he should teach the kind boy about being weary of strangers.

But for now he only rufled his hair.

As the boy named 'Otto Apocalypse' offered, he followed him so that he could take him to Azza.

After a few minutes of walking they finally arrived In the room that she was in...or rather was supposed to be in.

The people of the room had subtle yet readable signatures of mana. Azazel's mind raced as he tought of figuring out what was happening but before he could do anything, he was restrained without a hitch despite him being Ultimate Class.

He's Never felt so embarrassed before, if the other back at Grigori found out about this, it would become his social funeral.

As the 'kind' boy that had locked the door behind him walked around to stand face to face with him. The mask that he wore fell and Azazel's realized that he was fooled.

All he could say was "Well Fuck" as he knew that he was in quite the pinch.

His very good day had suddenly turned into a very, very, bad day.
