Virtual adventure F.O (Fantasy Overdose)

We stand beside each other waiting for the wave to appear, then a huge chunk of the floor descent and raise with the enemy standing in it.

The wave has appeared and seems to be in a formation we see 10 small wyverns in the back 5 orcs with a big shield in the very front the minion enemy behind the orcs and finally the mini boss enemy in the middle.

"the enemy appear in a formation, just attacking the front won't do us any good because of the orcs what should we do " I inform Nathan

"This will be hard, elly do you have a way to freeze them" Nathan ask

"my arrow could probably do it" I answered

"alright use your arrow to freeze all 5 orcs and after that, we'll go to do a pincer attack," he said

"a pincer attack?" I said with a confused tone

"It's an attack strategy where one team attacks from one side and another team in the other " he answered

"Okay I think I understand now" I replied as I take out 5 wooden arrows" Excluding these in my hand I only have about 27 arrows left, so you'll be the one mainly attacking after I ran out "

"Understood, let's go " he replied

"Okay"

I imbued my arrow with ice energy and draws the bow with it.

'alright elly you can do it just breathe and focus ' I thought in the third person

I shoot my arrow one by one in rapid succession at every one of the orcs.
In anticipation they raise their shield but inevitably failed, the arrow itself just bounces off the shield but the ice spell still does its job engulfing the feet, and body even the hands of the orcs.

"let's be fast those ice won't last long," I said

"I'll take the right and you'll take the left " Nathan replied

"Understood. [water acceleration ] " I said as I prepare for the run.

We ran to the side that we choose from our distance we would need roughly 2 minutes to close our distance.

Unfortunately from the time I froze the orcs and start to run, the wyverns complete their spell chant and were about to shoot us.

'darn it's no good ' I thought ' but if I deploy a barrier and shield the orcs might break free... Fine charge through it is '

With the speed boost of my skill, I tried to charge through the barrage of attack from the wyverns.

elemental balls made from the wyverns fall upon me with my speed I tried to dodge them by going left and right and miraculously I managed to Dodge all of the attacks, Nathan also seems to be able to dodge the attack easily probably because of his time with the beta test. Anyway

"elly charge up your light ray " Nathan shouted

"okay "I shout back

We're halfway to closing the gap, I start to charge my light ray spell and my speed boost expires but it doesn't matter.

Half a minute has passed, and we have closed our gap from the enemy and are in position for attack.

"elly at the same time on my mark [fotiyá]"

"yes"

"Alright Now!"

"[light ray]"

"Take this!!"

A circular rune appears from the ball of light in my hand the ray seems to be stronger and bigger than before.

The ray collides with the orcs from one side and the blast of fire from the other ice melts and shatters everywhere and before long all 5 orcs have been defeated.

The ray is still going so I use it to kill all the minion enemies on my left and Nathan's right side practically killing all the minion enemies in the wave.

After that, only the miniboss enemy and the wyverns are left so we gather to assess the situation

"good work there," Nathan said

"Thanks, anyway what's the big enemy that well has to face "

"there look, they jumped back before your ray can hit them so they're more intelligent than the enemy we face before "

Away from us, I can see the mini-boss enemy.

"is that a chimera and a Cerberus," I said surprised

"yes 3 headed big dog and a hybrid of a lion, snake, and goat " Nathan answered

"do you know what they do "

"no, but one thing for sure is that the chimera have a poison attack and the Cerberus have a fire attack, I'll take on the Cerberus"

"alright but before that, I need to kill the wyverns first or they'll be a hindrance," I said "ill take care of them " I take out more of my iron arrow.

"I'll try to take the mini-bosses agro"

Nathan ran up to the two mini-boss enemies and try to inflict their agro on him but only manage to catch the chimera.

Cerberus runs to the place below the wyverns and makes a pose.

The eye of the Cerberus then lights up red and a dark red aura leaks out from its body.

The aura that leaks from its body then quickly moves to the wyverns and gets absorbed by them.

At that moment red lights appear from the wyverns, I felt great danger from them and it turned out to be right, they are charging an attack and it was not the colorful elemental ball like before but it was fire, fire lances.

"sh*t, [barrier]" I deployed a barrier with 7 percent of my mana reserve to defend against that attack.

A moment after I deployed my barrier the attack started, the wyverns that have done charging their magic shoot fire lances at me.

Their attack is stronger than before not only it's projectile speed faster its power is stronger it's no doubt that I would die immediately if I get hit by it... Wait no I still have that defense mechanism from the new title.

The As those spears collided with my barrier explosions happened fire roared and smokes rises.

After the smoke and fire cleared there can be seen my barrier that is broken and me in the middle although I'm not wounded thanks to my barrier.

I've drawn my bow with my arrow infused with water magic and shot one of the wyverns
Despite them being buffed it seems that only the magic power is increased not the defense potential.

Due to the explosion from the magic I managed to kill one and wound 2 more besides it.

I then quickly draw and shoot two more arrows killing 3 more wyverns and wounding 2 before one of them shoot a lance at me.

"Elly watch out" Nathan screamed, but alas it was too late

Me not expecting a retaliation that fast is taken by surprise and got hit by the lance.

Fortunately, I have an automatic defense mechanism the blessing will protect me if an attack is sure to hit me.

A thin wall made of ice appear to protect me from the lance, although it was thin it manage to stop the attack without a scratch.

"holy this thing is strong, " I said surprised

More lances shoot at me but this time I manage to react and Dodge by running away from it.

When I'm at enough distance I take my arrow again, draw the bow, and shoot the wyvern with an arrow that's infused with light magic.

Even tho were a bit far due to the light magic infused in the arrow the arrow manage to fly fast and kill one wyvern.

"Alright 5 down 5 more to go," I said

A little earlier the wyverns seem to have changed their attack pattern, instead of attacking in huge barrages they now attack less in quantity but more consistently in time between attacks.

So the plan is to attack first before they retaliate.

Quickly I take my arrows from my quiver infuse them with light magic and shoot them in a quick succession.

"[snipe]"

With the addition of my art, some of the arrows manage to hit and kill three of them.

"alright that's 6 iron arrows wasted I'll get closer"

At this point, I still have 17 arrows.

Five of which are iron five are wood and the rest silver, I'll save the silver for the chimera.

"[water acceleration]"

With my speed boost I start to get closer to the wyvern while running I also take all of my wooden arrows and infuse them with ice magic because ice magic seems to be the most damaging for a single target.

While I got closer the remaining 2 wyverns attack me with their javelins, their number is not as many as before so the attack is less chaotic and easier to dodge, I just need to move left and right.

Seeing me getting closer the Cerberus run and lunge at me trying to bite me, but I dodge it by ducking, and because of the jump, the Cerberus right now is away behind me, knowing this I quickly draw my bow and shoot the remaining wyverns.

Seeing as I have killed the last remaining wyvern I looked back facing the Cerberus.

"alright its one on one now big guy, Nathan is supposed to take you on but ill do it in his stead," I said mockingly.

"ggrh" the Cerberus grunts and let out a fiery breath from the gap of its teeth.

[3-headed Cerberus [lesser form]

'alright, it's three times the giant wolf we fought yesterday in terms of health, and I've drained 14 percent of my mana reserve, I have to be careful '

I then look at my side and see Nathan still fighting the chimera, Nathan looked a bit bruised but not exhausted while the chimera have tons of wounds on it.

Still facing the Cerberus I take the first initiative.

With the tree wood arrows in my hand, I infuse them with ice magic and shoot them in a fast succession

"[snipe]" The arrows fly and 2 of them hit the Cerberus in the front legs immobilizing it for a moment, but before I could do anything the ice melts.

'126 damage that's a bit low' I thought, probably because I use the wooden arrow that time.

Cerberus makes 4 large fireballs above him but the fireball moves slowly toward me, the Cerberus then run at me to try and claw or bite me.

I Dodge to the left while also taking a silver arrow from my quiver and infusing it with ice and then stabbing it to its right front leg.

[78 damage dealt ]

'darn, only that much for a silver arrow, wait I almost forgot ' I thought, I almost forgot about a skill I have that can make me practically anything out of ice as long as it's not too big.

The Cerberus raises its leg and tries to claw me fortunately I backflip before it could hit me.

Now that I have a little breathing room I cast my skill.

"[ice spike] " While I cast the skill I think about a sword in m mind a dual-edge light sword that also can be effective in piercing.

A moment after that a dual-edge rapier appear in my right hand, I quickly shoulder my bow and engage in close combat with the Cerberus.

It tries to bite me but I manage to back up and get a few hits on its nose by quickly stabbing it before it gets back up and jumps back.

Seeing this I muster my strengths and throw my sword at the Cerberus.
The sword flies at the same speed as my arrow and hits its neck dealing a decent chunk of damage.

The Cerberus then calls upon fire lances and launches them at me.

"[barrier]" In anticipation of that I summon a barrier, I also take my bow and a few silver arrow.

I used 10 percent of my mana pool on that barrier alone because of the warning from the system scan.

The lances collide with my barrier, fortunately, 10% is just enough to hold the barrage the last lance that collides breaks it.

I infuse 3 silver arrows with ice magic and with [snipe] quickly shoot it at the Cerberus.

This time all 3 managed to hit it also dealing a good chunk of damage.

[calculation finished in total 952 damage is dealt to the Cerberus ]

Following the message the Cerberus starts to growl very loudly and a dark red aura emerged from it.

'it has started its rage phase'

The Cerberus then summons much more fire lances to throw at me.

'it'll be a waste of mana if I use a barrier ill just evade  it the best I can'  "[water acceleration ]"

To evade the lances I run to the right to evade the first burst that is thrown at me and run towards the Cerberus, while also shouldering my bow.

To evade the barrage of lances I ran in a zig-zag pattern, and jumped around a few times, fortunately in just 25 seconds I manage to close our gap.

"[ice spike] " I materialized the same dual-edged rapier from before.

The Cerberus lunged at me, I spun around while slashing at its neck and leg.

[66 damage dealt]

'that's a small amount considering I damaged its weak spot earlier, it seems that the Cerberus increased its defense stat'

Right now I'm on the right side of the Cerberus, the Cerberus spun trying to whip me with its tail but I manage to dodge it by doing a wide back handspring.

After the spin, the Cerberus is facing me and lunges at me but I manage to duck before it could bite me and stab its neck from below it.

[50 damage dealt]

Still, below it, I slashed at the Cerberus's leg to get extra damage but before I get the fourth slash the Cerberus jumped away.

[60 damage dealt]

After the Cerberus touched the ground it immediately lunges at me again but I jump up with all my leg strength and manage to be on top of its head.

From the top, I stab the Cerberus's neck with all my arm strength.

[70 damage dealt]

'alright just 200 more points of damage '

The Cerberus shakes its body and jumps around trying to get me off its body, I want to jump down but because of it humping around I ended up jumping a bit far up leaving my sword still embedded in its neck.

"[barrier ]" I made a barrier for me to stand on in a form of a pillar.

The Cerberus is still below me I quickly think of a way to get down but I got no better idea than just jumping down. Wait I think I do.

I jump "[ice spike]" and make a chivalry Lance in my right hand.

I plan to stab its head with it while falling I don't know how effective it will be but one way to find out.

I jump down and free-fall toward its head with the lance in my hand and a moment later.

*boom*
*crash*

A boom, a crash, and a shattering sound echo throughout the room ( I think I'm exaggerating in this statement ) below me the head of what should be the Cerberus is engulfed in ice along with its body making a pile of glaciers.

Looking around it seems that Nathan is done dealing with the chimera and is going toward me right now.

"hey elly how's the fight, sorry I can't come to the rescue the chimera is giving me a bit of trouble "

"Surprisingly I'm fine, no injury whatsoever, what about you "

"I got poisoned an-"

"What, come here let me threat your wounds"

"no, you don't need to I'm fine"

"getting poisoned by an experimental creation of humankind is not fine Nathan, unfortunately, I don't have the means to cure poison "

I got down from the Cerberus corpse and get close to Nathan.

I start to check all over Nathan's body to see if there are any wounds and see many snake bite marks and scratch marks from claws.

"gosh look at these wounds  [heal] [zone heal] sorry I couldn't  do anything about the poison"

"don't worry it will wear off in a few hours and it just gave me damage over time and weaken me a bit anyway "

"Okay here have all my healing pots"I gave Nathan 10 healing potions that I just got from the wave.

"Thanks"

I look at my status and see that I have used pretty much 55% of my mana reserve {gosh ill have to make this mana usage easier to understand next time}.

I take a look at my inventory to see the loot for this wave.

"jackpot," I said as I take out my newly earned bow and arrows to my quiver.

"has something happened," Nathan asked

"Nathan look at this, " I said as I showed him my new longbow

"dang that looks powerful "

"I'm sure it is, although due to how big it is I don't think I can move as fast as before"

"I can see that "

I also take out two mana potions and drank it

[enough talking you love birds ]

"You son of a, we don't even know each other in real life" I almost shouted

[yea whatever you say the last wave is about to... Huh?]

[huh? What the, how is the condition met there's only one child of gods here ]

The entire room starts to shake violently startling me and Nathan.

"what's happening why is there a quest suddenly appearing, " I said

A moment later all 4 corners of the ceiling broke, from the hole tentacle shows up.

"what the hell" Nathan shouted

The middle of the ceiling broke and from the hole appear another big blob of flesh the size of a house.

The blood moves violently until it suddenly burst open like a mouth revealing an eye inside and sharp teeth from the lids.

[you know what I'm done, I'll consult one of our coders to try and fix this situation or at least make it so that you're able to beat it]

"What you're leaving us to deal with that thing, aren't you supposed to be the goddess, help us "
