I grin as I dodge another incoming attack and fire another Ruinga spell at the incoming Ursa. However, after casting it, I can feel something hitting my aura really hard. I look to the side and see a piggy Grimm hit me with its head.

Lucky for me, I already cast Radiant Aegis, so the damage is mostly absorbed by it.

I jump away from the Grimm around me, and suddenly a magic circle appears above me. The book in my hand is already preparing the spell I think of.

"Tri Disaster!"

I point my finger in the general direction of my enemy, and suddenly a triangle appears on the tip of my finger. Around the triangle are three colored orbs that dance for a few seconds before exploding.

Three elemental explosions happened and killed all ten Grimm coming at me.

When I land on the ground, Filia arrives by my side and licks my arms which get hit by the Boarbatusk. While it was not a direct hit, it still hurt like hell because of the impact. However, after licking my arms, I could feel it did not hurt any longer.

"Thank you, Filia."

"Kyu!"

"Let's go!"

"Kyuuu!"

However, before we could do anything, a massive torrent of fire killed many Grimm at once. I look to the side and see Ifrit has already finished his fight. After killing the Alpha Ursa, the massive humanoid creature spewed a torrent of fire from its mouth and burned any Grimm near us.

It did not last long before all the Grimm was gone.

"Thank you, Ifrit."

"Grooo"

I chuckle a little at his answer. Yes, the ifrit in front of me is a male. While he did not like it, he liked being praised by me. Do all of them look like puppies? I would like to know if Bahamut will behave the same.

"You deserve it, Ifrit. Anyway, I will see you later, okay?"

"Groo?"

"Don't worry. I will summon you again."

"Gro!"

I wave my hand and see Ifrit disappear into a mote of light. But, wait! I forgot to name him! Dammit! I will do it later.

When I turn around, I can see my boss and her secret girlfriend looking at me with their eyes wide open.

"Boss! What's up?"

"What's up?! How in the seven hell can you defeat them?!"

"Meh, it was not much."

Yeah. They are not too difficult to beat, to be honest. Yes, some of them manage to hit me pretty hard, but my aura takes all the damage.

"Not much?!"

Now her secret girlfriend decided to shout at me. Can you not?

"You managed to defeat more than sixty Grimm and it was not much?! Even the Headmaster will have a hard time fighting them!"

There were more than sixty of them, huh? I need to train my awareness. Also, does the so-called one of the strongest hunters in the world have a hard time fighting sixty Grimm? If that is true, the world will have collapsed long ago.

"You are exaggerating. Headmaster Ozpin can defeat this many Grimm just fine. I admit that I'm stronger than a normal hunter but I'm not as strong as the veteran hunter."

And I'm not joking. While my magical attack is fantastic, my defense is shit. Just like any long-ranged fighter, our defense is like a wet paper tissue. That means non-existence. If not for my aura, the last hit would break my ribs, and maybe the tusk will pierce through my stomach.

For the next boon, I will ask for good armor.

The brown-haired woman in front of me looks at me as if I'm an alien. This woman is Rossa, the right-hand woman of my boss, Rias. Rossa is what you call a veteran huntress who has been through a lot.

She has been hunting Grimm, bandits, and even serial killers in the past.

However, she suddenly announces that she will retire and become a right-hand woman to a small to medium-sized merchant called Rias. Many speculations get thrown around, but the one that many agree with is the theory that Rias and Rosso are a couple.

However, the pair never admit it. That is why I call her Rias' secret girlfriend, even though many already think they are a couple.

"Maybe that is true but to compete with the Headmaster of Beacon academy is not an easy feat, don't you think?"

I look at my current employer and say.

"Well, what can I say? I'm just that good."

Rias Magnolia, the daughter of a merchant that she inherited. She is a relatively successful merchant who does not want to do risky business like any other merchant. Instead, she likes to do it safely.

She will not move too many goods to attract bandits who think her goods are worth the risk. She is also the type of merchant who will check her bodyguard's backgrounds before hiring them.

How do I know this? Because I also do the same. I sent Filia to follow her bodyguard from the guild and spy on her. They did not know that Filia could go unseen to the naked eye if she wanted to.

For the rest of the day, I listen to her tell her secret girlfriend that she already cleared us after checking our background and then start making out on the couch. When they started making out, I ordered Filia to get out of there.

"That you do. I wonder why you did not take the bigger mission? The only mission you take is a C to B-rank mission."

"Ah, I think you misunderstood the system. To take an A-rank mission, you need to at least take fifty missions and have an eighty percent success ratio."

I can see Rias look at Rossa, who nods her head. I want to take an A-rank mission, but I know that I cannot do that yet, and after this battle, I know that I'm not yet ready.

"I see. That makes sense, I guess. I'm really lucky to hire you then."

"Hmmm, sure. Let's go with that."

I ignore Rias, look at me and walk toward the caravan where the other is waiting for us. I say that because I have a contract with Isekai Genie, and I have already read the description of making a contract with her.

By accepting her boon, my life will inevitably become more dramatic and exciting. Just like a hero in a fantasy book, danger will always come to me, and I have a feeling a greater danger will come to me, and I cannot wait for it to come.

This is the life I've been waiting for: a life full of adventure and excitement. So far, I have only faced a low-level mob, and I want to fight against a boss-type monster. I'd like to know what kind of Grimm Luk prepared for me.

I don't know if it was only my mind playing tricks on me, but I could hear the sound of someone giggling in the distance.
