Then, Uchiha Kai smiled and said, "I never said I want to become a merchant. I just believe that we should have our own industry."

The three of them were momentarily stunned, and Uchiha Kai continued, "Although it's clearly stated that ninjas can't be merchants, you should know that the major ninja clans in Konoha actually all own their own industries."

At this point, he smiled as he looked at everyone. "Yes, I don't intend to monopolize the profits from this business. I plan to share them with all of you. After all, in my upcoming plan, you will all need to put in considerable effort, so you deserve a share of the rewards."

The only way to ensure the longevity of his gains was to offer a portion of the profits to win over some allies.
