What the hell is making games in the Ninja World?

The next day, Uchiha Kai woke up from his bed with a yawn, looking exhausted and still half-asleep.

Anyone who didn't know might think Uchiha Kai had been up all night engaged in some wild, indescribable group activity and partied too hard.

In reality, however, Uchiha Kai had simply been modifying a game the night before, creating a 'demo version' and, on top of that, further developing it.

This development was a result of an idea sparked when Uchiha Fugaku had played the game the previous afternoon. 

After watching Fugaku's highly entertaining 'performance,' Kai thought it would be a real shame if such a fun game experience couldn't be shared with others.

At the time, it was just an idea, and it wasn't clear whether it could be realized. It wasn't until last night that Kai really sat down to study it.

As a result, Uchiha Kai did manage to make some progress. Although it wasn't quite what he had envisioned, it was at least functional.

Today, he planned to have the Uchiha higher-ups try out the experimental game version. Hopefully, he would be able to test it out on the spot.

With that thought, Uchiha Kai finished washing up, ate breakfast, and was about to head out. However, just before leaving, he felt the presence of someone outside. His senses sharpened, and he quietly took out a kunai, carefully opening the door.

To his surprise, the person outside wasn't a threat. Instead, it was a beautiful woman wearing the signature black Uchiha cloak.

She appeared to be around twenty years old, with the sharp, cold elegance typical of a 'cool' older sister type. She was the epitome of the Uchiha clan's handsome men and beautiful women.

However, her long hair wasn't the usual black color of the Uchiha clan but instead a rare deep purple. The aura she emitted was strong—while not on the level of Minato Namikaze, she was still of jonin rank.

What's more, Uchiha Kai recognized her. She was none other than his senpai, Uchiha Naori, who had entered the Ninja Academy a year before him.

"Naori-san, what brings you here?" Uchiha Kai asked, his expression showing surprise.

Uchiha Naori was a young genius of the Uchiha clan. At only 20 years old, she had already awakened the top-tier three-tomoe Sharingan. 

The Uchiha clan was famously patriarchal, so it was rare for a woman like her to stand out, awaken the three-tomoe, and become a jonin.

In fact, although Uchiha Naori and Uchiha Kai were in different years, Naori had always been a classic Uchiha prodigy at the academy. 

She had been surrounded by praise and admiration, and even after graduating from the academy, she remained one of the best from her class.

At present, Uchiha Naori has become one of the core members of the Konoha Police Force, regarded as one of the strongest operatives. 

Her status and position are entirely different from Uchiha Kai's. Their relationship, at best, is limited to casual greetings when they meet.

They live in entirely different circles.

However, today, Uchiha Naori stood before Uchiha Kai with a complex expression. She quickly composed herself, knelt on one knee, and spoke respectfully, "Lord Kai, the clan leader has sent me to welcome you."

Upon hearing this, Uchiha Kai was momentarily stunned, then quickly realized that Uchiha Fugaku must have informed the higher-ups of the Uchiha clan about the genjutsu game.

Although he had anticipated that the Uchiha clan would view him in a new light due to the genjutsu game, he had expected his treatment to improve considerably. But, from the situation at hand, it seemed almost exaggerated.

This was Uchiha Naori, one of the strongest members of the younger generation. Among the entire Uchiha clan, her strength was ranked in the top ten. And yet, the clan's higher ups had sent her to greet him, addressing him as "Lord."

In this world, where class distinctions are so deeply ingrained, the title "Lord" signifies a clear hierarchy, a master-servant relationship.

By calling Uchiha Kai "Lord," Uchiha Naori effectively established that most of the clan members would now refer to him in the same way.

Honestly, his feelings were rather complicated.

However, it didn't feel too bad—perhaps he would have struggled with such a situation when he first transmigrated, but after eighteen years, and those eighteen years being without any special powers, just ordinary, many experiences had already been lived through. Likewise, his mindset had shifted long ago.

To be honest, Uchiha Kai had used the title "Lord" many times himself.

Since others could accept it with ease, what was there for him to object to when it was his turn?

At that, Uchiha Kai nodded, "Alright, let's go."

With that, he began walking alongside Uchiha Naori toward the Uchiha clan's compound.

Along the way, Uchiha Naori kept a half-step behind, walking on his right side—clearly in a subordinate's position. Her expression remained calm, without any strange reactions.

It was evident that she had already adjusted her mindset.

As for Uchiha Kai, his mood was quite complicated. After all, Uchiha Naori had once been someone he looked up to. Yet, in the blink of an eye, the situation had flipped, and she was now his subordinate.

It was... quite surprising.

But Uchiha Kai understood that this would become the norm. Not just Uchiha Naori, but other Uchihas would also completely change their attitude towards him—so long as the effects of the Genjutsu game could be confirmed.

Speaking of which, Uchiha Naori was somewhat special to Uchiha Kai, not just because they had been schoolmates for a few years. He was the classic "other people's child" who had been compared to him since childhood.

For someone like Uchiha Kai, who possessed the "King of Pressure Resistance" talent, these comparisons were trivial matters.

The key point was that Uchiha Naori had appeared in the original story. However, his role was created for the anime, which conflicted with the manga's plot.

The Izanami technique was one of the Uchiha clan's forbidden jutsu. In the original manga, it was created by an Uchiha ancestor during the Warring States period, when the Uchiha clan experienced an internal conflict.

In the original manga, it is not explicitly stated who created Izanami, but it is mentioned that such a technique and person exist.

Then, the adapted animation team, Pierrot, created the character of Uchiha Naori, claiming that Izanami was created by her.

Actually, it's nothing special. The main point is that the original plot directly followed the establishment of Konoha. 

A group of Uchiha, wearing Konoha forehead protectors, fought amongst themselves because of civil strife. 

In the end, Uchiha Naori used Izanami to put an end to all the chaos. The key here is that Uchiha Naori also possessed a Mangekyō Sharingan.

But wait, after the founding of Konoha, when did the Uchiha clan experience any civil strife? 

Moreover, since the village's establishment, no one has ever awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan. 

Even Uchiha Kagami, a disciple of the legendary Second Hokage, only had a three-tomoe Sharingan.

The most important point is that if the Uchiha clan were truly in civil strife, the Konoha higher-ups would have been thrilled by the situation. 

They would have certainly fueled the fire, pushing the Uchiha clan toward further self-destruction. 

How could they remain as prosperous as they are now if that were the case?

Therefore, this original plot is truly outrageous.

In this real ninja world, Uchiha Kai was shocked when he saw Uchiha Naori for the first time, thinking that this might be a clever and original anime plot.

However, the truth is that Uchiha Naori is just an ordinary Uchiha, with excellent talent, but nothing extraordinary. 

When compared to future Uchiha Shisui and Uchiha Itachi, she doesn't stand out. Let alone Uchiha Sasuke.

Of course, even so, Uchiha Naori is still an exceptional Uchiha, and if she were to join the Konoha Anbu, she would be considered a top-tier ninja of the Anbu division.
