Who Stole My Eggs?

Chapter 11

When Huo Yao’s sentence was about to expire, an uninvited guest suddenly emerged from the abyss.

Before the guest appeared, the entire abyss was bathed in red clouds, blanketing the sky with great momentum.

At that moment, Wu Xiao was boasting to Xie Zuo about his dominance when he was the King of the East China Sea. Upon seeing the red light, he immediately exclaimed “no,” and the entire octopus disappeared into the ground.

Xie Zuo raised his head and witnessed the dazzling and steaming red clouds gradually converging, transforming into a colossal fire phoenix. The fire phoenix descended to the ground, morphing into a beautiful woman adorned in a bright red dress, tall with a radiant face. Flame-like totems pulsed in her chest, adding to her enchanting and alluring presence.

The beautiful lady scanned her surroundings and spotted Huo Yao emerging. She shouted and rushed towards her, saying, “Huo Er, you’re still alive. Sister misses you so much!”

Huo Yao regarded her coldly, but Xie Zuo seemed impressed by the beauty. Despite Huo Yao usual aversion to closeness, he didn’t push her away. Instead, he allowed her to hold and touch him, even standing still as she rubbed his hair.

Taking advantage of their interaction, Xie Zuo subtly approached Huo Yao. He suddenly realized that this beauty was about the same height as Huo Yao, and actually more than a head taller than him, making him feel even more uncomfortable.

Lao Luo approached and quietly reminded him, “Your Majesty, this person is the Phoenix Emperor of the West, Feng Yi, and his strength cannot be underestimated—”

Xie Zuo’s gaze fixated on Feng Yi’s plump chest, and he gritted his teeth, asking, “Is he a boy or a girl?”

“Male. However, the Phoenix clan has always respected women. In order to secure the throne and win the hearts of the people, he has been presenting himself as a woman for many years—”

With that information, there was nothing to avoid.

.

The five fingers of Xie Zuo’s right hand formed claws and struck at Feng Yi’s back.

Feng Yi, with high divine power, had noticed this long before. He sidestepped, took two steps back, and ascended into the air, creating distance between himself and Xie Zuo.

As he took off, the strong wind lifted his skirt, revealing two robust legs covered with red leg hair.

Feng Yi’s right hand emitted a red light, summoning a colorful phoenix feather fan. He used the fan to hold down his flying skirt and asked Xie Zuo, “Why do you want to hurt me as soon as we meet?”

Xie Zuo, now airborne, responded unhappily, “Who allowed you to trespass on my territory? Come here and die!”

Xie Zuo and Feng Yi engaged in a fight, while Huo Yao observed without intervening.

After all, this was an abyss. Feng Yi’s magical power was significantly reduced, and he was far less adaptable than Xie Zuo, a local snake. Gradually, he fell at a disadvantage in the fight.

Feng Yi, the most demanding person in the Six Realms, accustomed to having the last word in a quarrel, faced an unexpected challenge from Xie Zuo.

“You brat, let me show you how powerful Lao Tzu is!” Feng Yi dodged Xie Zuo’s attack in embarrassment, drawing a bone whip burning with Phoenix Karmic Fire from his spine and striking Xie Zuo head-on.

This natural weapon of Feng Yi was extremely powerful. Xie Zuo, anticipating an imminent attack, found himself unable to dodge, on the verge of being torn apart by the phoenix bone. Suddenly, a bolt of lightning surged, wrapping around Feng Yi’s ankle and violently pulling him.

Feng Yi staggered, almost falling. The phoenix bone he threw misdirected, hitting the side of the hill where Xie Zuo’s lair was.

Rumble—!

The ground shook, and the entire mountain crumbled into dregs due to the impact of the phoenix bones.

Blood mist mixed with sand, dust, and gravel filled the air, obscuring everyone’s vision for a moment.

.

As clarity gradually returned, Xie Zuo saw Huo Yao standing between him and Feng Yi.

Feng Yi, with a gray face and wide-eyed anger, scolded Huo Yao, “You are sick. I came to see you out of kindness, but you actually helped an outsider beat me!”

The word ‘outsider’ cut like a sharp blade, causing Xie Zuo discomfort. This red-feathered chicken truly deserved to be dealt with.

Demonic power gathered in Xie Zuo’s palm. Suddenly, Huo Yao grabbed his hand and said, “Stop making trouble.”

Realizing the odds were against him in a two-on-one situation, Xie Zuo reluctantly withdrew his demonic power, calculating his next move.

Huo Yao was a bit surprised. Did Feng Yi’s strong incense scent remind Xie Zuo of something, leading to his hostility?

Feng Yi, staring at the intertwined hands of Huo Yao and Xie Zuo, said, “Oh,” as he put the phoenix bone back into his spine.

He then retrieved the phoenix feather fan, covering half of his face, and spoke softly, “Oh, it’s all a misunderstanding, dear little brother. Big sister doesn’t have any personal relationship with your Great Thunder Deity, no need to be so jealous.”

Having referred to himself as ‘Lao Tzu’ earlier, he now used ‘big sister’.

Xie Zuo observed Feng Yi’s performance, feeling a wave of relief.

However, Huo Yao suddenly withdrew his hand from Xie Zuo’s grasp.

Feng Yi chuckled, “What’s wrong with you? You’re already this old. Even if you find a sow, I’ll bless you, let alone such a handsome and fierce little thing.”

Xie Zuo’s subsided murderous intent flared up again at being called a ‘little thing’. This red-feathered chicken truly deserved to die.

Huo Yao, finding Feng Yi’s words too irritating, chose silence over explanation.

.

Feng Yi, after the recent confrontation with Xie Zuo, was wary of him. Looking at Xie Zuo under the cover of Huo Yao’s body, he noticed something amiss. “Wait, you—”

Xie Zuo glared back fiercely, “What?”

Unexpectedly, a series of pearl-like tears flowed from Feng Yi’s eyes, “Heavenly Father—!”

Feng Yi wailed, pushing Huo Yao away, rushing over to hug Xie Zuo tightly, and kneeling down. He cried, “Heavenly Father——! I miss you so much, oooooh——!”

Xie Zuo wanted to kick him away, but Feng Yi’s embrace was so tight that he couldn’t break free.

Huo Yao shook her head helplessly, saying, “You’ve mistaken the person. Let him go.”

Feng Yi raised his head, glanced at Xie Zuo, and then clung tightly to his thigh, tears and snot streaming down, “Heavenly Father, woo woo, Feng Bao misses you so much…”

Xie Zuo felt goosebumps all over his body, insisting, “Go away!”

Feng Yi stood up, tears still in his eyes, and looked down at Xie Zuo, “Father, why are you so much shorter than me? Why don’t you recognize me?”

Xie Zuo reached out, pinching Feng Yi’s neck with eyes flashing angry red light, “I am the demon king Xie Zuo, not your so-called heavenly father.”

“You…” Feng Yi looked at Xie Zuo in horror, “Demon King? You are the little demon king who was suppressed here by Huo Yao. Why…how do you look like this?”

Frustrated, Xie Zuo threw Feng Yi to the ground, retorting, “I was born like this, what do you think?”

Feng Yi jumped up, landing near Huo Yao, “Are you hiding something from me? What’s going on? Who is he?”

Electric light flashed on Huo Yao’s body, forcing Feng Yi to distance himself as he screamed.

At this moment, Wu Xiao, who had been concealed in the soil, couldn’t resist popping up, “Huo Er, you still won’t tell the truth? Do you think I’m blind? Even the red-feathered hot chicken can see that something is amiss! Tell me, is this little demon king actually the heavenly father or the son of the heavenly father and Xie Xiao?”

True to his character, if Huo Yao could answer straightforwardly, he wouldn’t be Huo Yao. He raised his foot and stepped Wu Xiao into the soil, addressing Feng Yi, “Don’t pay attention to Wu Xiao’s nonsense. Do you need anything else? If not, just leave.”

Wu Xiao’s words had carried a load of information. Feng Yi was momentarily stunned, glancing between Huo Yao and Xie Zuo. Finally, his gaze settled on the mountaintop he had inadvertently destroyed, “I won’t leave, I haven’t compensated the little demon king with a new mountain.”
