Chapter 110 - I
Since the Lantern Festival, Tiandi quietly observed Huo Yao to see who he had fallen in love with.
Tiandi was determined that if Huo Yao and his beloved were in love, he would never be a shameful third party. He would bless them and return to the land of void without looking back!
But over and over again, Huo Yao, in addition to practicing and improving every day, conscientiously completed the tasks assigned to him by Tiandi. He didn’t meet anyone in private.
Tiandi secretly wondered: Was he overthinking? Yes, men were always curious about marriage and so on, so it didn’t matter if they calculated it. Huo Yao controlled the thunder of the six realms and was in charge of punishment. He was the Deity of Thunder with the highest status and the most powerful deity. He was already extremely esteemed, and his future was not surprising.
Tiandi quietly sighed in relief and began to plan his first move. Even if Huo Yao didn’t have anyone he liked now, he was already curious about marriage and personnel affairs. The one who was close to the water and the tower would get the moon first. If Huo Yao liked someone else, Tiandi as the master of the world and the co-lord of the six realms, would give in instead of fighting others. That would be too shameless!
But how to make the first move…
Living day and night together, there were opportunities everywhere!
One day, Tiandi took Wu Xiao and Huo Yao to the ghost world and killed a big ghost king who was born from evil thoughts.
The ghost king wasn’t difficult to deal with, but it was extremely disgusting and messy. If it was hurt, all kinds of poisonous filth would spew out. When the monster was completely dead, the three of them seemed to have just crawled out of a cesspit, and the smell was unbearable.
Tiandi nearly fainted. After leaving the ghost world, he plunged into the East China Sea, closely followed by Wu Xiao and Huo Yao. The three “father and son” took a good bath in the sea to wash away all the filth.
Tiandi let out a long sigh and laid comfortably on his back in the sea, letting the current push him back to the small island where he lived.
Watching Wu Xiao and Huo Yao come ashore one after another, Tiandi came up with a good idea.
“Wu Xiao, come here!” Tiandi waved to Wu Xiao.
Wu Xiao strode over. “What’s the matter, Heavenly Father?”
Tiandi hugged him, took him aside, and whispered to him, “There is a green lotus in front of the Buddha’s throne in the west sky. Go and get it for me. I have use for it.”
Wu Xiao didn’t doubt him. “Okay, I’ll set off right away.”
Tiandi pinched Wu Xiao’s cheek and praised him. “Good son!”
Wu Xiao’s cheeks turned slightly red. “Why are you so polite? You can do whatever you want. Haven’t I always followed you?”
Tiandi smiled and said: “It’s good to have a son who is filial. Go quickly.”
“Yeah!” Wu Xiao put on his clothes and strode away. As Wu Xiao passed Huo Yao, he glanced at him ostentatiously. “Huo Er, do you know what Heavenly Father asked me to do?”
“I don’t know.”
“I won’t tell you.” Wu Xiao was extremely proud. He was the first in the family, and Heavenly Father always loved him the most. Only he could play with Heavenly Father, and Huo Er would never be able to compare with him!
Huo Yao had long been used to Wu Xiao holding a gun and a stick against him, so he wasn’t polite and said coldly, “Don’t cause any trouble along the way. Go early and come back early, brother.”
Wu Xiao glared at him fiercely, turned into a purple-gold light, and left.
After sending away the large child in the family, the real minor in the eyes of Tiandi —King Wuxiao—Tiandi set his sights on Huo Yao. He had grown up and could start preparing to eat.
Tiandi took two steps toward Huo Yao and suddenly fell down with an “ouch” sound.
“Heavenly Father!” Huo Yao hurriedly helped him up. “What’s wrong with you?”
Tiandi frowned and stretched out his left foot. “Did I sprain it just now? It hurts!”
He only cried out that it hurt but wouldn’t move. Huo Yao carefully rolled up his trousers and found a large bruise on his ankle, which really looked like a sprain.
Tiandi pretended to use his divine power and sighed. “Sure enough, it can’t be cured at once. The scars left by such evil thoughts must be slowly resolved.” He tried to move, leaning against Huo Yao’s arms, sweating all over his head. “It hurts so much. I’ve never suffered anything like this before. Ouch—!”
Huo Yao had never seen such a fragile and helpless Heavenly Father. He was worried and distressed. He hugged him sideways and said, “I’m holding you. Please don’t move.”
“Yeah, yeah, baby Huo Er, thanks to you.” Tiandi sighed, raised his hand to wrap around Huo Yao’s shoulders and neck, and put his forehead against his neck.
There was a thin layer of sweat on his head, and his smooth forehead pressed against Huo Yao’s skin without any obstruction.
Huo Yao paused, adjusted his breathing, and returned home, holding Tiandi firmly.
