Chapter 8
Chapter 8: Vilyric’s “Panel”
It’s truly interesting—are the residents here simply too simplistic in their understanding, or is there genuinely an essential difference between this world and Blue Star? Or is this even a planet at all?
Vilyric originally held firm beliefs, thinking that any continent inhabited by life forms must be a part of some planet. However, since there exist powers here that rival those in games, it’s quite clear that ordinary reasoning doesn’t apply. Using preconceived notions from her original world would be sheer arrogance. Perhaps it’s best to reserve judgment for now.
Setting aside the philosophical queries about the essence of the world, Vilyric is currently more concerned with the nature of the nation and culture here, as well as the potential power system, so she focused her inquiries accordingly.
Lester informed her that there are myriad special abilities in this world that are difficult to define and regulate, but by common consensus, they are generally divided into various levels based on strength: Entry Level → Red Bronze → Mithril → Radiant Gold → Ink Steel → Earth → Sky → Legendary.
Crossing different tiers results in a qualitative enhancement of power, but one must also face limits akin to bottlenecks. For instance, Lester himself is currently stuck at the peak of Radiant Gold, unable to break through to a higher level, which is why dealing with that Nightshade Tiger, comparable to Ink Steel, is especially tough for him.
As for that few teammates, they are mostly proficient around the Mithril level. While they may not be as strong as Lester, they aren’t weak either. They were simply caught off guard by the Nightshade Tiger, and with the additional troubles of nighttime, they ended up in a difficult situation.
“Peak Radiant Gold…”
Vilyric recalled Lester’s previously displayed abilities, comparing them to the levels in [Fantasy World]. This man seemed to be around lv20-lv30. If every 10 levels signify a new stage, then the strongest Legendary level would be over lv60…?
Something feels off. The Black Tiger he mentioned, comparable to Ink Steel, shouldn’t have exceeded lv30; it seemed only slightly stronger than Lester, primarily relying on the cover of night and his teammates’ hindrance to nearly escape…
Moreover, what Lester knows may not encompass the entire power hierarchy of this world. Perhaps above Legendary, there exist even greater beings, so it’s wise to remain cautious.
What remains now are matters related to the nation’s political structure and relations. Vilyric grasped a rough understanding. Lester, being a rough character, didn’t focus much on this aspect; his knowledge was largely limited to the Human United Kingdom region, so it was better than nothing.
“Is this enough, Miss Vilyric?”
“Yes, it’s sufficient. You’re probably getting into hearsay for the rest, and I don’t require information that can’t guarantee accuracy.”
“Haha… you really don’t hold back, do you? But that is the truth.”
Lester awkwardly rubbed his nose. After such a lengthy discussion, he confirmed that Vilyric and her companion were indeed not the Redeeming Saintess and the Guardian as he initially speculated. Although he was intrigued where two super-strong beings comparable to Legendary levels popped from, in a vast world, encountering hidden masters isn’t impossible.
By the way, Lester initially wanted to address Vilyric formally but she found it odd and insisted he call her differently. She didn’t want to be misrepresented as some “Supreme Being,” to the point her toes felt cramped in embarrassment.
“Then I’ll take my leave. If you don’t mind, you two can use this room to rest tonight. If anything comes up, just inform Miss Lily, the tavern owner, and I’ll give her a heads up.”
“Okay, thanks, Uncle.”
Lester nodded with a smile, exited, and Vilyric didn’t bother asking where he and his team would be staying; such minor issues were surely easy for him to resolve, and she was too lazy to meddle.
“This is such a shabby room, making a distinguished guest stay in a place like this…”
Once Lester left, Little Dragon Daughter stopped using her skills to conceal her dragon horns and tail, transforming back to her original form, her light golden vertical pupils glaring at the stone walls and wooden furniture in dissatisfaction.
“Why does that feel oddly familiar…? Whatever, even if you say that, Xiao Guang, this is probably the best room in the tavern, and Uncle Lester intentionally offered it to us. Since we’ve come to this world, we need to learn to adapt!”
Vilyric stood up, tiptoeing to gently pat Little Dragon Daughter’s golden long hair. The latter squinted her eyes, obedient and enjoying the intimate interaction with her master, wagging her tail without a hint of the cold, fierce demeanor outside.
“Hu lu lu… Got it, Master. What are your plans next?”
“Plans…? To be honest, I’m feeling a bit lost myself. The reasons behind being transported here are still shrouded in fog. Although I’m not determined to clarify everything, there’s still… well, let’s just take it step-by-step, visiting those big cities and meeting different people might yield unexpected gains?”
“Yes, do you want to rest now?”
“No hurry, I’m not that tired.”
Vilyric sat by the bed, opening her personal panel. Now that she was in a relatively safe place, she had the mood to carefully review the power and body she brought over from the game.

While she didn’t know what level could be reached in this world, Vilyric’s current setup in [Fantasy World] was already peak gameplay—two artifacts, a set of three semi-artifact combinations, and a unique bound item obtained after completing a special task that lifted her level cap from lv100 to lv110. Only about ten people in the entire game boasted such a luxurious setup.
On top of that, the strength of Xiao Guang, her contracted pet who was fed countless rare materials, was even above that of top-tier warrior players at the same level…
Realizing this, Vilyric casually opened her pet’s panel.
【Name: Xiao Guang (Pet)

Xiao Guang, as a pet specialized in melee combat and protection, was already inherently stronger with attributes surpassing that of human-born Vilyric. Though she was ten levels lower, her overall stats still topped her master’s by a slight margin, marking her as a significant support in Vilyric’s game.
Although the pet’s equipment slots were limited to three and the skill tree was markedly different from players, Little Dragon Daughter’s power was undeniable.
Both their panels closely resembled those in the game, with the only thing puzzling to Vilyric being this【Age】…
