Raizel slowly approached the window, his gaze fixed on the woods outside. It had been nearly a year since he arrived in this supernatural world, filled with dangers beyond imagination one could thought of. Lost in thought, he reflected on his past life.
After a moment, he decided to take a walk through the woods, contemplating whether to invite Eve along if she wished to join him. Descending the stairs, he followed Eve's scent to her room. As he entered, he saw her gazing out the window, a book by her side, seemingly unaware of his presence.
Softly, Raizel spoke, "Hey, wanna go outside?" Eve started at his sudden appearance but quickly calmed down. Raizel repeated his question, his tone warm, "Wanna go outside?".
Eve glanced outside through the window and hesitantly asked, "Can I?" With a reassuring smile, Raizel replied, "Sure, come with me."
Silently, Eve followed Raizel outside. Meanwhile, Selene, sensing Raizel's departure, approached Eve's room, concern etched on her face. Seeing Raizel and Eve leaving, she hurried closer to find out their destination.
Raizel noticed Selene's worried expression and addressed her with a smile, "We're just taking a walk outside. We'll be back before dark." Realizing she had little choice, Selene looked at Eve and nodded, granting her permission to venture outside with Raizel.
Until Raizel and Eve disappeared into the woods, Selene remained by the window, watching them until they were out of sight. Ever since Eve had left the mansion, Raizel had noticed a newfound brightness in her demeanor, a genuine curiosity about the world around her. Raizel couldn't help but smile at her genuine happiness, though he couldn't shake the feeling of pity for the life she had led as a mere tool until just a month ago.
Eve caught Raizel's glance, sensing the sadness behind his smile. Wanting to reassure him, she offered a smile of her own, a gesture he hadn't seen from her since they first met. As they walked deeper into the woods, Eve reveled in her newfound freedom, mimicking the sounds of birds as she walked alongside Raizel.
Their journey led them deeper into the woods until they stumbled upon a deer and its fawn. As soon as the animals noticed Raizel and Eve, they bolted away, leaving her with a mix of happiness for encountering them and disappointed for not being able to get closer.
Observing Eve's disappointment, Raizel decided to use his mind abilities to draw the deer and its fawn back to them. Stepping forward, Raizel beckoned Eve to follow, her expression changing as she saw the animals approach once more. Glancing at Raizel, she realized he had anticipated her reaction.
Approaching the deer and its fawn, Eve's demeanor shifted as she reached out to touch them. To her surprise, they didn't flee but instead drew closer to her. The fawn playfully bounded around her, bringing a smile to Raizel's face as he watched Eve interact with the animals, experiencing a joy she had never known before.
Until getting dark, Eve walked alongside the mother deer and her fawn, with Raizel trailing behind. As the time to leave approached, Eve hesitated, reluctant to part ways with her new friends. She glanced back, hoping the fawn or deer would follow her, but realizing she had no choice but to return to the mansion with Raizel.
To lift her spirits, Raizel decided to use his telekinetic abilities, causing both him and Eve to float in the air, leaving her stunned but delighted by the experience. They soared through the sky until they reached closer to the mansion, where Raizel gently landed them both on the ground. As they approached the mansion, Raizel noticed the presence of Micheal and Frankenstein, who had returned in Frankenstein's car.
Before entering the mansion, Eve turned to Raizel and softly uttered, "Thank you, sir." Raizel responded with a smile before they proceeded inside. Upon entering the hall, Raizel noticed Selene's worried expression, contrasting with Micheal's smile at the brightness of Eve's face. He understood Eve's desire for freedom and happiness but remained concerned about the potential dangers, hesitating to fulfill her wishes.
After Eve and Selene retreated to Eve's room, Micheal approached Raizel, who was now working as a doctor alongside Frankenstein using his new fake identity. Raizel glanced at him as Micheal expressed his gratitude, saying, "Thank you, sir." Raizel simply replied, walking toward the sofa and taking a seat, "Don't mention it."
After a moment of thought, Raizel looked back at Micheal and proposed, "How about letting her join school?"
