Chapter 147: Furious Battle
"You will be Bagutiman[1] you are Putina[2] and you are... Bansot![3]"
So then, the awaited name echoed causing a great deal of shock and disbelief in the surroundings. What kind of name was this?
Bagutiman? The black bear who was named with it felt like crying. Itiman[4] was still acceptable but what was with this Bagutiman?
On the other hand, Putina, the white lion, felt a little satisfied. Although it was a normal pet name, it was much better than Bagutiman.
However, there was also one beast who was crying right now. What in the world was this? Bansot? The red bull who was named Bansot refused to accept it. He knew that although he was a bit brawny, he was short to the point that his height didn't pale in comparison to Jim. But what could he do about it? That was their race, and the blood of his ancestors was running through his veins.
But to be named based on physical appearance? Wasn't it a bit too much?
"What? You don't like it?" Jim glared at Bansot as he sent a terrifying cold voice. This beast was really daring to actually complain about the great name he came up with. Jim thought that he should give this beast a good lesson.
"N-no, no, master, I really like my name... Bansot haha, it's wonderful." Bansot hurriedly waved his hand as he forced a bitter smile and as he tried his best to prevent his tears from streaming down. He was afraid that if he angered his master, he would end up like the fox from before of whose blood was being absorbed by their master.
"How about you?" Jim shifted his glare to Bagutiman causing a shudder towards the other party.
"I have no problem as well hehe..." Bagutiman scratched the back of his head as he forced a smile.
"It seems like you all really like your new names," Jim nodded in satisfaction as he let out a smile. Afterward, he added, "Alright, let's move on..."
After he said those words, Jim waved his right hand and the three new A-rank beasts turned into small balls of blood. After which, these balls of blood shot towards Jim and were immediately absorbed by him.
"You all too, come back!" Jim swept his gaze around him as all the Tree-Merger Apes and even Batik had turned into small balls of blood and shot towards Jim to enter his body. Not long after, only Jim, the little beast he carried, and Tokayo were left in the area. The surroundings then turned silent as the stink of war and blood were still lingering in the area.
Jim closed his eyes for a good while, but when he opened it again, he suddenly turned exceedingly serious.
Tokayo tilted his head. What happened to his master? He felt that he should at least talk to his master.
"What should we do now, master?" Tokayo asked his master. He felt that his master was up to something again. Among all the other tamed beasts or whatever of his master, he was the only one who was being left. And he really wondered why.
"Did you notice the girl earlier?" Jim turned around and stared at Tokayo. His voice this time was unusually serious as he talked to the other party. "Can you defeat her in a fight with your current strength?"
"Do you mean the brute from before?" Tokayo asked. But knowing that that was what his master was talking about, he continued, "If I fight her now with my current strength, I think there was a huge chance that I will be defeated. I felt like her body is can't be harmed or pierced by anything so easily, even with master's blood. Not only that, her Physical Energy was overflowing as well to point that I was thinking that she is the Ruler of Strength."
"You think so too?" Jim was a bit surprised before he nodded. He also thought about the assumption of the other party. And with his current strength, Jim felt that his courage to win against the brute girl was somewhat wavering.
Especially after witnessing what he'd seen just a moment ago.
That being said, Jim stared at Tokayo intently as he asked, "Will you believe me if I tell you that she was now being suppressed by someone else?"
"What?!" It was noticeable that Tokayo was shocked. There was actually someone who could suppress that brute? Was it the other X-rank Hunter? But Tokayo felt that it was inconceivable for this brute girl to be suppressed so easily. Was his master trying to joke around?
So as many questions popped out in his mind, Tokayo couldn't hold it any longer as he asked, "What do you mean master? Is the brute girl completely helpless against someone else? Where are they now?"
"Hmmm..." Jim pondered for a moment before he replied, "I don't think that the girl was completely suppressed in a fight. After all, even though she is pushed to the edge, I still saw her smiling...
"In any case, watching it yourself would be so much better. So come back for now and we will depart." After Jim said those words, he raised his hand towards Tokayo.
"Yes, master," Tokayo responded before he turned into a small ball of blood and then floated towards Jim to be absorbed right away.
Jim then stared in a certain direction for a good while before he said, "Exchange."
Just like that, Jim disappeared in the thin air only to be replaced by a red bee. This time, instead of his sparrows, one of his bees was the one who found valuable information.
****
"So what do you think?" Jim asked Tokayo as he watched the furious battle that was transpiring in front of them.
Tokayo was now inside his master's body, but of course, he could still see what was going on. And of course, they could also communicate with each other through telepathy even when Tokayo was inside his master's body.
"..." But Tokayo was filled with astonishment as he couldn't say a word right now. He was even doubting if they could still put a fight against the two in front of them who were currently fighting against each other.
Although Tokayo had already expected that the other X-rank Hunters were highly likely to be inconceivably strong as well just like his master, he never thought that it exceeded his expectation.
As for now, they were on top of a certain cliff. It wasn't too tall but below the cliff was where the furious battle had broken out.
It was supposed to be a green forest, but what Tokayo saw now was a barren land where trees were nowhere to be found anymore. they were cut down or blown away to the side to form a huge ring of barren land. Inside the ring was many ravines and craters were formed. And it appeared that these craters and ravines would continue to increase in numbers as the battle went on.
Amidst the ring of barren land, two figures were fighting each other. A little girl and a little boy.
The little girl was on the defensive while on the other hand, the boy was, of course, continuously attacking the girl using his huge sword. The sword was way too huge to the point that it was 10 times bigger than the boy.
But the little boy was just standing as he didn't need to hold the giant sword in order to wield it. Because the sword was floating in the midair.
And in every wave or swing of the little boy's right hand, the huge sword would soon follow and attack the little girl leaving her helpless to even put a counterattack.
The sword moved way too fast for its huge body. And the little girl couldn't find an opening at all and was left without a choice but to cross her arms to defend herself.
She was only grateful for the fact that her body wasn't ordinary. Because if not, she was probably long been cut into pieces by the furious sword that was attacking her nonstop. Not only that, this huge sword could even scratch her skin from time to time making her a bit astonished.
This was really interesting! It appeared that it was not only the boy who stole her lover from before, was the one who she needed to beat up. This little boy that she was currently fighting was really pissing her off as well. It seemed like the other party also want a good beating!
That being said, the little girl was determined that once she escaped this furious barrage of attack, she would definitely give the other party the most exquisite torture that this world could ever offer.
