Yandere Ojou-sama!

Chapter 26- To make her point clear!

"Is something the matter, Haru-kun? You have not been looking at me since morning."

Haruto, who was sitting beside the driver, flinched hearing Akira's voice which spoke the truth since the boy has not dared to look at Akira properly since morning and always avoided her gaze to hide his shame for the thing he did last night.

Haruto accepts that it felt exceptionally good to imagine Akira in his fantasies during the deed, but the post-n*t clarity almost broke his shoulders as the weight of the guilt was simply unbearable.

Naturally, Haruto had no endurance over his expression, and knowing how people easily read his face, Haruto was trying his best to avoid Akira without letting her know. But alas...

"I-It's not like that, my lady. I have been feeling my eyes itchy since morning so in fear of possible conjunctivitis, I am taking the precautions."

Akira giggled inwardly hearing the blatant lie and how adorably Haru was fidgeting at his place when he came up with the excuse. Though her fun was ruined when Minami narrowed her gaze and knowing her, Akira already realized what the lady was about to say.

"It's okay, Minami. He's lying." Whispered Akira.

Minami indeed was about to ask Haruto to leave the car and get a check-up first since any disease was not acceptable in her lady's presence. But hearing Akira's call, Minami settled down, still slightly uneasy.

For the rest of the drive, Haruto remained stiff at his place, trying to fight the urge to look in the rearview mirror. His mind warned him to not do so but his racy heart was making it tough to look away from the girl he ever has come to love.

The inner conflict soon collided when Haruto ultimately lifted his eyes to just snatch a single glance at his Ojou.

But...

"!!!"

Haruto was trapped in that single glance since Akira was also looking in his direction with her ruby-red eyes unwavering. Even if he tried to escape the daze and look away, the dangerous glint in her gaze made him entrapped at that moment as his breath struggled to make out its way.

"Haruto-kun. You should get going."

Fortunately, Minami came to his rescue as she announced that Haruto's stop has arrived. Thanking her inwardly and also feeling slightly annoyed as well, Haruto bowed to the two ladies after getting out of the car. Soon, the vehicle again began climbing up the hill, leaving Haruto alone in the same spot as yesterday.

'Hah.. at least her mood is now better...'

Recalling the temperament she wore last day when she took his umbrella away and commanded him to return to the mansion as he was, Haruto shivered slightly and promised himself that he would avoid things that could incur the wrath of the lady.

Haruto had no idea why and how Akira seemed so delighted after the room visit but he didn't care as well since all would be well until his mistress remains well.

"Oi...Haruto...."

Just as he was about to take a step toward the school, a familiar voice called him from behind, making the boy turn on his track only to find a red-haired beauty pushing her bicycle in his direction.

'Kinda Déjà Vu...'

"Kaede-san. Very good morning to you."

Haruto was directed to not get physical with others and only befriend them from a distance so talking with Kaede or going to school with her should not be a problem as per what Haruto concluded.

"*Huff* Are you fine now?"

Haruto tilted his head in confusion before asking the obvious question.

"What do you mean, Kaede-san?"

Getting a grip on her breathe, Kaede handed the cycle to Haruto which the latter casually took before both of them began walking uphill as Kaede replied in a much calmer tone.

"You got soaked yesterday, right? You sure don't need to rest for the day?"

This made Haruto even more confused. It was true that he got drenched yesterday and also fell sick for a short duration when his young lady treated him and fed him such brilliant soup which restored Haruto's health. But that was something Kaede should not be aware of.

"How do you know I got caught in rain, Kaede-san? You left before me, right?"

Kaede's feet came to a halt, and so did Haruto's as he stared at the girl who seemed currently stunned at her place like she was caught doing something bad. However, Haru had no idea why she was behaving like this or how she knew about him being drenched yesterday.

"T-That's..uh...I guessed?"

Haruto raised his brow with a thin smile in the expression which told, 'Really?' but he didn't pry into the matter more considering how uncomfortable Kaede seemed being asked about it.

He had no idea why Kaede was so nervous or why she lied just now, but he didn't dwell on the matter much and began walking again, followed by Kaede.

Suddenly something hit inside his mind, considering this situation with a beautiful girl beside him and Haruto walking with a bicycle in hand. This felt oddly similar to something he used to do in the past but the fact that his partner at that time could not be Kaede did not raise any hope and thus he continued his walk toward the school with a nostalgic smile across his face.

'I hope I can meet her one day...'

[Kaede's POV:]

'Baka!Baka!Baakaaa!'

Cursing herself to let loose on her words and nearly making Haruto suspicious, Kaede grumbled and followed him toward the school as he walked some steps ahead, providing Kaede some space to organize her thoughts.

She never would have said anything which could have made Haruto cautious toward her but she was so worried for his health that Kaede was not able to stop herself.

After returning home for some urgent reasons, she called the monitoring department to keep an eye on Haruto and when she got the report at night, Kaede was really furious to know that Akira not just didn't give Haruto space in her car but also snatched umbrella from him.

If not that she was watching the clip late at night but at times when it was transpiring, Kaede would have gladly gone to pick Haruto and never would have let him struggle in such heavy rainfall.

But alas. Her work always comes in between Kaede and Haruto.

But to ensure that nothing like yesterday or maybe anything worse happens, Kaede has decided to have a nice chat with the student council president.

'I have to make my point clear...just you wait, Akira Takahashi...'
