The next morning Ruvan woke up refreshed and quickly went down to the dining room to have breakfast. The food at the inn was quite good, so he simply sat down to savor his breakfast while waiting for Lira to finish the troops' preparations.

Due to his status as Captain, he had certain privileges and was currently taking advantage of them while reading a geography book.

"And Captain Wiltord? Didn't he come to say goodbye?" Ruvan joked when he saw that Wiltord was not present.

"Wiltord also said that a job had come up for him and he went out with his men last night," Aaron said with a smile.

"Oh I see…Then we will meet in the Yellow City in two weeks as agreed" Ruvan said with a smile.

"Exact. I hope you have a good trip captain Ruvan."

"Remember that bandits are loose in the region lately. If I were you I would be careful" Commander Aaron said with a discerning look before leaving.

It was evident that Aaron was giving a message between the lines to Ruvan. His decades of experience as a mercenary were not for nothing.

While the crowd was chattering, two women were watching the departure of Ruvan's group from a terrace.

"I promise that the distinguished guest will be received properly" replied the girl, who turned out to be none other than the receptionist who had served Ruvan and Lira at the brothel the night before.

"When our guest arrives, you will give her this talisman that contains the coordinates of my location in real time," Nina said before finally leaving quickly after all, she could not afford to lose track of Ruvan and his men.

'I wonder who is the person who will come that someone with such a high status as Miss Nina would be this nervous?' Alisa thought to herself as she watched the last of Ruvan's men leave the City.
