“So, what is the real reason you are down here?” Yue suddenly asked. She was currently hugging Tomoya’s neck with her legs wrapped around her waist. “I know you did not come down here for me. After all…. I was locked down here over three hundred years ago.”

Tomoya thought for a moment before deciding it was fine to tell Yue, as Hajime also told her he was from another world. “I am from a place called Earth. Well was. I died there. I may not look it, but I used to be a man until some shitty gods decided to use me as a tool.”

“A tool?” Yue’s grip became a little tighter as she rested her chin on Tomoya’s shoulder.

“Mmm. A tool to save worlds like this. The damn stupid goddess dropped me down here and forced me to enter this world with no knowledge about anything. Tossed into this labyrinth with nothing but my new body, which I was far from being used to.” Tomoya decided not to speak about killing the true MC of this world.

“Why would they send you to save this world? And why you?” Yue was very curious about Tomoya. She felt a strong connection to this girl. Just knowing that she had died once before made Yue’s heart feel pain.

“I can’t explain that part for now, but maybe in the future. As for why me… I really do not know. The stupid goddess who shoved me in here is probably laughing her head off.” In a faraway place, a certain blue-haired goddess who was being swallowed by a frog screamed in her mind: ‘Tomoya, you bastard, hurry up and reach this world!’

“So you were betrayed?” Yue asked softly.

“Maybe? I am not sure. My real body is now being controlled by another soul. So, I guess maybe I was. The god of my world made a deal with the stupid goddess, and they exchanged souls. So I guess in a way I was betrayed.” Tomoya never thought of it this way, but in a way, it did make some sense.

“Betrayed…. I was betrayed as well.” Yue hugged Tomoya and pushed her face into her neck. “My uncle was the one who sealed me. He told me I was no longer needed. Since he couldn’t kill me, he sealed me in this place. Ever since, I have been here waiting for someone to come. But no one came…..”

“Someone did come.” Tomoya reached up and patted the depressed Loli Vamp’s head. “I came, didn’t I?”

“Mmm… Only Tomo….” Yue muttered.

Tomoya smiled and said: “Tomo, huh?”

“You do not like it?” Yue asked, feeling slightly worried.

“I like it. It has a nice ring to it. Yue, you do not need to worry about being alone anymore. I will stay by your side.” Tomoya really liked this Loli Vamp. She was cute and caring. And most importantly, she was loyal.

“You do not mind that I am a girl?” Yue’s voice held a hint of nervousness.

“Do you not mind that I used to be a man and am now a girl?” Tomoya asked back.

Yue shook her head. “Tomo is Tomo. Man or woman, I will still follow you.”

Yue smiled as she pushed her face into Tomoya’s neck and took a bite. Her tongue swirling around. Tomoya really wondered if this girl knew what she was doing. Tomoya could only hold her thoughts in as she reached up and stroked the golden hair of the Loli Vamp. Yue’s lips were curled up into a small smile as she pulled her fangs out of Tomoya. She felt a sense of security with Tomoya.

“So, how much do you actually know about this world?” They had gone down quite a few floors when Yue asked this question.

“I know we will be in for one hell of a fight when we reach the one hundredth floor. Also, there is a floor we are coming up on that will have a parasitic monster in a humanoid form that will try to make us its pawns. We will need to protect ourselves from the spores it will spread out.” Tomoya was being much more honest now since everything was basically out in the open. She could not tell her about the details of story breaker, but she could at least tell her what to expect from now on.

“Then I guess we will need to be on guard,” Yue replied before suddenly hopping off of Tomoya’s back. “This place…. Let’s camp here.”

Tomoya had not really been paying attention since her senses were all being used to find monsters, but the place they were in was quite beautiful. A pond of water with blue, glowing lights coming off of it.  Purple and blue crystals radiated the pond’s light around the room, lighting the place up in two different hues.

“This is quite nice,” Tomoya exclaimed in awe. She had long tried to imagine the scenes of the stories she read. But nothing could beat the real thing. Seeing it with her own eyes was enough to make her appreciate the world around her. Even this deep in the abyss, she could find such a scene as this.

“Hehe! The water is warm.” Yue stripped her clothes off, not caring for Tomoya’s presence. She walked over with a sly smile on her lips as she reached for Tomoya’s jacket and began pulling it off. “Let’s bathe together.”

“Little Miss Vamp, I might get the wrong idea,” Tomoya said with a tease as she looked at the naked body in front of her.

“Then get the wrong idea.” Yue smiled brightly as she pulled Tomoya’s top off. Girl or boy, Yue did not care. The person in front of her was the person she wanted to spend eternity with.
